I had never heard of this winery. It's cozy inside but also a lot of room outside. The lady serving wine was really nice and had a great sense of humor. The wine was good! I'm not really a red wine person but the Barbera was really good. My son came to visit and he loved it. Definitely check this winery out.

Had a great wine tasting experience here on a Friday afternoon an hour before closing and had the BEST time chatting up Kim and Tony. Learned about their story and had the most wonderful time getting to know them and the winery. The location was very lovely and they were getting the area prepped for a wedding. I can see this being an amazing venue, everything is just so serene. What prompted me to leave a review, is their wine. Wow wow wow. Everything was so tasty! I'm usually not a chardonnay person but theirs was so flavorful and the taste profile was just so clean. Our favorite was definitely the Alicante Bouschet. It was a full-bodied, juicy... the flavor just went so well together. We loved it so much we ended up getting a few bottles and having Tony help us ship them home. Can't wait for the box to get here so we can enjoy them with our favorite home cooked meal. I'll def be back, never felt so connected with someone that I HAD to take a photo with but I did with Kim. Thank you to Kim and Tony for taking care of us, we'll make this a destination visit next time. XO!

Sherry and I are by the birdstone entrance.

It only cost $5.00 for a flight every Sunday. What a great bargain. Sandra, was amazing hoisted. The Chardonnay and they're Pino, noir was very. Nice little of how the brand name came about. I recommend this location.

Bought two bottles to bring to Oklahoma.

The wine tasting was $15/person and a discount if you buy a bottle - our group bought 4 bottles! There were 13 different varieties to taste. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the greenery and people watching. Highly recommend packing a basket of goodies to enjoy with your samples (cheese/crackers/grapes, etc.). They do offer a variety of snacks for purchase in their on-site cooler there as well. My beer loving father in law completely enjoyed the entire experience! Service and explanations of each wine offered by Travis was supremely helpful!

Had a great wine tasting experience here on a Saturday afternoon. Very friendly greeting as soon as you walk in. $12 tasting (waived if you buy a bottle). Great tasting that included white and red wines. I enjoyed them all, we bought a Malbec since that is my favorite. Nice air conditioned space and tons of outdoor space with tables and shaded areas. They also have chips and a few other snacks and beverages for sale. Definitely would love to come back soon.

I had the opportunity to go to Birdstone Winery for the Madera Wine Crawl the weekend before Valentines Day 2020. This was the second to last winery we went to for the day. We checked in and saw Roma's Italian Food truck happily taking food orders for the Winos out there. The grounds were so beautiful! The layout brought me back to my Los Angeles days where I helped plan a multi millionaire fundraiser with high end celebrities; you can tell I really enjoyed myself here. Definitely on my list of favorite wineries I explored that weekend. The staff and vendors were fun and they had unique goods and their wine crackers were shaped like hearts!! Which makes this winery so unique. I was not a fan of the wines as they were very dry, my preference is sweet and tangy wines. It was very lively and so pretty and spacious at this winery so green as well!! I recommend this be the first stop of the wine trails so you can sip, relax and enjoy what this gorgeous winery has to offer.

OK y'all, get ready for a ride. We found Birdstone by serendipity when Toca Madera down the road so royally messed up our wedding reservation that they ended up refunding our deposit after having it booked for 6 months. This was because they had booked our wedding for what we later found out was a wine trail weekend. We only found this out because the employees at Birdstone noticed our date and had heard our story of how we hadn't been able to get ahold of the coordinator for some time (she had apparently been fired). And we were only at Birdstone that day because Toca's tasting room wasn't open when it was supposed to be, so we moseyed on down the road and found a better winery. Needless to say, we took our refund right over to Birdstone and booked our wedding for November 2019. In addition to having better service, we also saved over $1000 on the rental fee. We became wine club members that day as well and we haven't regretted it once. The wine is very tasty and the staff is wonderful. Kim, the owner, is usually there, and she personally oversaw my wedding bar. I am truly happy with my venue choice, it was beautiful, the wine was affordable and delicious, and the staff was wonderful. We used their covered patio for the reception since we only had 55 guests, and that saved us a bunch of money on a dance floor. They also let us use a ton of wine barrels for decoration and tables, which fit in greatly with our look. I can't say enough good things about this winery. They saved the day, literally letting us have our preferred date regardless of wine trail weekend, and we had a great wedding there.

Best wine in Madera !!! This is great winery and the people here are the best! Always happy and have smiles on their face! Beautiful location and they take pride in what they do!!

