Can someone tell me what has happened to this taxi service. In my last three experiences spanning two months, I have had three terrible experiences. Long, extended waits at O'Hare during business trip returns and now a family trip with a driver who has no idea how to get from O'Hare to the tri- state tollway. The cab smells like an absolute armpit. 303 used to be extremely reliable. I'm switching to American to give it a try. read more

Don't call 1-800-TAXICAB anymore. I've used cabs for years for in-town work trips and the service has gotten continually worse. Got hooked up with this '303' outfit today and they are the worst. This is the last time a taxi company is going to embarrass me. read more

Really, (apparently as long as you don't use the app,) 303 is a perfectly fine suburban taxi. No better or worse than the others. Traffic around O'Hare is generally horrible due to never-ending construction. I live pretty close to O'Hare and use them frequently. I have never experienced the problems others note, but I do bypass the automatic scheduler and speak with a human. read more

My "9 minutes" away driver, scheduled via their sh!tty app, was over ONE HOUR LATE and I got no phone call from him. I was in a pretty easy pickup location. No excuses. The call center is a total run-around story and get nowhere. I hate this company - totally left me strung when I was depending on a pickup. Horrible company cannot be trusted! I ordered a cab on line at 800 in the morning got a confirmation text and email. I called them an hour prior to pick up to confirm which they did then 15 minutes before pickup I received a call saying they weren't going to be in that area!! My driver's number 8730. Wasn't even out of my driver way and the meter went up 20 cents. Drives way under the speed limit to get the fare higher. My avg. Route cost $12 with tip. This trip cost me $16 and no tip. read more

Their customer service phone line is a big problem. Every time I called, an old hatred woman answer my call using a tone like I own her millions of dollars. But the only thing I want to do is book a taxi. And that's their website instructs me to call the number for airport pickup. If they hate business so much like they sound in the phone then why do they just close down for peace? read more

I placed an online order the night before I needed the ride. The next morning a different cab from a different company shows up instead of '303'. The driver arrived 15 minutes early, then called me and insisted I had to 'hurry up' or he would leave. At the destination, he insisted on cash instead of a credit card saying it took 'months' before his company could collect from 303. Not much chance I'll call 303 again. read more

Very disappointed in 303 taxi. I scheduled a cab on their ap because of an early flight and wanted to be picked up at 4:30 am. I checked the status at 4:25 and the cab was 25 minutes away. I promptly checked Uber a there was driver only 10 minutes away. I canceled my cab order and went with Uber. The 303 taxi ap is nice but you need to have the service to go along with the technology. I arrived at O'Hare airport right in the middle of rush hour traffic. 303 Taxi had a car and courteous driver at the designated pickup point in the promised 5 minutes. Service was good. Clean vehicle. The driver even offered a bottle of water which was appreciated after a long day if work and travel. The flat rate of $44 seems reasonable compared to other transportation options between O'Hare and the western suburbs. read more

I never review anything on Yelp. I don't like to. 303 Taxi compelled me. 303 Taxi is ridiculously inept. If you call a cab and they quote you 12 minutes, expect to wait approximately until you die. Literally, ordered a cab at the Botanic Gardens, didn't show up, called 3 times, zero satisfaction. My ailing mother LITERALLY had to take medication because we had to walk out to the road to get any form of transport. So basically, if you want to endanger your health, get treated like garbage and wait till the world ends, go with 303. Otherwise, call an uber or a lyft, because unlicensed AMATEURS are infinitely more professional and responsive than this joke cab company. Disgusted. Quick note: they did eventually send a driver, Pedro, who couldn't have been nicer. He's a good dude. If you're forced to use 303 because, for example, you're escaping longtime captivity in someone's basement dungeon á la Silence of the Lambs, ask for Pedro. Yes .It IS worse than ever, Breaks were failing by the noise and shaking when he slowed down. The engine light was on . The driver did not say ONE WORD the whole time, but played loud music ,and looked A LOT at phone while driving 80 miles an hour. Oh, and it was really late What has happened to 303???? Do not do business with this company. My sister had a job interview and we needed a taxi to take us on a 15 minute ride. i booked it 70 minutes before the interview and they cancelled it half an hour after the booking with no explanation. I called and the dispatcher, named Luke, was excessively rude to me, including hanging up on me after making a rude comment to me, giving me no chance to respond. Keep in mind that he booked the new taxi, then made a rude comment to me and then hung up. So basically he assumed that even though he was so rude to me that I was still going to use their business. I immediately called back and told him he was rude to hang up on me. He paused when he realized it was me, made up a lie about the phone having bad reception and then hung up again. The taxi showed up 1 minute after my sister was supposed to be at the interview. The driver was nice but it couldn't make up for the shoddy service. Anyone with the audacity to act like this to a customer doesn't deserve any business. Avoid 303 taxi at all costs. read more

