Worst company I've ever worked with in my entire life. Measured our blinds incorrectly and left after not being able to install properly. Took my money in full and haven't solved a single issue. 3/4 blinds were installed wrong and one was not installed at all due to incorrect measurements. Cannot get a hold of ANYONE in this company. I scheduled an appointment two days in advance and was told I would get an email confirmation. Today was my appointment between 9-11:30 but I never got an email confirmation. I called customer service at 8:30 AM to confirm the appointment and let them know I never got a confirmation. They said, yes Tina will be there and she will call when she is on her way. At 11:20 AM I still had not received a call, text, or email. I called customer service again and after 20 minutes on hold the representative seemed surprised I had not heard from Tina and said she would call her. The representative let me know the appointment should have never been scheduled because Tina was on vacation. This was frustrating because my husband and I took a half day off of work for nothing. The representative offered to reschedule for another date and time. It's hard to trust a company that lied a few times and does not respect their potential customer's time. The representative offered to ask the district manager if they could get anyone out today. I waited 45 minutes for a call back to be told the district manager said there's nothing we can do no one can come today. Thank you for your time. Consultant confirmed appointment the day before scheduled appointment. Kept us waiting for over 20 minutes, found out said consultant is 30 miles away from our location at the appointment, claimed the appointment was taking too long. Excuse me, but I heard nothing from you all day, and would have rescheduled with you in a timely matter. As a result, had to wait an additional 30 minutes for another in-home consultant to get her sale and commission the very same day. Buyers beware. I would avoid this company like the plague, and I'm seeing very recent poor review that clearly reflect the issue that the "Three Day Blinds" are having. read more

Worst company I ever worked with. They coukd not get the measurements right. After 4 times I was so annoyed I told them I wanted my money back and they come and get their overly priced, cheaply made drapes and shades out of my home. A supervisor told me I would get refunded the same day they came to get their merchandise out. That didn't happen either. This is a review specifically for Shirley Quintana. (Yes, I will talk a bit about the blinds too..) Shirley called the day before our scheduled time and left a great reminder voicemail. That same day she called before she was driving over- and was scheduled to be there right at the start of her window, this is certainly not the type of service I am used to, but a wonderful surprise! Shirley walked through the house and measured everything, as well as paid attention to the things that she heard me say that could then create a situation where she offered me suggestions. She gave me a variety of price points to work with; and color recommendations. I really appreciated that, as someone who hasn't spent much time thinking about blinds before. Shirley carefully explained the pros and cons of each item I chose; helping me identify where I could easily save money, and where I would likely want to go for the higher end product. For example, I am so GLAD I got the continuous chord loop on many of my windows, because it is fantastic and looks beautiful. Prior to my conversations with Shirley- I did not know what that was. Shirley was patient, friendly, kind, and she knows her stuff. At the end of the day I wasn't entirely sure if I was ready to make a purchase. Terrible. As in comically bad. Avoid at all costs. "3 day" blinds took 3 months (!) to bring the correct size blinds for our daughter's bedroom window and our living room. After the initial install they realized they measured wrong, but that didn't stop them from coming back 4 times to our house with the wrong size. 4 times. Took them 3 months to get it right. It was wonderful getting up at 5am everyday this summer because my 4 year old's bedroom didn't have a blind on the easterly window and the full blast of the colorado sun woke her (and therefore me) up at dawn everyday. We argued for weeks about a refund, and after much haggling they only offered a meager amount back to us. Weak sauce. Absolutely the worst experience possible. I ordered my blinds for my new house when I closed in June 2018. It is now a year later and my blinds are still not correct. I've been working with customer service for a year to get the correct valances installed. They sent the wrong valances 6 different times. The poor installer who takes care of their warranty work had to come to my house every time to find out they had shipped the wrong items. I asked for them to take the blinds out of my house and issue a refund but they will not. So now my 3 Day Blinds have turned into 1 Year Blinds and beyond. DO NOT order from this company. read more

Shortly after I posted my first review, I was contacted by Mr. Ryan at the corporate headquarters who immediately began efforts to set this right. I now have a date scheduled for the installation of the shutters that were ordered. He is also working on the charge card issue, all of which indicates to me that he is sincere in showing that my earlier experience with 3 Day Blinds is not typical of the service that consumers can expect from the company. Update July 20: The correct shutters were installed yesterday and we are very happy with the product as well as the high quality service of the installer. Several weeks ago, the company returned the amount that was charged on April 14. We are well pleased with the efforts that the people at 3 Day Blinds have made to correct this situation. read more