I'm not a big wine fan so usually I'll do the slurp thing to taste the notes or take a sip or two and then pass my glass off to my husband, rather than dumping it. I've been to umpteen wineries around California, the US and internationally. This winery gives, hands down, the stingiest pours I've ever experienced. I could maybe get two sips out of a pour. And yet this tasting was $15 for 4 wines, but if you're a party of 6 or more, the fee for the same tasting goes up to $20 per person! Since when does pouring maybe a half ounce into more glasses warrant everyone in the party being charged $5 more bucks a piece? It feels stingy. I went to 4 wineries in the same weekend I visited Crū. J. Lohr in Paso charges $20 per person for 6 generous pours and a free pencil with herb seeds to plant at home. Eberle Winery in Paso does free tastings and yet have generous pours, free bottled water and a free tour of the underground storage facility. Quady in Madera charges $5 per person for a tasting and not only were the pours generous, we tried 7 wines, got to double back on our favorites before we ordered a half case. The server was nice and personable. I have no complaints about her. Overall it doesn't feel like a fun wine tasting experience when it seems like they're rationing their wine. While not the end of the world, there isn't much of a view for the outdoor patio because the tasting room patio is between the building and a fence with a road on the other side. If you're wanting to see vineyards while you sip, this isn't the spot for you. There was also a couple with a toddler at a table - with an iPad, playing a video outloud without headphones - while the parents were wine tasting inside, so just know that kids are allowed if that matters to you. Been drinking their wines for at least 15 years. They did not disappoint!! After I was done fangirling the tasting began. I believe we started with the Essensia. I have had the Essensia before however, I didn't remember it tasting this good! We only get the moscatos in our local stores you have to order the Essencia and the Elysium. The Essencia tasted like fruit and honey. I tried Elysium next and it was delicious. I tried the Lucky Day variety and I wasn't really a fan. That extra percent of alcohol through me. I tasted the moscatos because why not. I had the red, white, black & rosé they were all delicious I had them before so I knew I loved them. I joined the club and had 6 bottles shipped back home. It was a great time for the $10 tasting. It is worth the trip if you like dessert wines and especially if you love Quady like I do. I don't want to leave out the olive oils. We tasted the roasted garlic, a Mediterranean and another one I can't remember. I'll comeback. Those pics were taken with my husband's phone. The place is really cute and super tiny compared to a lot of wineries in madera. It has a cute bar area with really nice chairs and a little area to buy books and market items. We sat down at the bar area and didn't get greeted right away it took a few minutes it seemed like they were overwhelmed with all of the people there. We wanted 3 tastings in the hopes to have a charcuterie board and get a bottle of wine if we liked one of them. While sitting there a couple who had a baby sat at the bar and both were drinking wine (sorry I don't think it's okay) I understand parents need a day or night out (I'm a parent too) but babies don't belong at wineries or breweries. It's just how I feel. While sitting at the bar area the owners and whoever else the ladies were to the establishment didn't have it together they all kept overstepping one another and they looked and seemed overwhelmed. And they kept talking about it in front of us. I found out the new owners have only been there 6 months. So I understand they're still trying to figure things out. But it did take awhile to get a new pour, so I finally asked after 3 tastings if we can buy a charcuterie board, one of the ladies told me they don't have anymore they were sold out. We were bummed because we were hungry, and they didn't have any snacks to buy. So we were on our last tastings and out of nowhere a board appears and was now being bought from the couple with the baby who also got to sample the slushie they serve as well. We left unhappy and not understanding why they just lied to us about not having a board for sale. The wine was great but how we were treated compared to the people around us not so much. It's so unfortunate to like something so much but the service that's given to you and different for others is not okay. I love trying new places but sometimes it's not what's it's cut out to be.

I had never even heard of this place until she got us tickets. When we got there, I was surprised at how spacious it felt for a smaller spot in Clovis. Parking is a little limited, but not too bad. When you check in for yoga, they give you a glass of wine (love that), and then you go find a spot in their cute outdoor yard. The whole vibe is very relaxed and homey. Just a heads up though... this is a working farm, so there are chickens roaming around and two kittens walking around as well (and one is very friendly). Something to keep in mind depending on your comfort level. The yoga class was about an hour and it was really nice being outside in the fresh air. Super peaceful. After yoga, they had appetizers and wine tasting. The appetizers are limited, so once they're gone, they're gone. There was this chicken appetizer that was SO good, but it ran out really fast. They also opened a few different wines for tasting, and their wine is really good! After everything, you can hang out, have some wine, and enjoy the space. The owner mentioned they also host bridal showers and baby showers, which makes sense because it's such a cute, intimate spot. Overall, it's a really nice local spot if you're looking for something in town and don't want to drive all the way out to Paso Robles. Definitely worth checking out!
