I hired this company ( through Costco) 6 years ago to install shutters throughout my new home. They did a great job and completed the work in 1 day. However, I recently need them to troubleshoot my automatic shade that is in my stairwell with high ceilings. I was told that it would cost $300 for them to come out and look at the shade which probably just needed the batteries changed. I do not have a ladder that reaches that height, so I agreed to have them come out. The crazy thing was , this company did not come out, they had me call another local window covering company called " Can Do Window Covering ". I was surprised that another company did the work on their behalf and again , it cost me $300!! I would never use 3 blind mice computing ! read more

Professional and prompt. Salesperson was very polite and knowledgeable. The product is superior and cost in line with industry.

Bottom line is their bid was insanely high for one drapery. We got 4 bids, and their bid for a similar product was more than 5 times higher than our low bid, and twice the price of our 2nd highest bid. Their salesperson spent considerable time at our home, then hit us with a crazy bid which was so high it was very insulting. We found salespeople with 2 other drapery shops to be more knowledgeable than the salesperson from 3 blind mice . 3 blind mice sent us too many emails afterwards too saying they will price match and this and that. We prefer doing business with a company that does not play games with you. Do yourself a favor and get some other bids if you contact 3 blind mice. I would personally not trust them to give a customer a fair price. For the record, they only gave us a bid and have never done work for us. This review is based on their business practices overcharging potential customers alone. I hope my review leads 3 blind mice to be more honest and fair with customers regarding pricing. 3 Blind Mice? I had a good experience at first with them. They showed up promptly and worked until they finished the majority of the work. The guy on the job said he would need to come back and finish the job. He mentioned that he would call to make another appointment to finish up but never did so I took it upon myself to call them to schedule an appointment. The person on the telephone said that they would have the handyman call me and they never did. I called again to speak about this issue and eventually got my shutters finished. They also installed a motorized shade that is defective (makes very loud noise when the shade is going up and down) and still has not come back to change it out. I mentioned this issue the second time I tried to make an appointment for the handy man to finish the job and still showed up without a replacement motor. I am satisfied in terms of installing my shutters well but I am very DISSATISFIED with their lack of communication with me. I have done my part in trying to communicate with them. Each time I called it seemed like they didn't communicate amongst themselves about this problem. read more

This is my fourth time using 3 Blind Mice Window Covering. Good people from start to finish. We found them at Costco, but you can go direct to them as well. We ordered Shutters with Anita Manalang, she is very good and helps if you need some design suggestions. She does a rough measurement and estimate. Then Robin Waddoups our project Manager will notify and schedule the measurements. When the actual measurement guy showed up we verify the order and how we wanted the shutters to open. The shutters are quality products. The installers are fast and neat. We plan on downsizing and ordering more for the new house. It's a game changer vs curtains and help block out the heat and sun, and look awesome. read more

We had our patio shade done by 3 blind mice and they messed up the wiring of our new patio. Our patio lights and fan stopped working right after they put the shade. I message their staff Leslie and she said they only use small nails. They refused to send someone to fix it. Their representative that needs to be there when I had the electrician come and check is from ( Fresno) they don't have local people, even their representative was shocked to see how big the nails they used. It was a nightmare it was not an easy task to fix all the mess they did!! We spent 1700 to hire electrician/ contractor to fix their mess and to put the shade in a different spot to avoid any wiring problem!! So pls if your thinking of putting shade in your patios beware don't hire this company!! Or if something similar happened to you let me know. read more