I received sound advice when selecting the product I chose (2.5" faux wood blinds in snow white for my Ranch style house). I have had a terrible experience with 3 Day Blinds . The "designer" came in Oct and we are STILL waiting for them to complete the job. We purchased blinds for 3 windows and spent close to $4000. 2 of the 3 shades were measured incorrectly by the designer and/or the installer MULTIPLE TIMES. No one knows what is going on there, the communication and customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. The designer was rude and never returned phone calls or emails, Her boss committed to help me but when issues continued he referred me back to her and they both drooped the ball. Then I tried their customer support line a few times. what a waste of time. They have given me no or incorrect information every time. The first installer did the install and ran out. I know why, 2 of the three blinds were messed up, one had been measured incorrectly and the other did not have a way to stay up or down. He told us about the one that was miss-measured but said nothing about the defective one. The defective one, that won't stay up, they have to redo no less than 3 times because they keep screwing up. Its so frustrating. They assigned someone to my case who tried to help at first, he stopped contacting me too. They have been to our home at least 6 times. The last installer that was here said someone would call me to discuss all of my problems & that was 2 weeks ago. They are the worst and at $1000 per window, I expect so much better. Recently decided that we needed new blinds for our house, Contacted 3 day blinds online to organize an in house consultation. Appointments were available within teo days and at a time that was convenient for us, Our consultant HARMONY NEKVASIL was amazing so knowledgeable and considerate of our budget. She did not try and up sell and in fact saved us cash by offering alternatives to the expensive brands. Our visit was fun, our blinds were fitted within a few days and we love them. I had a great experience with 3 Day Blinds. Sandi Wetenkamp was my consultant and provided great recommendations based on her interior design background and my decorating tastes. I selected 3 Day Blinds due to the professionalism of Sandi and also the price. I had three companies come out and bid, and 3 Day Blinds was by far the most reasonable. My savings came in on the patio door vertical blind. The other companies were quoting around $500-$1200 just for that blind! Sandi saw that the hardware was 3 Day Blind material, and she suggested just swapping out the vertical slats to something that worked better with my color scheme. She was extremely thorough going over the invoice, individual costs and also explaining where the wands would be placed and how the blinds would work! I received emails to keep me updated on when the order was submitted, when my blinds shipped and an installation date was provided much quicker than I was expecting! My installers name was Eric and he called within my 2 hour window to let me know when he would be arriving. He was prompt, professional and extremely efficient! I had a late appointment due to my work schedule, and I know Eric had been working all day. He was a true gentleman and put up 4 large blinds and changed out my patio blind slats all in under an hour! He cleaned up after, respected my personal property and also explained how to care for the blinds and the best way to keep them dust free. Eric removed my original blinds and disposed of them for me. Great guy! I am thrilled with my new blinds! They add so much more light to my home than my previous ones and honestly give it a much warmer feeling. I had Christi Krenke as my consultant. She showed up on time as scheduled, helped me decide on pattern for my vertical blinds. She measured windows, placed order, and let me know the blinds would be here within a week. I would recommend Christi very highly. The blinds were in and I had an appointment with the installer 4 days later. He was very professional, and quickly had the old window coverings down and new ones installed. They are beautiful. I received a request for a review a couple of days later. In the review I mentioned one minor problem with one blind that seemed to be a bit off. By the next day I heard from Customer Service. This was by far the best customer service I have had for a very long time. They had an installer out very promptly. It took him all of 10 minutes to readjust the blind Now I am very pleased with my purchase I would highly recommend 3 Day to anyone, and hopefully they will be lucky enough to have Christi as their consultant. read more

Updating my 1 star review to 4 stars. 3 Day Blinds Quality Assurance handled my complaint in a very professional and excellent manner. My 3 day blinds "brand" wood blinds were removed and Hunter Douglas Everwood blinds were installed in their place. The quality is excellent and I believe these will hold up much better. The Norman shutters are absolutely exquisite. I still think that Norman blinds beat every other blinds product out there, but Hunter Douglas is a close second. I would highly recommend 3 day blinds but I would advise sticking with the HD brand. The second installation also went much better than the first, and all of the parts were there. This has nothing to do with the design consultant--she was wonderful. This is strictly on the quality of the product. Not even 2 months after getting my wood blinds they are warping, the strings are binding, and they are showing signs of wear. To make matters worse, I've had 3 appointments for the installer to come finish putting up the valance returns and every time he has cancelled bc the factory has sent the wrong parts. I raised the blinds in my bedroom the other day for the first time and discovered broken strings and a missing decorative button. How did the installer miss that??!!! I know quality blinds and these are not it. I'm hoping the Norman shutters I ordered are better, but I'm requesting a full refund on these blinds. My order was over $7500 for absolute crap. read more

