At 5:30 on January 31, the day after I posted my last review, we received as call Edith, from 3 Day Blinds, who informed us that: she would be managing the installation of our wall coverings going forward. She was uncertain, at the moment she was talking with us, when the TV room draperies would be re-manufactured and ready for installation but hoped to have the other wall coverings within 7 days. She assured us that she would remain on top of the situation and make certain that the installation was expedited. She also said that she would send the warranty information attached to an email she would send informing us of the progress toward installation. That was the last we heard from 3-Day Blinds. It has now been 281 days since "3 Day" Blinds approved our order, or over 9 months, and we still have 3 rooms of wall coverings that have not been installed. read more

I ordered from three day blinds on January 20. They called for an installation on February 25 showed up with only two rooms instead of three rooms of install installation. The room that they didn't bring the verticals for is a full wall of windows facing the east over the ocean and as a bonus I have a mirror on the wall so now I have no blinds. No way of keeping the sun out it's blazing hot in here and when I call customer service I wasn't given any kind of refund or discount but was told it was on backorder. read more

We'd moved home after renovations and needed window treatments ASAP, heat from the sun during the day and light from the airport at night. Our concierge (my word) was simply a delight we had some ideas of what we wanted and he made it very easy to translate that into what would be become our blinds. He kept things moving along and we never felt like we were waiting, we always had something to do. He also offered a few suggestions that we're now glad we accepted. The install was a similar experience, we left him to his work and the blinds went up quickly without any fuss. He took the time to explain everything about operating the blinds, especially our one motorized blind. He noticed a defect on one blind and put in for a replacement. Honestly if he hadn't pointed it out and already started the process I would have told him not to bother as I thought it was very minor and that I could patch it, but 3 Day's standards are higher than mine. The install of our replacement went just as smoothly. At first I was irked that my wife wanted blinds, but now that I have the motorized blind behind the couch in our living room, I am very happy with not having to deal with opening and closing a curtain behind a couch. The clean simple look in the other rooms is very nice as well. 3 Day's employees are very professional, easy to work with, and have wonderfully positive attitudes. read more

Problems with 3 Day Blinds If you're considering buying blinds from this company, we recommend that you look elsewhere. We just bought a new home without any window coverings, so we ordered more than a dozen miniblinds and shades from this organization. The quality of the product that they've delivered so far is definitely not up to par with what we've received from Next Day Blinds in the past, but the real frustration we've had has been with fulfillment of our order. 3 Day Blinds seems to be plagued with supply chain problems and they've repeatedly called us at the last minute to say that we should expect further delays. When we tried to inquire about the component that was unavailable so we could adjust our order, we got different stories from their customer support department and the design consultant we worked with and ultimately never got a straight answer from anyone over there. We needed everything installed before our move date so we would have window coverings, so we opted to pay an extra $700 to expedite delivery within 3 weeks. We appreciate that they agreed to do a partial delivery, but they clearly only did that because we were calling and emailing them repeatedly expressing our frustration. To date, we are being told that our full order will not be delivered until late January (long after our move in date and more than 3 months after our order date). We tried to negotiate getting our $700 premium back, but they were unwilling to do that. So bottom line: their product and delivery claims are NOT worth the price that they're charging. We recommend they change their name to "3 Month Blinds" and strongly advise anyone who considers using them to look somewhere else. read more

I had Michelle come to my house a few days ago. She came too early and hesitated to wipe her feet at my door. She was very curt, she complained about my internet, she would not sit on my couch. She was incredibly rude and impatient. When I went through and thanked her for her time and I had narrowed down what I wanted, she said ok let's order. I said I never order right away, I get information, estimates then decide. She pressured, "well, 80% of the people I visit order right away." I responded, "Well, that's their problem.". She became very short when I did not place an order and insisted on calling me to follow up in 3 days. Will never use this company again. read more