I wrote a review yesterday concerning no follow up from 3 Blind Mice and my defective cords on my shades. Today I received a call for Robyn, the project manager. The individuals that i talked to are no longer with the company. She apologized for what transpired as she had no idea I was even having troubles and if I have any more problems to notify her. Had a great in-home consultation on 8/29/22 - the rep seemed sweet and knowledgeable. When she left she told me she would send me the price quote within two days....today is 9/15/22 and still no quote. Unfortunately, my window coverings couldn't wait and I luckily found another provider. Great experience from start to finish! I went to Costco and scheduled a free consultation in my home for new window coverings. I kinda had an idea of what I wanted, but needed a little help deciding what would work best. They called and set up my appointment. Amanda showed up and brought plenty of samples for me to look at. Once we narrowed it down to a few, she was very helpful with not only the appearance, but also functionality, and budgeting. She took some quick measurements, and gave me a quote before leaving my house! I forgot the name of the gentleman who came out to get the precise measurements, but he was also nice. Robin was my project manager, who emailed me and kept in touch though the entire process, and answered my questions. The guy who came out and completed the project was also great. I just wanted to make an appointment for consultation because they are in partnership with Costco. I wanted to ask about time frame between the consultation and installation - and then bam, got hit with some sassy response from the representative. He actually even said "ohhh my god, maybe i am having problem communicating to you, and today is just not the day, and ------" and i was like is this person throwing a fit at me right now for asking what i felt like was a normal question? lol. i dont know. I wanted to give a shout out to the installer of the blinds. Sorry I forgot his name...think Kevin? I appreciate his attention to detail while installing. He kept adjusting the blinds and I could tell he was just trying to move things a few centimeters. I said they look fine to me, but he kept going till it was perfectly level and close together (bought two side by side). Also, thank you to Robin Waddoups the project manager. I completed 3 Blind mice blind info card at Costco San Juan Cap OC on 3/3/2023. Today is 3/9 Thur and I have not rec'd a call or a voice msg to call back if I did miss their call. I'm a Citi CostCo card member...I'm thinking that since I get 10% discount off the 8 window blinds I need...is the reason why their call center is not jumping on my potential purchase. I've gone thru the rep at the store whose hands are tied to let her know I've never received a call from 3 Blind M window coverings. How does the business rate thru yelp at 4.9? Unprofessional and rude. On Dec 2, I scheduled an in-home design consultation for Dec 9 and received an email confirmation on which the design consultant was copied. Then the evening before I received a voicemail from the design consultant asking if the appointment could be moved earlier because a couple of appointments had cancelled. I returned the call and left a voicemail stating that I would not be home from work earlier and could not change the appointment. I received a call back from the design consultant and he changed the story stating that the time was to be blocked out of his calendar because he had a flight to catch. So, 3 Blind Mice failed to meet their commitment and lied about it. I would not let them in my house now if they offered to do it for free. read more

I have used 3 blind mice twice for installation of blinds throughout my house (I was referred through Costco) and would highly recommend. Their sales and installation teams were courteous and professional ensuring every last detail was covered and we found the EXACT shade of white to match the trim in my house (who knew there were so many colors of white out there??). I have also had a few issues bubble up since installation (needed replacement hardware, touchup paint and a fix for a no-touch blind that was malfunctioning) and their customer service has been top notch every time. In October, I mentioned this to a representative at Costco who took my contact information. About 2 hours later I got a call from 3blindmice who went over my issue and promised to send me replacement parts... the instructions for me to try and fix the window coverings have ar lready arrived and I'm now waiting for the parts (that I can most likely install myself) to arrive soon. I hired 3 Blind Mice for my plantation shutters after getting several quotes around town. I really liked working with Anita on the front end, and they had the second-lowest quote for the Norman composite shutters which is what I liked best after seeing samples of wood, composite, and aluminum. Because they price match, I was able to send them my lowest quote and lock in that price, so I was very happy about that. The shutters took the amount of time to arrive that I was told and they did call me to install them promptly after the parts arrived. The only part I didn't like was that they had a third party doing the installation, Fonda window coverings. I didn't know that part until after I signed the contract. Now this third party was professional and the installer did a good job, but there were a few issues with the parts that required him to come to my house three different times to get everything all done. I don't feel like it was anyone's fault per se, but it was a bit of an inconvenience to have the slider window half-done for a couple of weeks as I had nothing to cover it with. Well, fast forward and everything is done now, I didn't get charged a cent until after the installation was done and got signed up for 0% financing for a year. Can't complain about that. All in all, I am very satisfied with the product and I would recommend this company to a friend. In fact, I already did and she is getting the same shutters that we got. read more
