Stopped in on a Friday night with a few friends. They had live music on this particular evening. They aren't usually open on Fridays, fyi. The winery is a beautiful open space with outdoor seating as well as some space inside. Wine prices are reasonable. We opted for the Orange Muscat as well as their sparkling wine. The gentleman who helped us recommended to mix the two. It was a great combo. Pizzas are available for sale as well. They're a little larger than a personal pizza, but I was able to finish it solo :) They have a dole whip type soft serve that pairs with their sparkling wine that's amazing. Definitely worth a try.

Ziveli Winery, Fresno, CA - December 6, 2025 We showed up at about 2 PM on a Saturday afternoon during the winery's Christmas celebration. There were lots of arts and crafts vendors there, and the parking lot was packed. Recognizing we might not have a spot to park, we parked out on the street to begin with. We walked in and saw the lovely vineyard grounds. There's a nice open patio area with nice lighting. They have a pizza kitchen and people were out front selling pies. It was very festive. We walked into the tasting room which was jam-packed. We told one of the wine pourers that we were with the Harvest Host. He directed us to be on the lookout for winery owner John, who was making the rounds greeting his guests. We got a couple flights of wine and sat down. Not long after, we spotted John behind the counter and went over to say hi to him. He is a super friendly and gracious host. He realized that the parking lot was pretty packed when we were there and told us that it would be clearing out a little later in the afternoon, so we did some wine tasting and chatted with John for about 15 or 20 minutes. We shared with John that we would be going to Croatia next May. He was super helpful in taking a look at our itinerary and giving us some feedback about things to be checking out while we're there. At about 4 PM, the parking lot cleared out and we pulled in our motorhome. It was a nice level spot looking out over the Vineyard. We had a very restful night's sleep. We definitely hope to come back again!

Another great Ziveli day! Music, wine and pizza... Jeffrey and Alicia are always knowledgeable and great hosts

Flight mainly white wines.

Had a flight the chard and frankovka were our favorite they grew was similar to the chard maybe a lighter taste that gave the chard the edge. Will be back for every away game Fresno state has

On May 5, 2024, recently attended with a group at the Ziveli Winery in Fresno. Recently new to the Central Valley area and first time at the Winery. Lack of parking available and there are dogs on the premises that walkaround inside and outside the Winery grounds. There is only food provided outside and in a food stand outside the Winery in which the prices are excessive for personal size pizzas. The staff was polite at times. The bathrooms could use some improvements as well. However, the outside grounds are breathtaking and good for a small group or an event. The drive was okay there was no traffic that time of day. The roads were in bad shape and requires some road improvements. As a military veteran and Central Valley resident I recommend the Winery grounds for your future event needs.

My second trip and disappointment once again trying to get a slushy. Arrived after an hour drive for a wine slushy. They didn't have them ready once again and said wait 30 minutes. We waited 45 minutes the winery was hot as hell. Was 102 degrees outside so not sure why they wouldn't have their most refreshing beverage ready. We usually order 4 to 6 of these. After a miserable 45 minutes in the heat we gave up and left as there was no signs of ice in the slushy machine. We were the only ones there with the heat can't imaging anyone would find it enjoyable. If it's summer I would pass for a location that has the proper AC to deal with the heat. It's a cute spot that we have enjoyed multiple times but probably won't return. It's just too far of a drive for repeat disappointment in my opinion.

This is our own charcuterie we took into Ziveli for tasting.

Love Ziveli. This cute little winery has everything you need to have a good night or day out. We have come here several times in groups and have always been greeted by the winery but also their cute dogs (makes our experience better). Their wine tasting is great and they also offer a flight which I would highly recommend. You can also take your own food (which we have also done). Highly recommend and if their pizza place is open don't miss out. Their page doesn't say they are open during the week but we made an actual appt and they were able to accommodate us Thank you Ziveli!

Definitely one of the better wineries in Madera! Cute, rustic vibe with a lot of space. Indoor and outdoor seating areas. Comfy couches inside and many picnic tables outside. Wine wasn't bad, also wasn't the best. The tasting is perfect, you get to choose 6 wines from their wine list for $10. They also have a wine slush option fir $10. I did both. Love the brick pizza addition outside. They come out quickly and baked to perfection. I would definitely recommend. Love the cute dogs on the property. They're so sweet and friendly. All around cute place!

