I don't know where to begin, I'd leave zero stars if I could. I had one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had at this restaurant by far. I was part of a group of four people, and I was the only Black male in the party. Everyone else received their food, ate their meals, and even received their checks while I sat there waiting. I had ordered nothing complicated--just a plain burger and fries--yet I waited approximately one hour without anyone offering an explanation or update. Eventually, a different waitress brought my food after everyone else had already finished eating. By then, I told her I no longer wanted it because the entire dining experience had been ruined. The food looked like it had been thrown together at the last minute, and no one offered a sincere apology or took responsibility for what happened. What made the experience even worse was that my original waitress largely ignored me throughout the ordeal. There was no communication, no concern for the unreasonable delay, and no effort to make things right. As the only Black male in my group, I left feeling like I was treated differently. I can't say with certainty what motivated the service I received, but the way I was overlooked while everyone else was served left me questioning whether discrimination played a role. Regardless of the reason, no customer should be treated this way. I won't be returning, and I hope management takes this review seriously by looking into what happened and ensuring every customer is treated with the same level of respect and professionalism!! read more

I have been to several of the "Warehouse" restaurants in Canada. I have enjoyed them in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal-Le Plateau. They all are setup like dive bars with a large menu with really affordable prices. Many years ago, the Plateau location had everything on the food menu for less than $5...that was a while ago.....Now with inflation.....the prices across all restaurants are a bit higher, but still a good deal when compared to others in the same commercial area. The story of these restaurants began in Vancouver's entertainment district. Today the company has a collection of 20+ food forward dive bars all across Canada and Washington State. The menu ranges from burgers to soft tacos and healthy salads. This was my first time at the downtown Montreal location on rue Crescent.....I had their Asian noodle salad (which is called Union Salad here) and it was delicious. Fresh ingredients like marinated chicken, avocado, cucumber, mandarin oranges organic mixed greens, Napa cabbage, toasted almonds, cilantro, and sweet sesame-soy-ginger dressing...all nicely placed over a delicious bed of soft and warm Chow Mein noodles, made this dish a delight....I have been known to ask for this salad....multiple times through the years and this particular one was one of the best ones made by a Warehouse location. Went here on a recommendation from a friend when we were visiting Montreal. As soon as I walked in I knew it was familiar, it's almost identical to the location in Toronto! Super chill, club-like/dive-bar vibes, busy but not loud. They have an awesome menu, lots of options, and the prices are fantastic! You literally can't get a meal that good at the price point anywhere else. The kicker is, they only accept cash! They do have an ATM on site if you need it though. The service was a little slow, but you can deal with it. We tried the dill pickle wings and they were so good! If you like pickles and chicken wings.. get these! I had a burger and fries - I don't remember which one but it was very good! I had a Sour Key cocktail, and then I got a second because it was so tasty! Went there with my roommates last Thursday as it was the beginning of the long weekend of Easter to just chill and enjoy . It was really really loud and crowded which end up giving me an headache so didn't necessarily enjoyed the experience much . Also when we got out there was a enormous line up outside. I got a maple bacon poutine and a Garlic cheesy bread which both were very delicious and definitely loved how they seasoned their french fries. For drinks I got 2 sour key with double shot of alcohol which were very good . Honestly, I'm disappointed. This place used to be so good. Now it's kinda shit... my friend ordered a general Thai plate, the chicken was burnt! Hard as a rock! My burger I ordered, the buns were soggy. And honestly I've tasted better... The ambiance was ok, but the music was loud, boring and repetitive. Started to get on my nerves a little. The waitress was ok, not as present when we needed things. Also the inside seating was really uncomfortable, the leather seats smelled really bad which did not help while eating the meal. My friends and I had visited Montreal, and we were searching for a bar at which we could spend our Saturday night. Le Warehouse was one of the few open, and this we were subjected to the start of a bad night. Alas, the story of the 1/5 begins now. To start, my friends and I had waited around 1.5 hours outside (it was packed in Montreal that weekend, and I don't blame Le Warehouse for this). However, the first red flag was that there bouncer at the front kept letting individuals cut and sneak inside ostensibly in front of the whole line. With individuals waiting in line for that long, it does not seem economically smart to let random individuals cut and irritate the people patiently waiting in line to get inside. When we finally got inside, we were led to a dirty table still covered in leftover glasses and plates. They eventually cleaned the table for us, but the table was also located so far in the back that the servers would not attend to us. When the servers finally got to us and asked us for our order 20 minutes later, they barely acknowledged our table. We ordered tequila shots and guess what......they didn't have salt or limes when the shots arrived. The prices were also expensive for what you got. The waiters never came back again, and we had to physically fetch our own water. When the waiter finally came back 1 hour later, he tried guilting our table into giving him a high tip. He even watched my friend input his credit card and tip. Overall, this marred my memories of Montreal. Words do not explain the feeling of regret spending my Saturday night here. Poor service, dirty tables, and pushy waiters give this place a 1/5. Highly do not recommend--spend your money elsewhere. read more

