The wash cycle broke off my side mirror. When I brought it to attention of the staff, they told me there was a sign off to side saying they were not responsible for any damage to my vehicle during the wash. If you have a sign like that, it makes me wonder how many other people have had their vehicles damaged. I'd stay away. It's $5 for the basic wash, then it's $8 if you include wheels, and so on the price goes up. For five bucks, it's not a bad deal at all (plus, you get a free car wash after purchasing five). There's a very similar car wash place called Wash Wizard down the road, and they charge $8 for the basic wash (plus, at wash wizard you have to purchase 8 car washes before you get one free). This place is my go to for quick wash and "free" vacuum of my car when I do not feel like paying extra for detail. The employees are always so nice and helpful with guiding my car on the conveyor belt for car wash. My car comes out looking sparkly clean and I am happy! I do wish the vacuum held little bit more suction but it got the job done. I will visit again as I was presented with $8.00 off my next car wash, score! Tip.. First the good new: My car is clean. I wanted to remove the dust before a long drive to Cali -- sounds weird, but I hate being in a dusty car. The person directing cars into the wash was very impatient. I had never been to this establishment and the procedure was different from the drive through washes I'd been to in the past AND --- I'm not a dumb person. The attendant had me roll down the window and pointed to the sign which said, "no brakes," "neutral." Duh! That's what was happening in my car. He then knocks on the window and tells me not to turn the wheel, (Um, well, maybe I used a bit of my driving instinct and turned the wheel a tiny bit...) Now that I work in this area, I find it a necessity to wash my truck daily due to the overwhelming number of birds that drop their little white terd bombs all over my hood. The wash equipment here always has done a great job bringing a nice shine from my exterior. For $5, you can get a good washing and an under-carriage rinse down. They have free vacuums for us to use which was nice. They also gave us a free car air freshener which was nice! I think I'd come here if I was desperate for a wash (which I was) but I'm not sure if I'd come on a regular basis. The guys that run this place are terrible. Multiple bad experiences with them. They are always rude and act like they dont want you there. Today I took my car that had bird poop on it, I asked if it doesn't come off (from experience I know their machine doesn't usually get everything on the first run), could I run the car through the wash again, he rudely said I'd have to pay the full price again- sure enough after the wash there was still bird poop in multiple spots- waste of money. BUT for $5 for a quick decent carwash is not bad, unless your lazy and hate putting in a lil work yourself. Upon arrival, which btw you can't get into off of University. Entrance is on Priest, I always forget that. Once in you're greeted by an employee. Which I appreciate since I wouldn't know what to do w the Yelp coupon at a machine. I like that they don't solely rely on a machine to assist and take your money, even though they are a cheaper carwash. The wash its self is eh. It doesn't quit get all the dirt off, but for $5 it's good. Since I was a kid I've loved going thru the carwash while in my car. Then once your car is spit out, make your way to the vacuums. Here you will make use of yourself and vacuum your own car, which I like cuz nobody know what spots to hit better than me. However Every time I have gone an employee makes his/her way over to me while I'm vacuuming and asks if they can help. Usually I decline but they do something helpful anyway like windex my windshield or spray off excess water. As long as the Yelp upgrade is offered, or I'm in the area, or need a cheap quick wash and a vacuum I will return to this spot. read more

The wash hardly cleaned my car (car is only a few weeks old and not very dirty), the vacuums were not great. The part that frustrated me the most was that the staff were not wearing masks. One guy came right up to my window to hand me some stuff - maskless. I was wearing a mask, but as we know, my mask protects him, his mask should have been there to protect me. Super frustrating considering we are several months into a global pandemic and entering a quickly worsening wave. I had been there a few times with my brand new truck. No problems. Last week as I am drying my truck I notice two big scratches on my driver side mirror. I spoke with the worker and he said could have happened there. I left my name and number for the owner to call me. No call. I show up a few days later and talk to the owner. He immediately starts denying that anything like that could happen there. He offers to walk me through the wash and half way down we see commercial strap downs with big metal hooks on the end. I took my new 2015 KIA through the wash yesterday and when I got home I found that my rear light lens was popped off! The glue was broken. I have only owned this car for a month. The prev. owner (via Carfax) only owned it for 10 months before selling it to the dealership so it's still very much a new vehicle. I ordered the most expensive package. Upon returning to the car wash we politely asked the manager if they had come across a tail