Levering Farm has various seasons where you can go and pick fruit on their beautiful property. From cherries to peaches to apples, you won't be disappointed. I understand that being a vendor is a hit or miss thing and was fine with it until I was asked how I did, I was honest and said not very well. I was told that I didn't cater to children and that's why I didn't do well. I don't cater to children and don't intend to. They were very eager to accept my money when I paid for the spots. lesson learned. I'll never return and will let people know that they shouldn't waste their time unless they are selling things that are only children related.

I can understand if it was posted before. My dog is more well behaved then most of the adults and children running around this place.

Our dogs loved exploring the fields and beautiful trails with us. The creek sounds lulled us to sleep and what I really loved was the trees shading us from morning sunlight so my early riser child didn't feel the need to wake me up at 5:30 in the morning to go on another adventure. The sites are spacious with a fire pit and picnic table. Overall, it was a great night!

This makes it less excusable that the store just didn't seem to be fully stocked. The produce section was a small corner of the store. Prepared foods was a much bigger entrant, as was the freezer section. The lack of fresh items seems contrary to the health food vibe. On the upside, you'll struggle to find a place that has more niche brands with vegan, gluten-free, and other specialty items. The local focus is also appreciated. On the downside, I was surprised how expensive it was, and that's with shopping the sale items and the $1 credit I apparently picked up by shopping at the Roanoke Earth Fare. I didn't have any expectations, but when we first arrived, I was blown away. We arrived at a parking lot lit with Christmas lights that lead from the car to the front entrance. Upon opening the doors we were immediately welcomed with the roar of the crowd and the music from the band. The inside of this place was true to character. It was very rustic and made me feel like I was stepping onto a farm for sure. Though the food was set up in the fashion of a middle school football concession stand, it just added to the charm. We got a plate of chili cheese nachos, to go with our beers. Delicious! We finished them immediately. I got the sink or swim IPA and was very impressed with quality and taste. So much so - I got another. The band set the mood as the crowd kept growing. By 7pm it was packed, with almost no seats left available. If you are looking to have a memorable Friday night and enjoy some live music, while spending time with friends, move this place to the top of your list. 10/10 would recommend this brewery to any and all beer lovers and party goers.
