For the price and the quantity, I expected it might have been lower quality but everything lookedCaesar Salad amazing. It tasted even better! Especially the Cast Iron Mac N Cheese. It is creamy and comforting with a wonderful contrasting finishing crumb. Then we got beef on top which added a sweet filling protein. I also felt good after eating. I did not feel bloated, even though I ate until I was full. That is a sign of fresh and healthy ingredients. I would come back to try more of the menu at any time!

She never left us waiting for service and offered some great suggestions on the menu. While we know this is a brewery, they also serve batch cocktails, instead of a full bar. We started with their version of an old fashioned, which wasn't our first choice but they were actually tasty albeit a bit sweet. Since the weather was below 0, I craved something hot and comforting. I ordered the Beef Stroganoff which was tasty. Included braised local beef, mushrooms, onions, garlic, parmesan, cream sauce, dill, house-made fettuccini, topped with sour cream. The sauce was light so you didn't feel like it weighed you down. My husband ordered the birria tacos. Beef brisket, white onions, mozzarella, cilantro, corn tortilla, green salsa, beef broth, lime Although they were tasty, they were quite greasy. Prices were reasonable. I would come back again and try the pizza.

My spouse and I came here for my birthday this year since we were coming from Houston, MN, and were utterly impressed at the diversity of flavors that many of the dishes had. To start, the appetizers were instant hits. The chicken meatballs were full and flavorful, and it was very clear that they were hand-made because we could see the herbs inside. The mother sauce gave them a second layer of flavor upon dipping the meatballs in it. Then the lobster bisque totally blew my mind because it was so flavorful that I thought it was the best I had ever had. I could taste the heavy cream easily and I thought the sherry and brandy did a fantastic job in diversifying the flavors with the existing seasoning. We also loved how big the portion was for the hashbrowns and thought the gouda cheese had the right consistency to provide flavor and texture, while the caramelized onions gave a layer of sweetness which was refreshing because I don't often see that with hashbrowns, if at all. The mushroom risotto was also full of flavor, especially since it had truffle oil, making it full of umami. I also really enjoyed the tiramisu, as it was soft enough and had layers of ingredients that were clearly divided and defined. Relatively I enjoyed the pappardelle grilled chicken less because the chicken was hard to chew and the tomatoes didn't really help elevate the overall flavor. I also thought that the crème brûlée had too much egg yolk flavor, and since I make this dessert myself often, I knew it was because they didn't put enough sugar into the yolk, sugar, and heavy cream mixture. I would recommend adding more sugar to help overcome the yolk flavor. Despite my slight criticism, I still thought this was arguably the best Italian food that I have had in the entire state, and I would most definitely return if I come by Rochester again. Oh, I was also given a free limoncello shot for my birthday, which was insanely strong so I mixed it with my cocktail drink and it actually helped elevate my drink's flavor.

The place has a great feel - dim lighting, open kitchen, good energy without being over the top. Easy spot to settle in and enjoy a meal. Our waiter was excellent for most of the night. He knew the menu well and pointed us toward the handmade pasta over the boxed options. It came with an upcharge, as expected, but worth it. Toward the end of the evening he started disappearing for longer stretches. We weren't in a rush, but it went a little past what you'd want. Food was excellent. I started with the oysters - fresh, cold, clean, with that nice briny hit. For my entrée I had the scallops over fresh pasta with mushrooms and thin crispy potato chips. The scallops were spot on with a good sear and the whole dish came together really well. My wife had the chicken piccata (which I sampled - and really liked), daughter went with the wild mushroom tagliatelle, and her boyfriend had the pappardelle with grilled chicken and scallops. Everyone enjoyed their meals. We also a bruschetta app to start, which was not as flavorful as I expected. The wonderful warm bread disappeared fast. A couple Caesar salads were ordered and received compliments from those who partook. We left full and satisfied. Overall, really good experience and consistent with our first visit. Would recommend and we'll definitely be back.
