I didn't take a lot of pictures because I was just trying to enjoy being out of the house. There was 3 of us and it was our first time being there and I had never heard of it until my friend said she found them on instagram. The place is really cute and super tiny compared to a lot of wineries in madera. It has a cute bar area with really nice chairs and a little area to buy books and market items. We sat down at the bar area and didn't get greeted right away it took a few minutes it seemed like they were overwhelmed with all of the people there. We wanted 3 tastings in the hopes to have a charcuterie board and get a bottle of wine if we liked one of them. While sitting there a couple who had a baby sat at the bar and both were drinking wine (sorry I don't think it's okay) I understand parents need a day or night out (I'm a parent too) but babies don't belong at wineries or breweries. It's just how I feel. While sitting at the bar area the owners and whoever else the ladies were to the establishment didn't have it together they all kept overstepping one another and they looked and seemed overwhelmed. And they kept talking about it in front of us. I found out the new owners have only been there 6 months. So I understand they're still trying to figure things out. But it did take awhile to get a new pour, so I finally asked after 3 tastings if we can buy a charcuterie board, one of the ladies told me they don't have anymore they were sold out. We were bummed because we were hungry, and they didn't have any snacks to buy. So we were on our last tastings and out of nowhere a board appears and was now being bought from the couple with the baby who also got to sample the slushie they serve as well. We left unhappy and not understanding why they just lied to us about not having a board for sale. The wine was great but how we were treated compared to the people around us not so much. It's so unfortunate to like something so much but the service that's given to you and different for others is not okay. I love trying new places but sometimes it's not what's it's cut out to be. read more

I recently went to Three Oaks Vineyard for one of their yoga events, and it was such a cute and different experience! A friend invited me. I had never even heard of this place until she got us tickets. When we got there, I was surprised at how spacious it felt for a smaller spot in Clovis. Parking is a little limited, but not too bad. When you check in for yoga, they give you a glass of wine (love that), and then you go find a spot in their cute outdoor yard. The whole vibe is very relaxed and homey. Just a heads up though... this is a working farm, so there are chickens roaming around and two kittens walking around as well (and one is very friendly). Something to keep in mind depending on your comfort level. The yoga class was about an hour and it was really nice being outside in the fresh air. Super peaceful. After yoga, they had appetizers and wine tasting. The appetizers are limited, so once they're gone, they're gone. There was this chicken appetizer that was SO good, but it ran out really fast. They also opened a few different wines for tasting, and their wine is really good! After everything, you can hang out, have some wine, and enjoy the space. The owner mentioned they also host bridal showers and baby showers, which makes sense because it's such a cute, intimate spot. Overall, it's a really nice local spot if you're looking for something in town and don't want to drive all the way out to Paso Robles. Definitely worth checking out! read more

This place is an absolute hidden gem! I have my fair share of experience in hospitality and their team was incredible! The moment you turn into the winery, you feel like you're in another place. The ambiance is perfect, the hosts pay attention to all of the details, the grounds were taken care of and it was super family friendly. They have SO many different wines to try and they partner with this incredible local charcuterie business (make sure to order/reserve your board ahead of time). I loved my experience so much, that I decided to become a wine member and I've been there 3-4x already in the last 2 months. A fun, chill spot to share a bottle of wine with friends or family My first experience here was great! I went for a tasting with my mom and sister and we loved it. We really enjoyed each of the wines but definitely had some favorites we'll be back for. The owners were very personable and friendly. They were so kind to tell us their story and a little bit about how they go about running their winery on the property. Highly recommend purchasing a fresh loaf of bread when booking your reservation, a perfect little snack for the occasion. The property is very pretty. Such a charming little family-owned winery! The smaller, mom-and-pop atmosphere is truly what makes this place so special. The property is beautifully set up with chickens and cats roaming around, which made it feel cozy, relaxing, and welcoming. We visited with 3 kids, and it was incredibly family-friendly they even had board games available to keep the kids (and the adults lol) entertained while we enjoyed our tasting. We didn't have a reservation, but the staff was so accommodating and happily fit us in for 4 tastings while explaining how everything worked. Finally made it out to try 3 Oaks since the new owners! My husband and I were very impressed. It was a beautiful day. They have a beautiful bar with comfy bar stools. The staff were all excellent and soo nice! One even brought her own child's toy out from her car for my son to play with! Just as Clovis has been our home, 3 Oaks Vineyard is such a comfy, relaxing, cozy environment that brings a welcoming ambiance, where you feel just at home. I absolutely love that. It is family friendly, and to be frank You don't get enough of that these days, it seems everywhere you look other places are wanting to keep families apart, but not here, and I love that. This is such an amazing place to do it. It couldn't have come better with two wonderful owners who, you can tell just pour their hearts into this place. You'll know exactly what I mean as soon as you go down their driveway. Under new ownership the husband and wife team have poured their heart and soul into this place just as the old owners did. It is a hidden gem in Clovis and there is nothing else is like it. Beautiful scenery, very warm and inviting but quaint. This is not a huge winery like you will find in Paso or the Madera Wine Trail but that's what make's it special! That being said, if you are wanting to stop in on a whim that should be considered. Charcuterie boards are first come first serve or can be preordered- highly recommend. Service is great. We came here for a mom's night out & had the best time! The rain in the forecast stressed us out but the owner was so sweet and saved our large group a table under the covered area. We preordered the large picnic charcuterie boards in advance like she states on her IG & ordered pizza from the food truck that was there that night. Ambiance: It is one of the prettier places in Fresno County. Would be great for an intimate gathering of 50ish people or you can book a date night. Barn was closed so I don't know how it looks inside, but outside was rustic and gorgeous. Great photo opps. The grass area where the party was held, was pretty, vineyard was gorgeous. I felt like I was in Paso Robles because when you look up, there are no buildings or city in sight. If you are looking for a place for an intimate wedding or for a rustic party, this place is it. They close down the winery for private parties, but you can also book a local date night here when they are open. Service: The owner and his wife seemed nice. I asked the owner for a business card in the event I wanted to have an event there. Wine- Some of the better wines I've had around Fresno and Madera. I'm a cabernet sauvignon girl and loved their cab. It had a good tart and mild sweetness to it. When I say sweet, I do not mean like a moscato which is a dessert wine. Also, this cab did not give me a migraine which is a plus. I also had one of their whites called unwind. It was refreshing for the summer and again had a good tart to it. Food: I don't believe my friends ordered food from them. They were able to get an outside caterer and were allowed to bring their own drinks in a cooler. My family and I had a fantastic time wine tasting at 3 oaks! Every wine we tried was delicious. Our tasting was lead by the vintner himself, who was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Don't miss out on their bread boards if you can get them- the sourdough focaccia was incredible! It really feels like your way out of the city, and the space was peaceful getting to sit underneath the shady trees. Had a great tasting experience two Saturdays ago. This is a small and 100% local winery-all the grapes are grown on the property or very near by. The wine maker took time to explain each wine and the meanings behind each wine's name. One of the wines was paired with little chocolate cookies which brought out that wine's flavor even more. The tasting is outside on tables underneath trees and there are chickens and a rooster walking around-so cute! Very nice experience overall. read more