Food was ok and drink is watery down. Service was confusing with local student who didn't know a lot about basic drink. Plenty of pubs and bars to choose from on Crescent especially on a Friday night, but Warehouse seemed to have the longest line and definitely seemed the most lively. Needed space for 9 which was definitely a challenge given that the place was PACKED but eventually got a large table to fit everyone. It is mighty loud inside. They really blast the music and play a bunch of 2010s pop which really brought me back. Atmosphere for me was awesome, everyone really feeling the music and the bartenders/servers are playing into it as well. Ordered a regular and large Sour Key (vodka based cocktail) which was really tasty and was kinda like an actual sour key. Would have been a 4 star but service was a bit slow with the drinks and worst of all, we were waiting to pay for ~30 minutes. Overall though, good vibes, good drinks. read more

Heading there around 5 pm, the waitress placed us at a table with two bar stools. Considering the place was still empty, I asked her if I could move to the booth in the back corner, she said it is reserved for parties of 3. Within 10 minutes of that conversation, I see 2 girls sit down in the same booth. Is there confusion? The drink specials weren't incredible, but I settled for a margarita cocktail that was ok. Alongside, oh dear the chicken wings?! I don't know if the chicken died on my plate but it was really not presentable- no ranch dressing, carrot or celery sticks (oh right you need to pay a dollar extra). Great restaurant! Lots of good music and fun music videos on the screens. For 4.95$ each plate, I was very satisfied. I ordered the bacon potato skins and the mac and cheese. The potato skins were a really nice change from ordinary fries. However, I am very particular about mac and cheese. I have high standards. Sadly, this one did not meet them. The pasta wasn't the traditional mac and cheese pasta and the cheese had a sort of slightly spicy taste which ruined the actual cheese taste I wanted. It wasn't the worst I've had (See joe's panini mac and cheese) but it was disappointing. My boyfriend got the smoky burger and the beets and goat cheese salad. He really struck gold with the burger. It was so good!!! I'm going to have to go back just to order one for myself. I also really want to try the tacos. For now it's a four stars because of the mac and cheese. One of the largest Warehouse locations I've been to! Can never go wrong with food that costs $5.95 (CAD). This location has a lower and upper patio, and appeared to be one of the biggest ones I've seen! Ordered some classics: Mac & Cheese and Asian Noodle salad. Great little spot. Good bar food. Nice selection of specialty drinks. In town for the Gran Prix and its right on Crescent St where the GP Events for the public take place . Bartender was great, could have been a little more attentive. But he was really cool and we had a great time. Food was excellent. In particular "The Works" burger. When in Montreal on a budget, go to Crescent in Montreal downtown and you will find this restairant. Le Warehouse is a privately owned eatery only so far found in Montreal and Ottawa. Everyday and in any meal time, they offer $5.99 specials at least for the summers. Plenty of choices from soft shelled tacos to Mac & cheese with a twist. All simple dishes but presented well. In this sunny day, the lineups were plenty and their outdoor terrasse (partly located on both the sidewalk and road) were packed. Food was really cheap, only $5 a dish, and that's Canadian dollars too! As an American, I was thriving. Food options were plentiful, I enjoyed my apple quinoa salad. I also liked the drink options. In terms of atmosphere, it felt very charged and uncomfortable. At some point, a bunch of men came into the establishment, whom I'm assuming worked here given that they went behind the counter. They came in carrying what appeared to be an inflatable sex doll. They were making obscene gestures to the doll behind the bar counter... in a restaurant? I understand that the place is 18+ probably because of the alcohol, but I didn't think that this indecency was part of the restaurant's business model. Maybe I'm just not as sexually liberated as the restaurant appears to be. A different waitress from the one that served us came to give us the bill. We were then asked to leave our table as soon as we paid the check. I understand that they're running a business and are trying to get as much revenue as possible within whatever timeframe they're working with, I'm also enslaved to capitalism, I get it. This waitress was getting our tip as well as kicking us out without serving us. It just left me with a bad taste in my mouth, especially after that delicious salad. It's hard for me to give 5 stars, but it deserves it. This is a very low key restaurant where every food item is $5.95, it's great for sharing plates since the portions are not enormous but not small either. I've tried(on a couple of visits) the mac'n'cheese, burger and fries, roast beef and spaghetti with braised beef as well as the quesadillas. All are solid choices and would get them again. The only item we tried that was not great was the nachos with cheese dip. Drinks are a bit pricier but original, i tried an upside down Corona and definitely a tasty treat. Stumbled upon this place by accident when on a recent getaway to Montreal and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! This place is great for college students or young adults. We went here twice and both times the music was great and they even show music videos on all the tvs which is pretty cool. The drinks are a good price and the ENTIRE menu is $5.95. I almost couldn't believe it. I got the chicken tacos and they were amazing. I really don't get why people say the "cheap" food is terrible. I thought it was great quality. My favourite late night snack restaurant and bar on Crescent Street. The atmosphere here is awesome with great tunes (hip hop and r&b) playing on their multiple TV screens. The bar is also decorated with Christmas lights! There's also attentive and social waiters/waitresses that work here. Great customer service overall. I highly recommend their "Warehouse Crispy Mac N' Cheese" with Braised Beef ($1.99 extra) dish and "Union Street Noodle Salad". All their snack plates are $4.95 plus tax! What a steal for quality food. Their portions are good but if you are very hungry I recommend ordering two dishes. read more
