This has been a pretty terrible experience from the start. I was misquoted on my auto policies to…read moreinclude a discount for tracking my vehicles, which I EXPRESSLY said NO! to. They wouldn't fix their mistake, so more money out of my pocket. Then I had a food spoilage loss due to a power outage and it was a whole circus trying to get ahold of anyone. The local staff doesn't answer phones until 0900, despite everything saying their hours start at 0800, so you get routed to the call center who will just jerk your chain and forward you around to 3 or 4 other people before telling you that you have to talk to the local staff. Again, the local staff that you can't get ahold of when you need them. Even Lemonade was more helpful and responsive than this circus group at State Farm...and that says a lot because Lemonade is all electronic!

She then said she would tell me anyway. She wanted $591.66 a MONTH for full coverage on 2 cars, 2 drivers without roadside and rental car. I have good credit and no fault accidents and no tickets on either driver. She was very rude and arrogant towards me once I didn't want to disclose the amount. I just wanted to see what their best offer is and it is over double what I'm already paying for less coverage. Here's your disclose and buyer beware. They also don't insure houses inside the city limits of Boerne Texas anymore due to some study they did. Add on a $47 per person annual membership fee and it's a lot of money. I am a disabled Veteran with a kid in college and caring for another disabled child full time. I am not rich. I was referred to her by a friend who used to use them before moving and she had nothing but good things to say. However she started with them almost 20+ years ago so I guess it was a different experience for her.

I…read morenoticed my rate jumped up by $75 one month to the next, with no notification, just an automatic deduction so I decided to contact Mr Cardenas. He was completely rude about his explanation over the phone and I was appalled by his demeanor! Especially with having worked with him on a one on one basis for so long and being so nice, he did not even give the time of the day to see what he could do to help with the issue after I told him I would cancel all services. I would NEVER recommend Statefarm to anybody, not only because of how high their rates are but the unfortunate outcome of customer service they have provided in the end. I am now working with USAA who is $150 cheaper than Statefarm, which I think anyone could agree with saving that much money. So thank you, Ruben for opening my eyes to better service than yours!

Yates & Associates has been unresponsive, in fact neglectful in every way. They were always very helpful and accommodating, up until I closed my business and needed to cancel my policies. From that point forward, they acted as if I didn't exist and FAILED to follow through with cancelling my policies. I've been going in circles with providers getting things cancelled on my own.