I'm extremely dissatisfied with 3 day blinds. I got new blinds installed a little over two years ago and I've had several issues with blinds. One time three of seven blinds I got installed the string holding the blinds together completely came apart. It took them over two month to repair it. Now my blind will not open. All the other 1 star (which should be 0) reviews are representative of 3-Day Blinds' reputation. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - EVER! Expensive products and horrible Customer Service!!! I ordered a blind to replace an older blind that had failed. Simple enough. I gave the designer the exact measurements and she came out to the house to confirm the measurements (she actually was a manager at Next Day Blinds where I had purchased the original blind - small world). The designer also used my old broken blind as a guide as to what I wanted. Once ordered, it took about 3 weeks to arrive (so I'm not sure how accurate "3 day blinds" is...) but it wasn't the end of the world. The blind that arrived was an outside mount and 3 inches wider than I had ordered (I needed an inside mount). Given the profile of my window's trim, an outside mount would not work which is why I needed an inside mount. Mistakes happen and this should be a simple fix...or so I thought. I have now spent 3 months (!!!!) trying to get a correct replacement blind that fits my window and have been given the run around still with no resolution. One almost $500 blind that doesn't fit, 3 months of effort and still no solution. Do not buy anything from this Company. There are plenty of blind companies out there...go with someone else! This should have been a simple resolution something to the effect of "Sorry Sir. We will get the correct size, remake the blind and ship it right out to you." I can't get it in 3 days because it's shutters so 3 day guarantee doesn't apply here because the Chinese factory with child labor is backed logged with orders. So perhaps the name should be changed to 3 month blinds? The price they quoted me wasn't competitive at all and it turns out I wasn't getting wood shutters . The other quote was for a composite material ( plastic and wood dust is what I am guessing) and read it could give off toxic gas as the sun heats up the product after being installed . This rating should be a 0 because that's what I have gotten for a payment of over $1200. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered shutters for one window over a door. The measurement was made without a ladder because the rep would not use a ladder. The shutters arrived the wrong size after 8 weeks. Then, two additional reps were sent to re-measure. All wrong and shutters arrived again. Each time I speak with service reps the make promises that others say are not possible, etc. expedite to replace mistakes, etc. Service managers never respond and don't call back. When I requested to cancel the order, their highest service rep I spoke said there is no way to legally get satisfaction, I just have to keep waiting til they get it right. We just moved to a newly constructed home on Maryland's Eastern Shore and purchased bottom-up, top-down accordion shades for all of our windows and our slider. They are absolutely perfect -- as was the entire purchase and installation process. The rep who made the initial visit knew her products extremely well and helped us make appropriate choices, including deciding which shades should be motorized and which did not need that upgrade. The rep who did the final measuring was equally competent. And the two installers could not have been better. Their work was impeccable, and they were beyond neat -- wearing shoe covers and taking away all of the boxes and wrappings. And after the installation, as a team, they made sure that we fully understood how everything works, even making a drawing of the remote so that we won't forget what button does what. Our total experience with 3 Day Blinds could not have been better! read more

Very expensive thought we would just go over budget for quality and painless installation. I gave two stars the staff was nice and the blind look good but mechanically don't work well. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. As I'm writing this review, I am sitting on hold waiting to speak to someone. I have been on hold for over 30 minutes. I'm sure they won't pick up because I have a complaint. We ordered our blinds in August. They were just installed today... 5 months later. There was zero communication during the 5 months from 3 day blinds. I had to be the one to call and sit on hold. I have been in contact with Michelle, the sales rep, who couldn't care less. She called me all the time before the order was actually placed but once placed, I never heard from her again. I reached out to her several times for help getting through to someone. Once again, we're at 1 star. I had the opportunity to compare a Levolor blind from Home Depot to 3 day blind. The texture of the faux wood was superior, the open and close mechanism almost silent, snd the overall appearance of the blind was higher quality. Cost was about half of 3 day blinds. By the way, there is no such thing as 3 day, maybe a week if you want yo pay an extra grand or so. Count on at least 6 weeks. read more

I'm surprised by all the negative reviews! Back and forth on whether to rate 4 or 5 stars - but overall I am happy with the product and the customer service I received - so 5 it is :) The 'design consultant' was professional, punctual and did not try to pressure me into the sale that day. I knew what I wanted (matching existing bamboo/wooden shades in other windows) - so the 'designer' input wasn't overly important to me - but the process was easy. The original order had a 'production error' and were VERY slightly short. The installer took photos and initiated a re-order without any back and forth. The replacements came a week later - and now I'm very pleased with the shades. This was definitely not the cheapest option - but they were installed on ~ 25 foot high windows in a room with cathedral ceilings - so I wasn't going to do it myself... and in a very timely manner (about 10 days after I requested a consultation the first shades were installed - Home Depot/Lowe's and others I looked into had lead times of a couple months + for install). I received excellent customer service throughout the process - so even though there was a hiccup - I'm rating 5 stars. read more

I had the worst experience every, I spoke with two young ladies today in their customer service department and I was placed on hold for 32 minutes just for a quote to have blinds unstalled and reinstalled. I needed some new blinds for my home and contacted Next Day Blinds, and found they were bought by 3 Day Blinds. Once I was scheduled for an appt, Sat 1-5, I waited and waited. I called the the rep/cus service said "I'm sorry but you're product did not come in". I was rescheduled for the following Wed and they did come and installed verticle white blinds in my master bed room and one small window in the living. I was charged $624 for that(!) and then was treated disrespectfully when I wasn't informed of my product not coming in and waited for 5 hours - on a Saturday (day off!!) for nothing. Do NOT ever use 3 Day Blinds. I'm beginning to think it is actually a scam business and calling my bank to claw back the thousands I've already paid them. I ordered blinds for 4 bedrooms on July 23rd. The contract estimated delivery between Aug 8 and Aug 18. However I never got a phone call to tell me when they would be installed. Customer service finally told me they were delayed but could never tell me when they would be delivered. I called multiple times for weeks and still can not get a phone call back. Then they suddenly scheduled installation and then never showed up. It's been 5 days since then and I STILL have not gotten a call back even though I have left multiple messages with customer care and the district manager. When I think of 3 day blinds I think of lying by omission and lying for self-interest. It turns out that the first price they quote you is for "fast" delivery and installation. If you happen to mention " I am not in any hurry, next month is fine " then the price dropped from $800 to $600. It appears they "assume" every customer wants fast coverage and charges accordingly. My sales person told me "that's where they were told to start". The blinds came in early and when they called, it turns out they "charge" your credit card when you make the appointment, even if 3 weeks out. When I realized this, I said never mind, I would wait to make my appointment until a later date. The customer service person did not like that comment, so she hung up on me. She kept my appointment I had cancelled, and then charged my card. I cancelled the entire order. Self-interest is not good customer service. Find someone else you can trust. read more

