1/8/20 Updated to add the post install experience 4 to 2 Stars Ok..never had this type of work done so maybe my expectations are a little off. We got porcelain tile installed. We still have mud haze on the floor, we were told that a sealant was our option, have popping noises all around the kitchen and some grout is cracked already, despite a repair job a few weeks ago. Oh did I mention that the finishings (room floor dividing trim) and door trimming/planing so the doors would close we had to ask for. I am sorry but I expected post job cleaning to be done. Our driveway was full of clay, I was cleaning it for weeks to get it back to what it looked like pre job. I still say Robert is a nice guy. I am just not a fan of his work and am very sorry to say that I would not recommend him to anyone. Ok so here is the pre-install review. We were referred by our electrician. Robert is so friendly and helpful. He came out to the house to see our jobs. We had reasonable quotes within hours. He even came with to pick out materials and helped guide us regarding selecting materials that would work best for us, our budget and our home. Rob and team were on time and very communicative during our interior painting project. Painting projects can be messy but they were careful with their work and no spray or extra paint shows. I decided I did not like the color I had originally picked out once it was one the wall and when I addressed this with Rob he was very cooperative and patient with me while I selected a new color. read more

I bought my home 6 years ago. It was built in 1935 and several projects were becoming a high priority on my to do list. My front porch was unstable and was overdue for replacement. I reached out to a few contractors for quotes. One never responded, another was way too expensive and didn't listen to what I was looking for, and then there was Rob. Rob was responsive and reliable, he listened to what I wanted, and his quote was closer to what we had in mind to spend. He and his crew rebuilt our porch and then we had them back to rebuild the basement stairs, and a basement door. He listened to what we were looking for and got the jobs done quickly. His quotes were very reasonable on all the projects and the work was well done. read more

We own a 2 family home that houses 4 generations and my mom was looking for a reliable handyman close to home to help fix up her second floor enclosed porch. He had a cancellation and was able to get her in the following week! At the end of the week she had a small concern and they came right back the following Monday to fix it and ensure she was completely happy with the job - even after already being paid, a lot of people would take the money and run. Very efficient, reasonably priced, cleaned up nicely, true to their word. There's no way the previous reviews can be talking about the same people! Well I gave this company 1 star simply because I couldn't write a review unless I gave 1 star, but really it deserved none. I called earlier this week and made an appointment for someone to come Out to my home to cut out a portion of my ceiling so I could figure out why there was a water stain. The guy over the phone checked his schedule and confirmed he could be here Sat. at 9:30. Well 9:30 rolled around, 10:00 rolled around , 10:30....still no "3 Generation Handyman" I called got a voicemail left a detailed message and asked for a call back. No call back...11:30 rolled around, I went on the website and left a detailed email and asked for a response or call back. It is now 2:30 and still have t heard a peer from this company. So needless to say this company is a joke! Also, funny I went to brunch with a friend, told her the story told her the company and she looked horrified. Come to find out she hired them to do some handy work and the guy hacked her plumbing to the point where she had to call a plumber and have it fixed. Funniest part of that is the plumber saw the job and busted out laughing, asked who did the job and even went as far to say that he would love to take a picture so he could show his crew the absolutely hack job that was done. Bad experience, hired for exterior painting. Job was unfinished, took forever to get them to come back to finish the part of the house that was missed, then had peeling paint. They sent an inexperienced person to repair the job that did more damage and left a huge mess. Not recommended. read more