LOVE this winery. They have a gorgeous venue with a barn style inside wine bar that has romantic lighting strung and plenty of seating out of the sun. Outside they have bench style seats with tables to enjoy in the sun or under the shade of their beautiful trees. There's also a few corn hole games set up for some fun! Not to mention their onsite Brick L'Oven is some of the best pizza in the valley and pairs soooo well with their scrumptious wine. Perfect for wine tasting with friends or if you're looking for a wedding venue for your special day.

My friends had been here before and raved about their brick oven pizza so we ordered a cheese pizza and Hawaiian style (cant remember the exact name). We ended up ordering a third of the Hawaiian since it was SO good! The cabernet was not my favorite but to each their own. I would definitely come back for the pizza and atmosphere! The grounds are beautiful and would great for hosting a small event.

This family run winery is always so fun to visit. Besides yummy wine, each child of the owners has a unique job. One makes pizza, one is selling merchandise, one is a cashier and one is the winemaker. It's wonderful to support our local winery!

Ziveli Winery is a cute winery located inside of a barn! I love how there are cute dogs inside that welcome you when you enter the winery. This place also is quite cheap! It's only $5 for 6 types of wine for tasting. The servers here are all super nice too. Would recommend anyone to go here!

Ziveli Wine Club! A must for any local Fresnans that enjoy GREAT tasting wines at a great rate!! Brick L'Oven pizza is so delicious!

Drive West on Shaw and turn right onto Biola Avenue. A wonderful experience awaits you. For ten dollars you can sample 5 wines. Each month those wines change. Bottles of wine range between 29 to 40 dollars. Great selection available. For ten dollars you can choose a great cigar to smoke outside; Cohibas, Diesel, Rocky Patel, Isla del Sol, the list goes on and on. Try one of their wine infused cigars for a new smoking experience. They also can host weddings and other events. Corn Hole is available each day as well. Large television inside to watch the games and a beautiful outdoor seating area. Many events occur such as Line Dancing, Dinner Murder Mysteries, Trivia Night and Chocolates and Cigar Night. If you have been to Ziveli yet, go this week. John Nale and Rhondi Nale, the owners are often in the tasting room pouring and interacting with guests. For a non-pretentious wine tasting experience this is the one for you!

I've been to wineries before but this is probably the best one I've been to yet. A friend rented…read moreout the place for a birthday. It was nice because driving into here they had a sign in the front saying closed for a private event. So we had the whole winery to ourselves, felt very intimate. 3 Oaks was super accommodating with all the cute customization. They had one wine bottle with a happy birthday sticker of my friend's name on it. There was a hanged chalk sign at the bar with a happy birthday message, and the wine tasting menu also had a happy birthday message on there with his name that we got to keep. The winery itself is medium size. It looks like it's someone's back yard because there was a house with a pool and the rest of the land is the vineyard. They had so many chickens walking around. Our host Chris, told us that we the head leader chicken was name Marshmallow which was so cute. You park in this rock lot and the walk to the winery which is very close. We got to sit under the shade during the sun light because our reservation was 6:30pm. Although, it was very hot to sit outside for the summer time. There were some ceiling fans to help us stay cool in the 100 degree weather. They offered ice cold water cups as well. We were able to bring our own food and cake for the event. They had so many different types of vineyards with signs on them. It was very pretty. The barn and the seating areas had a cute hang out charm to it. Chris was wonderful with his hosting skills and his service was above and beyond my expectations. He was very personable and nice. He helped us put the food out on the table, placed utensils around, and took a bunch of pictures for our group. He also was very informative about all the wines and ingredients. He was pretty funny knowing some random facts too. I enjoyed talking to him. He even gave us some tips about taking photos during the sunset for golden hour. My friend ended buying a bottle and I believe it was $32. All the wines tasted delicious. The unique flavors tasted rich. My favorite was the Yacamastu Tempranillo for red and 2023 Pammie Grigio for white. Too bad we couldn't taste Rosé wines cuz they were sold out. The tasting itself was $35/person which was not bad. It was my boyfriend's first time wine tasting and he enjoyed too. Bathrooms were nice and clean just very hot. Saw they have board games, nice lounge areas, and merch shop. It's nice that they hold even other events like yoga. I definitely would come back to this vineyard. I thought it was sweet that the owner requested for our group photos thank you!

