We always enjoy the little restaurant on site. It's nice to have a place to hang out in the afternoon and get a bit. Staying at Emerald Cove in March means that we arrive before the busiest season. The park was nice and lots of empty spots this time. However, one of the things we don't care for is ending up with 30amp instead of 50amp. We were just thankful it wasn't hot. The one BIG negative is that the rules state no ATV driving around the park. However, they don't enforce that at all. We do like this park and know we will return next year.

We felt sorry for the tent campers in the 115° heat. We stayed in Space #23 on the end and closest to the water. The tent campers line the grassy cove. The cove leads to a short sandy beach that is protected from the wake of the river boats. In the morning we hiked up the trail on the mountain side to the chairs. Incredible views of the river. There's a grassy dog area, boat ramp, 2 public bathrooms, cactus garden, dump for the RV waste and the rangers were nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The weather is way too hot for a tent this time of year and it was really nice to have an a/c, full size fridge, microwave and private bathroom. The motel room itself is very bare bones; you will need to bring your own blankets & pillows and mattress is thin and firm on a simple metal frame. But everything was clean and in working order. It worked out very well. I especially loved that they had a picnic table right out front for us to utilize. A short walk down the street, there is a really cool restaurant, arcade and beach down by the water, complete with umbrellas, tables and even a kiddie pool. In the opposite direction, a bit further away, there is a large pool and jacuzzi...but we preferred to swim and hang out by the river. There was wifi but it only worked sometimes. We didn't really have any service during our stay; a forced but much needed reprieve from the outside world. Overall, we really enjoyed it. The views of the river and mountains are unmatched. We would definitely stay here again.

The trailer was spotless, ice cold, and ready to go when we arrived. What really sets Jim and his crew apart is their customer service. When the park started having electrical issues, they were there immediately, doing everything they could to help. We have a 3-month-old son, and with temperatures over 110°, Jim even brought us a generator to make sure our A/C kept running. That level of care and service meant everything to our family. Hands down the best RV rental company we've ever used. We highly recommend JC RV Rentals and will continue using Jim for all of our future river trips. Mahalos to Jim and the entire crew! Cute little RV park in the middle of nowhere, Arizona. We stopped for a quick overnight while…read moretransiting back to Nevada. Definitely resupply before arrival. There's not much around and the fuel station across the road has long since closed. Super friendly staff and nice facilities. The grounds are extremely well-kept. Sparkling clean bathrooms and generous common areas. Wide lanes and easy access for large rigs. The sites are level and a fairly standard spacing for an RV park. We were fortunate in not having neighbors so it felt like we had more space for our short visit. There are no tables or grills at the individual sites which I generally like to see at this price point. The road noise was tolerable. We got a good laugh at seeing a cell tower across the street and thinking we'd have a strong signal. Nope. Just the slightest, unusable trickle on Verizon and AT&T anyway. I had a meeting to call into so upon checkin they suggested the best place to get a strong connection on their wifi was to be in the main building. I still struggled immensely to connect to begin with and then stay connected even in that scenario which was frustrating, obviously. We didn't have a booster then so I'm not sure if it would have been manageable to continue working with one. They have a nice little dog park and our boy was happy to finally stretch his big legs off-leash. I like that they offer a tent camping area as well which many RV parks don't. That's a big bonus in a remote area with few options since I camp in all the varieties of ways -- RV, auto, and motorcycle. It's nice to know this place is here for any of my adventures.

The parks next door and across the street or only $220 a month. They want to make it look nice on the outside and nice little strip of spaces but in reality these people are crooks. They will rent you a travel trailer and call it a mobile home for $800 $900 and they will charge you astronomical prices in electricity to make extra money. And then if you don't pay your electric bill they will give you a paper and cuss you out and tell you must leave right now get off the property which they can't legally do they have to give you a 3-day notice in writing to pay your electric bill. They are such crooks they're very greedy they're in it for the money. Do not come to this park there are hundreds of other parks in here Quartzsite. I have pre-warned you do not come to this park. They watch every move you make and you're not allowed a visitor it's like living in a concentration camp.
