For many years, I have visited Montreal and I remember that 3 Amigos used to have all kinds of good deals and specials. This visit, I noticed they were offering a CDN 11.95 fajita special on Wednesdays, so I decided to check it out. I arrived at the restaurant around 11:30am and I was the first one to sit outside on the patio. A very nice waiter brought me water, chips and salsa. I ordered the steak fajitas and he asked me how I wanted the meat cooked...I said medium....good question... The food came in a sizzing iron skillet pan and it was well seasoned...a bit salty for my taste, but nicely done...corn warm tortillas came with the meal. Overall a nice lunch...nothing excellent, but not bad either....a great deal for the price....only on Wednesdays......

What a great night ! We got a table inside near the window because it was way to hot to be outside. Food was amazing but salad could of been better if they cut up the chicken to smaller pieces. Drinks were good but the table was a little bit sticky but I know there's always so many people in and out that They can't make it perfect.

FRICKING AMAZING!! My friends and I loved everything there, the ambiance, the food, the free tortilla and salsa they bring to the table and the servers. Everything was 10/10. The food was well portioned and nobody left hungry. Pretty solid prices too.

One thing is for sure. You get A LOT of food and it's very filling. Service was ok since they were quite busy and only two servers were taking care of everyone. Was nice to get moneys with for once!

Went back here after a long time and the food is MUCH better than what I remembered! Prices are great and food tastes SO good Taquitos were super flavourful and tasty ($7.95) Pina colada super refreshing ($7-10) Enchilada verde was so delicious ($14.95-15.95) Enchiladas Mexican flag was also great ($18.95)

A few months ago, I went here for dinner with a female colleague after work as I was in the mood for some Mexican food and my colleague and she didn't have any objection. Went inside and was quickly seated. Not sure of the name of our server but he tried to make a few jokes which I personally didn't find funny nor was it objectionable. I ordered the combo of the beef taco and beef burrito dish along with a beer. We were served some nachos. I don't remember what my colleague ordered. I thought that the food was good. When we informed the server that we were done, the server brought out one bill without asking if we wanted separate bills. Since both of us were going to pay with our credit cards, we flagged him down and asked him if we could have 2 separate bills. He then tried to be funny again by acting as if it was an inconvenience and he jokingly made a comment that we should have mentioned it before he printed out the bill. I'm not sure why he made such a comment or tried to be funny about it but I then told him that he should have asked before he printed out the bill whether we wanted 2 separate bills or the same bill. I tipped him accordingly for his "comedy" and not sure how much my colleague tipped him but I feel she probably tipped him more than I did or more than he deserved.

The food is good, but nothing amazing. They come in generous portions, although they sometimes taste a little bland. The drinks are fun, as they come in varying sizes! They have special weekdays when they have specials, so definitely try to come on those days. It's a nice place to hang out with friends, but there are better restaurants on that street.

The beer was the only decent thing. Our tacos were grease loaded! Disgusting! Took forever to get our food!

Yum. Nice margarita made me say yum. And then the baja tacos made me say yum too. A bit pricey for what it is maybe but yum nonetheless.

You walk in and there's a clothing store on one side and black curtains straight ahead. I just stood there confused for a second until someone suddenly appeared and escorted me through the curtains, down a long dark hallway, and into this intimate, dimly lit bar. Turns out, I had accidentally stumbled into a speakeasy. The space is tiny--maybe 6-8 seats at the bar and a long banquet along the wall for 10-12 more people. No menus either. They ask what you like and don't like, then craft a cocktail specifically for you. The pours are generous and the bar is stocked with top-shelf liquor. About a drink and a half in, I realized I needed actual food immediately and had to leave. The staff was friendly, personable, and chatty, and because the space is so intimate, you naturally end up talking with the people around you. Definitely more of a solo or date-night spot than a group hang. Such a cool, unexpected experience.

The first time, the music was extremely loud, and it seemed like they were short-staffed. The bar was completely packed, and there was only one bartender making drinks, so the wait was a bit longer than expected. We decided to give it another try, and I'm so glad we did. The second visit was amazing! The bartender working that night was incredible--she clearly knows her craft and made our drinks quickly without sacrificing quality. Every cocktail was delicious, and the overall experience was much more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend The Coldroom. My only suggestion would be that, with a space that busy, the bar could really benefit from having an additional bartender during peak hours. It would help keep wait times down and make an already great experience even better.

YES TO EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE…read more You walk in and are immediately immersed in a forest like ambiance. Hanging plants and funky music draw you into the main bar area as you're greeted by the server. Jess was energetic, attentive, & super knowledgeable. She made awesome recommendations and gave us some of the best service we have received in Montreal! We started with the Burrata & Prosciutto which came with some legitimately delicious fresh baked bread that was similar to naan. A lighter portion but enough for 5 of us to pick at. We followed with some pizza - the Mush Pit 2.0, Salsiccia di Vitello, & the Bianca Royale (which Jess recommended). Each pizza had 6 slices and the crust was on the thinner side. Each one would get 10 stars across the board, seriously. Two of us shared the Caribbean Queen which was a rum based cocktail that came with a little ~ razzle dazzle ~! Seriously one of the best meals & some of the best service we experienced during our week long trip. Food and drinks came quickly and there was plenty of seating. THANK U JESS!!

They took me INSIDE. Through the restaurant. And out the other side into this absolutely fantastic hidden courtyard. Excuse me?? Why did nobody tell me we had upgraded accommodations? The back patio is one of those spaces you'd never know existed from the street. There are stone walls, greenery climbing everywhere, strings of lights overhead and some seriously cool artwork and murals. It feels tucked away from the bustle of Old Montreal and, once the lights came on, had a really warm, relaxed atmosphere. Most importantly, nobody seemed remotely concerned that a tiny Italian Greyhound had joined the dinner party. I was welcomed right in. Mum ordered the trout over couscous, which looked extremely impressive. She did give me some of the trout. Dad ordered the steak frites. I repeat: Dad ordered steak. At a dog-friendly restaurant. While sitting next to a dog. He did not share. I feel like we've covered this issue before. Dad had wine, Mum had a Diet Coke, and I spent much of dinner curled up comfortably with Mum while monitoring the steak situation. There were developments. None favorable to me. But Wolf & Workman is exactly the kind of place we're always hoping to find when traveling: somewhere the humans don't have to compromise on having a genuinely great dinner just because I'm with them. This wasn't simply "there are a couple of tables outside where you can put the dog." I got the good patio. Dogba's verdict: 5 paws out of 5. Dog welcome: enthusiastic Surprise hidden courtyard: exceptional Murals: excellent photo opportunities Evening atmosphere: Mum approved Mum's trout: apparently delicious Dad ordering steak in my presence: provocative Wine for Dad: yes Steak for Dogba: I'd prefer not to discuss it Would absolutely return. Although next time, when someone says Wolf & Workman, I expect considerably more attention to the wolf portion of the clientele.