There…read morewas 3 of us and it was our first time being there and I had never heard of it until my friend said she found them on instagram. The place is really cute and super tiny compared to a lot of wineries in madera. It has a cute bar area with really nice chairs and a little area to buy books and market items. We sat down at the bar area and didn't get greeted right away it took a few minutes it seemed like they were overwhelmed with all of the people there. We wanted 3 tastings in the hopes to have a charcuterie board and get a bottle of wine if we liked one of them. While sitting there a couple who had a baby sat at the bar and both were drinking wine (sorry I don't think it's okay) I understand parents need a day or night out (I'm a parent too) but babies don't belong at wineries or breweries. It's just how I feel. While sitting at the bar area the owners and whoever else the ladies were to the establishment didn't have it together they all kept overstepping one another and they looked and seemed overwhelmed. And they kept talking about it in front of us. I found out the new owners have only been there 6 months. So I understand they're still trying to figure things out. But it did take awhile to get a new pour, so I finally asked after 3 tastings if we can buy a charcuterie board, one of the ladies told me they don't have anymore they were sold out. We were bummed because we were hungry, and they didn't have any snacks to buy. So we were on our last tastings and out of nowhere a board appears and was now being bought from the couple with the baby who also got to sample the slushie they serve as well. We left unhappy and not understanding why they just lied to us about not having a board for sale. The wine was great but how we were treated compared to the people around us not so much. It's so unfortunate to like something so much but the service that's given to you and different for others is not okay. I love trying new places but sometimes it's not what's it's cut out to be.

Reference Case ID: #1901617…read more Three months ago I found this foreign object in my bottle of in my bottle of Gallo wine. I immediately wrote to Gallo Hdqts. and Consumer Services Representative, Macenzie M. cordially responded, she dismissed the disgusting experience as just a "cork". Though I strongly disagreed. My warning to all, where there is one mushroom, there are more. Which means their processing is questionable. Be sure to look in your glass before taking a drink. I tried to find information on the internet where and how to buy the materials. I found very little information and the information I found was here on Yelp. But, it was not the information I was looking for. Still at a loss on where to go or speak to.. I just drove out that way with my truck hoping to get lucky! I came across a big open lot that appeared to intercept the harvest trucks with a little building that had a sign in front (south side of Olive Ave just East of Clovis Ave). The sign was not very informative either by the way!!! So, I walked up to the building and there was a lady there behind a glass and asked if I needed help. I explained why I was there and she pointed out the different materials they had for sale. I explained I needed compost for over-seeding and she recommended the 50/50 mix of soil and compost. I bought a half of yard of 50/50 mix of soil and compost for only 15 dollars. Still not knowing where to go to get the material, I had to ask her where to go for the material because there was no signs. She pointed that I had to travel farther east on Olive Ave and take the second left. She stated a man would be there to help and load me. As I followed her instructions, there was no man to be seen. I drove pretty far to the back of the lot looking for this said, "man!" Eventually I just drove to the farthest part of this lot where I saw piles of materials and workers near by on equipment. Eventually someone waved me over and viewed my receipt. He then pointed me to the area he wanted me and he came over with a front loader. The pile of 50/50 mix he had was very small. But, it was enough for my load. As he scraped it up and loaded it into my truck, I saw small pebbles in the material. I think the pebbles came from him scraping the material from the ground. When I got home, I saw a few pieces of debris. It looked like a piece of a tie that's used for bread bags and few little pieces of torn paper. The material that was loaded in my truck didn't compare to the sample bags the girl had at the window when I purchased the mix. The half yard of 50/50 mix of compost and soil equaled to about 4 full wheelbarrows worth. Wished it would had been a bit more.. but worth the money. It would had cost me way more from a box store than it did getting the material at Gallo Winery. The little pebbles that was in the material migrated to the bottom of my wheelbarrow and was easily separated. As for the other debris, I just simply picked it out by hand and threw it away. I suggest to bring a tarp and a few pieces of heavy lumber to put over the top of the lighter weight material so it does not cause a hazard to other drivers when driving to your project location.