The way my order has been handled is just baffling. I initially scheduled a consultation because my original blinds were created by Next Day Blinds, who have since been bought our by your company. Supposed to be simple - replacement of an already existing cellular shade. My initial consultant called me to reschedule our appointment for her own convenience, to which I obliged, and then NO SHOWED. I had to call her to find out that she wasn't coming. Due to the no show, I was rescheduled with another consultant for a week later. In the meantime I was assured by the district manager and the customer care agent and my design consultant that I could get temporary shades from your company to hold me over since the initial schedule issue made us miss the boat on a ready-by-Thanksgiving order... but now it is Thanksgiving and I am still without temporary shades nor my blinds, and have to keep sheets in my windows. This is all on top of the fact that your products are much more expensive than competitors, so I expected customer service in kind. After going through a recent transition from Next Day Blinds, as well as dealing with being shut down due to the COVID pandemic, they exceeded our expectations. Kevin, our installer, did a fantastic job under trying circumstances. He wore a mask and gloves, opened each box in his truck and maintained social distancing (all part of their new normal). MY OPINION, MY EXPERIENCE, MY TRUTH!! Too bad I can not give them a negative rating. I started off with Next Day Blinds, but "folded" due to the coronavirus. Therefore, I basically had to start from the beginning - a new order and a new representative. I knew this was going to pose as a problem when 3 Day Blinds could not find my down payment from Next Day Blinds. I had to find and submit my receipt. Then my 3 Day Blinds rep assured me that I could get the blinds by a certain time (due to furniture delivery and me not wanting the furniture exposed) and that the blinds could cover a certain & special type of window. Well..., the certain & special type of window had to be re-measured and costing more since it was 3 windows instead of 1 big window. The blinds did not arrive before my furniture delivery. More importantly, when the blinds did arrive, ALL of them did not come in the same package; therefore, 3 Day Blinds had to come back. Needless to say, 3 Day Blinds had to come to my home a total of 3 or 4 times just to install my blinds. The selection was subpar. I was expecting a lot more blinds to choose from. I really didn't have a choice in what I chose. I was in a rush. Let them be your last alternative, if you can. Be sure to do your research and consultation. In late September 2021, I contacted 3Day Blinds to get a quotation for 4 new blinds for my house. I needed 2 new blinds in the master bedroom, and 2 in the office. I met with the Sales Person on 10/02/2021 at my house. He took the measurements, and he provided a quote, which I accepted and paid in full. On 10/16/2021 I met with the technician for the installation. The color and measurements of the 4 blinds were as per order. The valances of all 4 blinds were of very poor manufacture (corners not properly aligned, and incorrect measurements). I contacted the Sales Person, who did not return my call until several days later. So I called the main 3Day Blind phone line, and I scheduled an appointment for new measurements. On 10/30/2021 I met with the technician who took new measurements, and placed an order for new valances. On 11/13/2021 I met with a different technician for the installation of the new valances. However, the problem with poor quality (poor manufacturing) had not been resolved: the valances were not properly assembled, the corners of the valances were not aligned properly, and the boards were curved. In addition, instead of providing 4 valances in two different finishes (one finish for the bedroom and one for the office), they brought 4 valances of the same color. So, currently I still have 2 low quality valances of the wrong size in the office, and 2 low quality valances in the bedroom. On 11/13/2021 I called the Sales Person to make a complaint about all of this. He asked that I not make any official complaint, and I that I give him the chance to follow up, which I did. On 12/8/2021 I called him again because no one (including him) had contacted me to follow up. He apologized and said that someone would call me soon. As of today (1/17/2022), almost 4 months after my first appointment with 3Day Blinds, the issue remains unresolved. I filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. So far, 3 Day Blinds has not reached out to me to rectify the issue. In my opinion 3 Day Blinds is a terrible business and their products are terrible quality. read more

Three Day Blinds has got to be the MOST disorganized organization I've worked with. Spent over $2,000 on blinds and while my sales rep was kind and very helpful, once the order was placed, everything was a disaster. From delivery dates, to delays, to getting the wrong window (despite 3dayblinds own measuring), to the constant phone calls for different things from different departments for different issues (none of which were communicated to each other), to me having to re-explain issues over and over again (which took HOURS out of my workday), the entire thing WAS A MESS. I was able to get some money back but probably not enough for the disaster that is 3 Day Blinds. No idea what is going on here but I would NOT recommend them to anyone. Go elsewhere. Also, Next Day Blinds is affiliated as well. I'm writing this after my 15th or so call regarding "setting up my installation" after my items were delivered weeks ago, I installed them myself, and I've called at minimum 5 times to say, I don't need installation please stop calling. read more
