This is a great park with very helpful owner and staff. We have liked it so much, we have come back for a 4th winter season, as have many others. It is unfortunate that some reviewers have not found it suitable, your millage will very, as they say; but at least one review is incorrect in many ways and is just sour grapes. This is a desert RV park with large gravel sites. (mostly 30' x 80'). The owner is a very nice Canadian who is willing to help anyone who needs it and asks. Unlike other parks in the area, he lets RVers work on their ATV's, golf carts and RVs. This is not a a 55+ park, so there are some permanent dwellers in the back, seasonal's in the middle to front and overnighters and weeklies in the front, some with pull through sites. There are about 50 sites total, so when the park is full, some of the Seasonals are put next to the permanent residents. There is also a RV storage area and a row of used RVs in the back that are used for rentals when needed. These are out of the way off the RV sites, and past the shop area and rental storage buildings. There is a brand new clubhouse with two new bathrooms that have new showers. The Laundry building also has one family style bathroom with shower, but is older. The office at the front gate is new and has a small store for your emergency needs. This area is out in the desert, mostly quiet and far from luxuries. It is about 25 minutes to the town of Quartzsite (winter home to 300,000 plus RVers). There are various activities throughout the week including Bingo, card night, pool night, Karaoke, pot luck suppers, and Sunday brunches. The owner also hosts a welcome back dinner and sponsors a fund raiser for veterans. A group fire ring is lit at least twice a week at the picnic area. Water is supplied from a deep well and is reverse osmosis treated so the water is excellent with about 45-55 PSI pressure. Electricity is good and stable, but the high cost of electric in the West requires the owner to collect a deposit and you are charged based upon electric used. The Deposit is $100 for monthly or longer reservations, and then applied towards the electricity bill. The overnight deposit of $5.00 is for Passport America, which gets a 50% discount off the regular $32/night rate. upon checkout, electricity used is credited against the deposit and any refund is provided to the customer. Other discount programs (Good Sam, AAA, etc) are also accepted. Almost all campgrounds out here charge for electric use. Rates are very reasonable and can be found on the park website http://dreamersrvpark.com. This park allows well behaved dogs of any size, and any problems that do occur are quickly dealt with by the owner. Unlike what a previous reviewer stated, only one seasonal guest has had a missing package from the mail room as the only potential theft in the three years I have been there. However, some guests have taken advantage of the owner's generosity of loaning tools and use of the shop area and once he had bingo cash and occasionally tools turn up missing. This is not an RV resort but a great out of the way desert RV park with wonderful people and a nice owner and staff. Check out additional reviews on rvparkreviews.com.