I do want to say that I enjoyed the end product. However, if I had known before what I know now, I would never use this company. There was supposed to be a sale but somehow I ended up paying $8500 for 4 large windows. They kept entering a wrong phone number for me (44 ending instead of 33 ending). I would call and change my number with customer service only for the same thing to happen. It took 3 weeks to get someone out to measure and this was AFTER I paid. Then somehow they had the wrong number yet again, even after contacting me several times on my correct number. Once my blinds were finally ready the technician came out and did not have the correct equipment and asked to leave all of the blinds etc. on my floor for a week until they could come back out. Lastly, a customer service rep did call and admit they messed up and they would give me a discount but they wanted to wait until all blinds were installed. This has now been weeks ago. I have called multiple times, only to be promised by the manager to get a call back and of course they do not call. If this were a few hundred dollar job, no big deal. When I pay over 8K I expect a different experience. read more

The quality of these blinds is poor. I ordered pleated shades and they have lots of problems with the fabric and mechanics in lowering and raising. There are expensive blinds too. Not worth the price. Go to HomeDepot, its the same quality for a lot less. 3DayBlinds has attempted to address the issues but all replacements blinds have more issues. They will not refund my money - beware I would NOT recommend them at all. read more

I recently purchased a home that is outfitted with 3 Day Blinds. A few weeks after I moved in a blind broke and fell out of the window. A plastic part that held the blind in place broke off. When I contacted the company to ask about replacement parts and/or repair service, they informed me that they couldn't help me because I wasn't the original buyer! I was shocked. ISSUES:​​ - Since I am on a fixed income as an elderly woman, I am concerned ​ about all costs regarding renovations​ - I wanted 3 WHITE ROLLER SHADES AND NO VALANCES​ - Eric Horan ordered the wrong color for one roller shade ​​ - I was pressured into buying valances to cover a gap along the top​ (there is no gap allowing light in and after seeing the installation,​ I wanted them removed) ​ - The cost of valances was not accurately conveyed based on a verbal ​ quote of $10.00 to $20.00 by Eric Horan, actual cost $110.00 ​​ - The shipping cost was not discussed and disclosed.​ - The only copy of my transaction at the time of purchase is titled as a "Hold Order"which 3 Day Blinds is representing as a contract​ - I did NOT receive a copy of any signed agreement at the time of purchase I now know which should have included terms, conditions, stipulations and warranty information - Sub-par service, product and installation ​ ​RESOLUTION:​​ My case was assigned to Jodi Collins.​​ Upon her review, she decided I was responsible as per the "contract" and I would have to pay for the replacement white shade that was OBVIOUSLY NOT ENTERED CORRECTLY by the Eric Horan in the first place. She stated that since I signed the contract with the wrong color code entered, I agreed to THEIR MISTAKE. APPARENTLY THE LACK OF MORALS, ETHICS, COMMON DECENCY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WAY 3 DAY BLINDS CHOSE TO OPERATE THEIR BUSINESS. ​ Also, even though I agreed to purchase the valances based on Eric Horan's deception, I would not receive a refund.​ When I asked to speak to her boss, she stated that she was the "end-of-the line." ​​ ​ Four days later, Nicole Morton and Tina Webb, from 3-Day arrived and priced the white shade at $282.69.​ Since I was already charged $599.15 for the NASTY TAUPE SHADE, the total amount for the one shade is now $881.84​ Nicole said the taupe shade would be removed from my unit and I nixed that idea.​ I plan on cutting it to pieces. ​ If I were to purchase a white shade from another company, the amount would be even greater and 3 Day knows that.​ What a racket. Five days later, 3 Day had the wretched valances taken down by some kid who left my white shades and white walls dirty from the debris left by the removal. Once the shades are placed back in the brackets, I now see that the dark screws holding the brackets are randomly placed and there are gapping holes in the window well. The shades now hang at an angle with the bottom touching one side and a gap on the other. Everything looks super crappy. How is this company still in business? ​ ​DETAILS:​ I wanted all WHITE ROLLER SHADES and NO VALANCES.​​ ​ I was told by Eric Horan, that valances should be included since there would be a gap along the top that would allow light to pass through.​​ ​ ​Since I was also concerned about the additional cost, Eric stated that the cost for the valances was minimal; between $10.00 and $20.00 per valance.​​ ​ ​I grudgingly agreed to three white valances and the order was placed along with three white roller shades; one being room-darkening.​​ ​ ​When the first valance was installed in the kitchen window, it was not flush with the wall and angled inward. It looked very sloppy and it was not white, it was ivory; as were the other two.​​ ​ ​The last roller shade WAS NOT WHITE, but was a very nasty taupe, which did not even go with anything in my room.​​ ​ ​I told the installer as soon he started to install the shade that is was the WRONG COLOR.​​ ​ The installer said he would take care of it and inform the company. My experience with 3 Day Blinds has been pretty poor at best. They are not a very good value and they are not as fast name implies. Unless you almost double the price, the blinds are at least 2 weeks, and never only 3 days. I ended up needing service on a couple blinds due to a mishap and their service people can't take that on, you have to go through your sales person. Unfortunately, I couldn't get in touch with mine, so finally found a service email and re-sent everything to them. I started the process in late November and will receive my blinds between January 2-9. It seems that if my sales person would have responded to my calls and email, the replacements would have just been expensive but at least sent out in the normal 2+ week turn around unless I doubled the price for express "3 day", which is more like a week. They have a serious loop hole with customer service. read more

