I really want to like this place but I just can't. I've come now on four occasions, done two full serve washes, a detail and a self-serve wash. The full serve washes are okay, they don't really do the interior well at all. The detail was subpar, in fact they left wax on my rear emblem of my truck and have seemingly damaged it forever (these were emblems I purchased after I bought my truck so money wasted now). I thought that hey, you get what you pay for letting a car wash like this detail your truck so I was just going to elect to use their self-serve option next time. I did the platinum with the self-serve (highest option) and my lord what a mistake. I used to go to Clean Freak for self-serve (right next door) and I'm definitely going back, even if you have to wait ten minutes for a vacuum. This place left so much soap in the bed of my truck it was ridiculous. I had to vacuum the soap out - which was an ordeal because almost every vacuum I tried was non-operable. This place really could be something great but they don't really do anything even average. I'm not coming back after this fourth try. It's a shame because I tried different services to find that niche and just couldn't. read more

I was at Mr. Zs today and I was surprised that to go through the car wash you have to take your own antenna off. Jacksons always just took care of that for me. I ended up washing my Jeep by hand even though I paid for a wash. Vacuums are great and the area to dry cars is nice and shady. I wish they had more flexible options, no packages for full service and no ala cart options like the ability to pay just for window cleaning or mats. It's a shame because this area is right by the airport and I need something close for my car business. This is not it though, will continue the search! read more

This is the worst car wash I've ever been to. A two year old could've wiped my car off better. Pay for the ultimate service and my car had nothing but dirt I had leather conditioning on the screen in my Mercedes E63 2021. I had tire dressing on my rims leather conditioning still stuck to my dashboard without being white in. And then when I asked for a refund oh my bad it's the weekend and I had to argue with the guy to refund and then he only paid 30 when it was $40 plus tax. Horrible horrible fucking service. After coming here dozens of times, I can't frequent this business any longer for a full service wash. I pay $30-35 for full service and leave with a car marked with dirt, debris, and water spots. My front grill is never wiped down and has water spots all over. Today it took 45 min to wash my car and there was still bird poop markings on my doors and windows, the grill was covered with water spots, and only 3/4th of my dash was ArmorAll-ed. I wouldn't be so particular if the price wasn't so steep, if you are going to have low service standards then lower your prices. read more

Okay, I wanted to really get a feel for this car wash before reviewing it, I wanted to see if they could be consistent, and so far they've been great. I drive a small convertible with lots of hard to reach areas and they've always managed to return my car as clean as the day I got it. They offer an Express carwash that is great, but from my personal experience, the full carwash is the best with that being said if you're in a hurry just go with the express, the employees are detailed and work hard for their tips, so grab a book and a coffee, and allow them to do their job. read more

Manager/owner came out yelling today that I was providing a counterfeit pre-paid card for hand wash. Never introduced himself, never explained. I am a professional myself, working in health care during a pandemic and also a small business owner. My family owns and runs a small business back East for over 40 years. I would never treat a human this way. I have money to pay for a car wash Mr. Z, I just wanted you to honor the money I spent last year on buying a packet of car washes for a discounted price on Black Friday--there is no expiration on these and a gentleman sold them to me at your place of business, which you deny. You cashiers were also kind to accept the card today in your absence, yet you feel you can chase me down and yell and blame me. I also tip the men and women working there as much or more than what I pay for the car wash as they work their butts off in all kinds of weather. The manager/owner had them stop washing my car in the middle of the service. Never again. Please don't give this man the time of day. I hope he doesn't treat his family and co-workers that way. For $30 he lost a customer that had been coming there almost every other month for 3 years. The service industry is not your best line of work Mr. Z. This joint makes a full service carwash pretty fun. They offer you a Complementary coffee/fountain drink while you wait!! I thought nothing in America was free till we came here. The customer service is friendly and helpful the service gentleman Vinny is your guy when you have any questions about getting a better cleaning/ or even full details. Quality of the wash was very good. Arrived on a Monday morning at 8:15 and I was the only customer here. 4 employees on duty, the full service "platinum" wash was $15. The layout of the carwash is very confusing... You drive in and nobody immediately meets you. They run the car through the auto washer and then around 25 minutes later your car is done. I can't imagine how long the wait would be if they were busy. My biggest issue is that it's not a good thought out process and it takes a really long time for what's offered. Update: after all was said and done, 43 minutes for a car wash. Exterior looks great, interior had far too much glossy cleaner applied which left streaks all over the dash and trim. read more

