I read the reviews including one from Dani, a fellow Yelp Elite whose vibes I generally trust. I called. Quick pick-up. Pretty casual. He was going to text me and I would text back the address. He did very quickly and I texted back. He said he'd be by in about 15-20 minutes. He made it in right about 20 minutes. I'd figured it would be a quick job and it was a quick job. He got in my car, saw the keys, and we were good to go. We had a fair price, not really a great price but a fair one, and he was able to accept cash, credit card, Venmo, or CashApp. I was having trouble getting into my Venmo (you could tell credit card was a bit more of a hassle, but we decided to go that route). He used Square and I got a text receipt confirming my payment. As much as I always hate to spend a decent amount for such an easy job, the truth is he couldn't have been much better. He arrived on time, got the job done, charged a fair price, was friendly, and the problem was ultimately solved. So yeah, I would definitely use again.

Top 10 issues: Late to the scheduled appointment: My tenant waited for the confirmed 4:00 PM appointment, and the locksmith acknowledged being approximately 25-30 minutes late. Argumentative instead of apologetic: When I raised the lateness, the technician argued with me and actually stated that essentially nobody in Indianapolis arrives on time for service appointments. Inconsistent pricing: I was initially told the job would be "about $100," then approximately $150 was discussed once the technician arrived.. then the Initial invoice was $200: Despite those earlier price discussions, the first payment request I received was for $200, which I immediately disputed. Aggressive billing dispute: Rather than professionally resolving the pricing issue, the technician argued and demanded immediate payment. The invoice was ultimately corrected to $100, which I paid immediately. Tried to involve my tenant in payment: I had explicitly told the technician that I was paying, yet my tenant reported that he confronted her about payment anyway. Inappropriate behavior inside her home: My tenant immediately called me afterward and reported that the technician was rude, asked for her personal phone, and was "screaming and hollering" inside the residence. Took the newly installed keys: Most seriously, my tenant reported that during the payment dispute he demanded the keys back, took them from her hand, and left with them. I had to intervene to get her keys returned, I contacted the locksmith and demanded that the keys be returned. He eventually came back, and my tenant recovered them. She told me the incident was embarrassing enough that neighbors had come outside and were watching. Constant boasting instead of customer service: He repeatedly referenced being the "best company in town," 1,300+ Google reviews, BBB accreditation, and veteran status while arguing with me. To be very clear, this is not a complaint from someone refusing to pay. The corrected $100 invoice was paid and payment was confirmed. My issue is the lateness, contradictory pricing, argumentative communication, and especially how my tenant reported being treated inside her own home. Traffic happens. Scheduling issues happen. Even pricing disagreements happen. Professional companies resolve those problems without escalating them or involving and intimidating a tenant who is not responsible for the bill. One star. I will never use this company again and strongly recommend choosing another locksmith.

I called Kash and talked with Melanie - she asked a ton of questions about the car, the type of fob, etc to make sure they came out with the right tools for the job. We made an appointment for the next day. Melanie called to let me know he was on his way, he was on time and my dog, who is generally mistrustful of men, ran right up to him. I knew then we were dealing with a genuinely good man. He's been at this forever - it took a while for him to get into the car and then a while to program the new fob - he said sometimes the technology works great and with some cars it struggles. Her battery was also low so he jumped her car and 90 minutes later she was back in business. He was extremely kind, very knowledgeable and the back office support with questions and scheduling was great. Highly recommend!

I then drive to my shop, pick up the car, drive back and park in front of store in the shade just trying to be nice. Then I was told to pull into a parking space. I then proceeded to pull into a parking space, got out and waited for the lady to approach me, but I assume That I parked in the wrong parking space, because she motioned me to pull into a different space. However, he could not program the FOB for my vehicle, but after a $120 deposit, said he would be back the next day to finish. That was over a month ago. Many phone calls and texts, even one no-show meetup, still haven't gotten my deposit back. Every interaction the Tech has been rude and unprofessional. Last message was that I would have to go to their store on Michigan, but turns out the Michigan location is not open for customers. I had my key made by another more reputable locksmith, got an OEM key for almost same cost as what these guys were charging. Talking with the guy, turns out this Tech didn't even know where to access the vehicle to program the FOB. Unprofessional. Use at your own risk.