We purchased a new home in December and needed window coverings. We got a couple quotes and liked the product and pricing from 3 day blinds, so we ordered wood blinds and wood shutters for the house. The sales representative Eric was great, very helpful. The blinds did not arrive on exact days that we were told, but within a couple days of the anticipated time frame, so no big deal, hard to pin down exact day on custom order products. Installation went well as well. One large window required three (3) blinds. the spacing on one of the blind allowed too much light to come in and of all rooms was our Master Bdrm. We tried living with it for 2-3 wks but hated it. We contacted 3 day blinds customer service, they responded right away, and then sent out a service installer to check out. He gave us a couple options, and said they could re order a blind slightly wider of which we agreed to. The new blind arrived, they came out and installed and wow, what a difference. We are totally happy, and the nice part no hassles with 3 day blind. Great Service. It truly is service after the sale that matters to me, not one to look for problems/issues, but nice when you do have an issue a company that does everything they can to correct the problem and 3 day Blinds certainly did exactly that on their own. Probably the worst experience I have ever had with a vendor. It took no less than 4 MONTHS for our project to be finished and even then, I was unhappy with the final installation. DO NOT USE 3 DAY BLINDS! Problems started early with somewhat deceptive sales tactics. When you are picking out blinds they do not provide specific costs until the very end - after you have locked in on your preferences. Our Design Associate gave us a ballpark estimate on the cost of the shades we selected, then came back saying she had erred and the materials we wanted were 10% more that what she estimated. Then, when if finally came time get final measurements, 3DB outsources that to another company. The person who came to measure did a terrible job (and it takes forever to get them scheduled - 2 weeks for us) and when the blinds finally came they were all wrong and had to be sent back. One of the blinds had to be remade a second time so we ended up having no less than 5 visits from the installers before the project was done. Also, during this process the original Design Associate dropped out and moved us to 3DB's customer service group. The person assigned to us was terrible - rude, unhelpful, and impossible to reach. Buyer BEWARE! My blinds were supposed to be installed no later that June 24th. I still don't have them and have been trying for weeks to get an answer from my designer and Customer Support (more like Customer Lack of Support). Committments continually have been made to call me back with status. Three different people have stated, "I will call you back tomorrow with your status." I've never heard back from a single one of them. I spoke with my designer the day before yesterday and he said he would call me back that afternoon, but more likely the following day. I never heard from him so I called him back today and his voicemail states that he's not back in until July 10th. So once again I have been left hanging in the wind. Calling Customer Support is ridiculous. Every time I've called, I'm left holding for at least 10 minutes. I'm actually waiting now as I type this and I've already been on hold for over 10-minutes. If I did that to my clients, I'd be out of business. I highly suggest another blinds company. Windows Van Gogh was great to work with and shame on me for going with the cheaper solution! I believe I will have final resolution today but I've had to spend tons of my valuable time tracking this stuff down. I even spoke to a manager at one point and he didn't do a thing either! I also hate to make such a big deal about blinds. There's a bunch of more concerning things going on in our lives. The thing is, I can't focus on those things due to wasting so much time tracking down something I've already paid for (in May). I finally went and bought paper blinds to get us through. I was tired of waking up in my VERY bright bedroom every morning along with no privacy in our guest room. We have guests alot! I think we actually may have an installation on Friday. We're very pleased with our 3-Day Blinds (although it took much longer than three days to get them, without an extra charge). You can get less expensive blinds at the big box stores, but they are not nearly as high quality as these blinds. Since we plan on having them for quite a while, the extra cost over the long term is negligible, and in the end we have much better blinds. Shelby Capps, our sales rep, worked with us for quite a while to help us get exactly what we wanted. Her suggestions were very helpful. Terrible customer service. You might as well get your own material online and get somebody to install it. They charged my card before the installed it and have had to send their local installer three times because they measured wrong to begin with . A 2 week promised delivery install has taken over 4 weeks and they still are not done.