Jeez. I have been a patron of this carwash since they first opened. I was previously going to the car wash next door and found the machinery of this carwash does a better job. Unfortunately, I recently found myself getting a new vehicle. I had let my monthly pass lapse while I was traveling out of state. I got back in town, purchased a new vehicle and signed up for another monthly pass. when I had first signed up, I attributed it to a lack of training because they were brand-new. it was a little confusing trying to figure out how to get the monthly pass and it took 20 to 30 minutes. Today, I went in there thinking it was going to be smooth sailing and a fast trip. I had already purchased the monthly pass at the kiosk yesterday. If I had known it was going to take 30+ minutes to get the tag on my windshield, I would've just gone next-door. unfortunately, it seems like they don't train their staff well enough to perform their jobs. It's kind of ridiculous. if it were not for their brand-new machinery doing a good job washing, I would've rated lower. The only thing they have going for them is a good car wash. read more

Mehhhhhhhhh these guys were nice, but I paid for a full detail and I ended up with a soaking wet, moldy, stinky car. My seats were soaked for 4 days after the detail. My first experience at this car wash was great! Jamaal was the first to help me. He was knowledgeable and had excellent customer service. I was impressed with my car wash/detailed inside the car. I ended up recommending this car wash to a close friend. We took her car to get the same package deal. When we arrived another gentleman named Larry helped us. He was trying to sell my friend a $120 package deal to her Scion TC. She made it clear she was not trying to pay more than $80. I asked if the Ultimate package deal would do the same job as it did for my car. This is when Larry went off and started yelling at us and got into our faces. Stating he was the car wash manager, he knew what was right for the car and we had no idea what we wanted or what were talking about. After the chaos he tried to give us a "deal" for two car washes that summed up to $120. We told him again she was not going to pay that much. Even then he made the invoice for $120. When my friend tried paying inside with Jamaal the total came to $120 again. We told Jamaal we were not going to pay that and that Larry kept changing the price. Larry came inside and went off a second time. Finally, she said I'll take the $35 wash and thats it. He got so upset he started to be dramatic and make a fuss. He then stepped into my friends face telling her "this shouldn't have been so confusing" and walked away. This was an embarrassment for the company. I do not recommended anyone to speak to Larry. If you need help talk to Jamaal or any other employee. This should have not escalated as much as it did. I later found out that the general manager's name is Rich Drapper. Larry needs to learn how to talk to customers, stop saying he's the general manager and put his ego down. read more

Employees are very courteous, quick and happy to serve you. Rich is the best! I've been a part of clean freak car wash for two years before joining here about six months ago. I arrived this afternoon on Weds July 18 There was no attendant at all so I waited awhile but no one came to help me order . I went through the express line self pay and paid $13 Right before entering the wash, I realized it was only an outside wash so then I asked a lead worker if I could still get a full service wipe down inside and vacuum inside and explained I had waited and would still pay a bit more for a full service wash . He said he would take care of it for me . And I offered to tip the worker guys $10 which I gave them . Everything was awesome until LARRY ( a shift manager ) showed up requesting my ticket for full service . I tried to explain what happened and he raised his voice at me ignoring my conversation . I then told him I didn't want to talk to him and that I had shown my receipt already . He continued to harass me arguing . I requested the store manager number I left him and message and am waiting on a call back . If you go to this wash at all cost avoid LARRY . As I left , He made several rude faces at me referencing my weight by puffing up his cheeks and flapping his arms referencing my arm fat . I also was told he has "regular customer complaints weekly for being rude and he should be fired " by 2 other employees AND he was mad because he gets commission off full service washes . I went here for the first time today and at first quick glance I thought they did a good job but then as I was driving I realized the smudges and suction cup marks from the sun shade were still there. I used a napkin and water to see how easily it would come off and it worked...aka they didn't wash the inside of the windows at all...$19 for what? Over the past few years there has been a surge in the number of new car washes in and around Arcadia. Most do about as good of a job as a garden hose or a heavy rain. Mr. Z's, however, is really different. The place is clean (yes, it's new, but there is a difference between new and clean). And the staff is really friendly. I had not had my car washed in a while and I know it sounds cliche but after the wash at Mr. Z's it really looked like new. The facility is HUGE, with multiple gas pumps, etc. But they were smart to put the car wash in the back away from all the traffic. It's easy in and out and the waiting area is large so people are not sitting on top of one another. With a 72-hour rain guarantee and a clean, comfortable waiting area (did I mention it is huge) Mr. Z's is a great place to go for a really great car wash. read more