light lens on the ground in their vicinity. The manager walked into the stall and came out holding the lens. My husband (calmly -mind you) asked if we could have a business card and the manager told us he wasn't responsible for the damage, that my (NEW) car was in bad condition before I rolled it in, and refused to help us. Their disclaimer sign (as is on most washes) stated to be aware that their not liable for damages to anything sticking out (like antenna, side mirrors, racks etc.) But nowhere does it state light lenses, but he STILL REFUSED to accept responsibility! I think what gets to me the most is the false accusations that my car was crappy and that my family was being racist towards the manager. I went to this car wash today after work since it was on the way home. Attendant was quick and helped me select what I needed. The cat wash was also quick and got most of the dirt off of my car from the previous rain. However, the machines are aggressive. It bent my antenna on my roof and I wished that the attendant would have alerted me to put it down. Secondly, my front window trim blew off, but thankfully the attendant was able to find it in the car wash. read more

I have been looking everywhere for a drive through automatic car wash that sprays up under the car. My breaks were screeching really bad and my mechanic said it was because they were dirty and that an underbelly wash would fix it, but I just couldn't find anywhere that did it! Well 3 minute car wash does! It is part of the $8 package and was seriously so much fun to get. I've always loved drive through car washes and this one is one of the more enjoyable ones because of the big round brushes. The attendant was really sweet. He was very smiley and friendly and helped me pick which wash I needed for it to get under my car. He helped me line up with the belt that pushed me through and was just generally helpful and pleasant. I had to drive a ways to get here but I WILL be coming back the next time I need a wash. I had a coupon that was presented to me upon buying a more expensive package during a previous visit to this car wash. The male staff would not honor the coupon when I brought it back to use, and stated it expired 10 days after purchase. However, the previous male staff stated it did not expire and it states no where on the coupon that the coupon expires. After asking if he would be willing to honor the coupon for a basic car wash since I drove out of my way to get my car wash at this specific car wash to use this specific coupon, he said no and that I needed to back up or purchase another car wash. There were four cars behind me and I could not back up. I asked him to please help ask the cars behind me to back up and he went to do that, but realized that would inconvenience too many people, and told me to drive through the car wash while it was not running instead. So instead of honoring a coupon with no expiration date and for which I purchased an upgraded package to get the coupon, he rather attempt to inconvenience four other customers and humiliate a regular customer. My daughter and I took her car through the 3 Minute Car Wash in Tempe. Afterwards we pulled into a stall to vacuum/clean interior of the car. After we got out of the car to begin cleaning, we noticed large bird crap still on the hood of her car. Keep in mind we bought the second highest car wash available and as a student you are supposed to get upgraded to the top level, which didn't happen. Once the inside was cleaned we got back in the line to have the car washed again and properly this time. When the guy came out to assist us, I pointed to the crap and him it didn't get cleaned and I wanted the car to go through the wash again. He nodded his head and I got back in the car. He then grabbed a dash cloth and started scrubbing the bird crap off with the cloth on her brand new car!! Who does that! We were yelling and honking the horn for him to stop. This is so unacceptable! When we called to get our money back, it was a recording saying we needed to send a text message. Text messages were sent and still no response! I decided to stop by when I got off work and that was the best decision I made all day! Super friendly staff. I pulled up and the guy asked me which wash I wanted (I got the $10 one) and then swiped my card for me and handed me a dash wipe and a scent strip. I went through the wash and pulled into one of the spaces to dry my car and throw trash away. Another employee came up to me as I was getting ready to leave and said my car didn't get clean enough the first time and he offered to let me go through again for FREE! Of course I couldn't turn that down. When I got up there again he thoroughly sprayed my car and then personally scrubbed my car. I have NEVER had someone do that for me at a drive through wash!! I am a monthly pass customer so I thought this was weird since it paid for that in my package. I was just planning on getting and outer wash but now I had to pull in to stop at vacuums. He immediately comes to my door and I open it up hoping he is going to give me my towel & freshener. He starts yelling at me "How much you pay" How much you pay". Maybe if he didnt have both ear buds in listening to music he would understand he is yelling this at me. I told him a couple times I didnt know since they automatically charge my card on file but I know I ordered the package with air-freshener (obviously the pricing signs are in the vacuum area). He then says towels are only for paying customer not plan customers. He then turns to walk away and with this evil smile just giving me the towel and not the air-freshener. At this point I asked for the air-freshener but realized I could no longer be a customer here. I ask for the email so can cancel the service because when I signed up you had to give 30 days notice. He now starts to aggressively argue with me. I ask for the paperwork so I can verify that I dont receive a towel because that what his boss told him and cancel my subscription. He doesnt want to give me the paperwork he just gives me a card. Now he is super angry and goes to my car to write down my # to cancel. But in the paperwork I signed I recall I need to email Brad to cancel, he is trying to get me to get stuck with another monthly or 2 charge but I remember the cancellation policy. I was involved in car was accident on September 26, 2015. I was in the "3 minute" carwash formerly called "Hog wash express" carwash located at 1406 W University Dr Tempe, AZ 85281 and as my car was moving along I heard yelling and then my car jerked as if it bumped into something. The car wash was then shut off and when the suds started to drain down from my front windshield my car was extremely close to a huge black truck that was in the car wash when I entered. I saw and heard the employee (later found out to be Mario) say "what happened?" to the driver of the truck in front of me. I'm not sure what happened after this but the truck left the carwash while it was still off. The carwash was then turned back on and I finished my wash. When I exited I parked in a vacuum spot and then immediately checked for damage and sure enough there was a dent on my bumper. I looked at the truck that was in front of me and he had a metal ball bearing. I ran and got the first employee I found named Mario who I assumed was the manager. I showed him the dent and he said "Let me go pull the video" he walked a few feet then he stopped turned around came back and said "This didn't happen here" which he continued to repeat over and over. I argued with him for about 5 minutes. I argued why the carwash was turned off and why was I so close to truck if this didn't happen here, I argued why my brand new 2015 vehicle came in to the carwash without the dent and how all of a sudden a dent appeared. He kept arguing with me so I told him to just leave me alone. I called the Tempe police they told me that it was a civil matter on private property but that they can still come but that the officer would tell me the same thing that she was telling me over the phone. I then took a photo of the black truck's license plate for evidence and left. I contacted my insurance company. The carwash AND the black truck's owner refused to cooperate with my insurance company. By the way - deleting my post the first time around shows guilt. Might as well let people see what kind of a business you run! To the guy to replied to me...not sure why someone would go through all of this trouble to make this up. Also not sure how if you really reviewed the video (which we both know that you didn't) you miraculously didn't see the accident. So I guess that you didn't see your employee turn off the car wash either huh?! Absolutely despicable how you guys still to this day are trying to ensenuate that I'm being dishonest and trying to make me look bad after I gave you my hard earned money (albeit $6) to perform a service on my car...then I come out of it with the short end of the stick. Apparently if you get the $6 wash, your car does not get fully dry, or really even close to dry. I told one of the employees that I thought their blowers didn't work very well and he asked me which wash I had purchased. I told him the $6 one and he said "that's why". I didn't see anything on their signs saying your car comes out still very wet if you don't upgrade. It seemed like every other place where the upgrades involve extra soap or tire washes etc, but apparently not. Don't do it!!** Went with my sister to wash her car and when we got home the driver side of her car had this purple sticky stuff on it and the handles on all 4 of the doors were scratched. They've lost a loyal customer. This used to be my go-to car wash because it was convenient for my weekly commute. But after requesting to cancel my monthly membership, I was charged another month the following month of $19.99. When I went there to explain what happened and to make sure I wouldn't get charged again, the attendant went into my account to cancel my membership. I asked him when could I expect a refund, then he went into the cash box and handed me $14. Needless to say, it was a slap in the face considering they owed me $19.99. The wash itself is pretty good. There is water spotting that has to be hand dried after you leave but not that big a deal. However the "thanxs" program used to reward frequent customers is abysmal which is why the 3 star review. You are supposed to get 1 free wash after hitting a certain ammount of visits but it's never worked. I get an email saying "the next wash is on us" but after wards the funds do not get reimbursed and there is no way to contact them. The owners of this establishment (Goodyear) need to get this worked out. They need to support their customers. when and if that happens I'll give them a better rating. read more