Never have I been so disgusted by the lack of compassion by a cab driver. Cab 40e was on the phone, cutting in and out of traffic for no reason, IT WAS RUSH HOUR!!!! His filthy mouth and jesters were enough for me to call the Rosemont Police. i wouldn't get in a 303 cab if it was raining cats and dogs, and I had a broken leg. I've generally never had an issue in the past, but this morning was awful. Called well in advance to have a taxi arrive, so I could make a train. They called back AT THE TIME THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO ARRIVE to say there were no taxis available for nearly a half hour. My train was in a half hour and there are no alternatives to 303 that can make it nearly fast enough. Thanks to 303's incompetence, I now have to cancel my ticket, order a much more expensive ticket for a last minute train TOMORROW, miss a day of work and lose out on money I desperately needed. This cab company is the absolute worst! They recently left my 85yr old mother stranded for 3 hours and never came for her. She hadn't told anyone she took a taxi to the hospital and was left alone crying until a family member could pick her up. I would never ever ever suggest anyone use them. Recently, Friday I had an incident with cab 589. He put students life's in danger by knowing he had a flat tire and didn't do anything about it, but continue to drive us. We told him we weren't okay with it and told him it wasn't right. We called the company to complain, they called him and he told them we were liars as he was still driving on a flat. I have been using 303 taxi for many years - sometimes it was bad yet sometimes it was good. I never called the company to complaint even it was not good. However, I was so angry at one of their driver, who was really rude and yelled. I do not think he understood English at all. So I called the company and was transferred to their quality of control department. I left two messages and never received a call back. It has been 4 days. I gave it 1 start because of their QA department and began to think this is something about their culture. read more

Would have left ZERO stars if I could...They Left My 85 yr old Mother stranded at Loyola in Maywood on a Friday afternoon. She called at 1pm for a pickup and at 4:30 Connor the dispatcher still couldn't tell her IF a driver would EVER be able to come pick her up. I used Am Regional for 9 months and never had an issue. 303 bought them out and ever since then I have had nothing but problems! Always late and sometimes they don't even show up. I usually call for a taxi a few hours before I need the pickup to give them plenty of time. After many late arrivals and missing my train to Chicago its time to start calling someone else. Thirty minutes late for a pickup to ohare airport on a Monday morning. Absolutely unacceptable.

I requested a cab in Arlington Heights and the driver was outside my door in less than 5 minutes. Perfect because I was late for work and needed to leave quickly. Driver was very friendly. Taxi fare is visible for driver and passengers to see so it's not sketchy. Overall great experience, will definitely use them when my boyfriend accidentally takes my keys to work with him again. read more

Like another reviewer, I have had good experiences with them in the past when coming home from O'Hare. However this last time was the worst service ever! We saw probably a hundred cabs from another company (which I will call next time!) before we saw ours. Our suitcases were almost bigger than the driver so we put them in the cab ourselves. The radio was on so loud in back we could not hear the driver and we were not sure if he knew where he was going. He did not take the expressway, just took back roads to our house, as we could see his engine light was on. It also appeared he lived in his cab as it was full of junk. When we got to our house, he had to look up the flat rate price, added a few dollars as a "service fee", then asked for a tip on top of that. We took our own bags out, and got into our house as fast as we could! Sorry, 303, never again! read more

I have never in my life been so put out by a cab company. Your driver for pick up was fifteen minutes late causing me to be late for an interview. The driver on the way back dropped me at the wrong station and pulled away before I realized it. I missed the last train home to Chicago and had to take your service to OHare costing me $60 and take the blue line home at midnight. If your company had any decency you would reimburse me fully for this. I am so beyond upset. read more

303 taxi confirmed (with a confirmation number) that a taxi would be at my house in Lake Forest one hour later. Almost 2 hours later, they called to say they had no cab available, making me very late for a business meeting. Needless to say, I won't be using them again! read more

Called 303 cab service (847-303-0303) at 530am for a pick up at the Metra Train (Kenosha) Lake Forest, Il station at 7:30am. They stated that the computer would send a text message to the passenger 20 min in advance of arrival of train to station. No Text Sent. At 730am 303 cab service callled the caller's number who ordered the taxi, not the passenger's number and said they didn't have a cab at the time to pick up the passenger. It took three calls to cab company asking why they were not sending a cab. Finally, 30 minutes after passenger arrived at the Lake Forest station at 691 N. Western Ave, Lake Forest, the cab arrived. Causing the passenger to be late to the destination. In addition, the dispatcher s speak so fast that they are difficult to understand. This was first trip to Lake Forest area from the city and so far not such a good impresssion. read more
