This place was a surprise discovery. Tucked away in a strip mall. The first sign it was good was the line of customers waiting went out the door. Fortunately, I had already read the menu and decided what I wanted - an A.B.E. on a plain bagel. Once I finally got to the counter to order my person took my order and then proc ended to make it; awesome! I tried this place for the first time last weekend. There was a long line which is understandable it was a Sunday morning. The problem wasn't the line it was the service. There was at least 5 employees there and not one had any sense of urgency. They all moved slowly while chatting and staring blankly at the line. There was also no efficiency. Instead of having one or two people handle the register/taking orders and two to three of them handling food, they rotated. The same girl would take the order, then make the order and bring it back when it was done. Meanwhile the line isn't moving because the other employees are all making orders too. It took us 30-40 minutes just to get to the register to place an order. I was going to order a breakfast sandwich and then I saw the microwaves. They take the eggs then microwave them in what looks like a plastic cup Meanwhile they sit in the deli section uncovered. (I have a picture attached) Lastly, all the employees looked miserable. There's no customer service and then they get surprised when you don't leave them a tip. Im a patient person with lots of food service experience so I understand things can get busy but there was just no love or effort being put in. The bagel itself was great! Fresh bagels with a very good variety of flavors and the best flavors of cream cheese. This is the only place I get bagels, even though I have to travel some distance. I especially enjoy the seasonal bagels and seasonal cream cheese. I usually get 2 dozen at a time but my next visit, I'll be getting 3 dozen. I freeze most of them and when they're defrosted at room temperature, they're just as good as fresh. This place is always packed and so make it a point to get there early. read more

Honestly I was really in the mood for a breakfast sandwich so when I left Tractor Supply I looked up places nearby for a breakfast sandwich. When I first walked in I saw their line of six microwaves on the wall. I ordered a Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese on a plain bagel. The egg and the ham were microwaved and then the entire thing was microwaved to melt the cheese. Who does that? If I wanted that I would've went to Wawa. Honestly, the sandwich wasn't any better than Wawa! I bought a dozen bagels and a chocolate milk and the total was $48! Real bagel shops in NJ that actually grille the eggs and ham are way better. Bagels are tasty. Not too hard or soft. A little on the flat side but still good. Beside the usual choice of bagels they also offer other variations. Kudos for that. My only gripe is THEY USE MICROWAVES. I didn't see a grill....but did see *SEVERAL* microwaves. They should really invest in a kitchen grill. First time coming here, wanted to try the jalapeno cheddar bagel, but it was sold out at 10:30am. Got a fresh plain bagel with veggie cream cheese instead. The veggie cream cheese was good. I like that they do not apply a thick amount of cream cheese on bagel. The plain bagel was ok. Hopefully next time I come back they have the jalapeno cheddar. Got the frozen salted caramel coffee as well. It's extremely sweet. If you like your coffee sweet, I guess that would do it for you. read more

This place has good bagels and customer service. They have a nice variety of sandwiches always available as well as your standard egg variants (eggs are microwaved). But none of those are the issue with this place, because the main issue is the FLOW. The layout of this location is really bad, and leads to the attached photo every time they have multiple customers. Their current process is: take order, leave to make order while you wait at the counter, then pay when its ready. This process backs everyone up and makes it feel like the line never moves. Also: they have a pickup counter at the "end" of their service counter. But they use it for the coffee machine. This place is just being managed/setup very poorly. A couple of design changes could help them move the line much more quickly, and a small flat top would enable them to skip the wait(and visual) of 60 seconds it takes to microwave your eggs and run the bagel through the toaster oven. If you like good bagel sandwiches, and don't mind waiting an unnecessary amount of time to get it, then this will be your jam! read more
