He shows you the X-rays , educates you and follows up diligently so you can see what is happening. He is always available to answer all questions. I also had a friend (over 60) who had a complete shoulder replacement. My friend showed me the X-rays and demonstrated how his shoulder works now - truly a miracle! He has completely recovered and has full use of his shoulder so he can do what he wants to do again. He followed through with all physical therapy but attributes the success to Dr. Petruccelli's skill as a surgeon.

I was referred to him for an urgent consultation by Dr. DeMarco following an epidural injection. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Blam was deeply disappointing. He entered the room abruptly and defensively asked, "Why are you here?" because he had already read my MRI report. When we explained the referral to discuss a treatment plan for my herniated disc, he was dismissive and interrupted us, stating he could do nothing if we were seeking surgery. He then made a blanket assumption about my insurance, claiming Aetna would not cover surgery, without even knowing my specific policy details. While I have had excellent experiences within this practice with Dr. Adams, Dr. DeMarco, and Amy Holloway, Dr. Blam's rude, disrespectful demeanor left my husband and me completely stunned. I will not return to him and cannot recommend his care.

I have dealt with bilateral hip pain for 4 years without proper diagnosis. Dr. Wolff knew what was wrong in 5 minutes of my exam. I had a right Hip Arthroscopy for FAI with Labrum Reconstruction on 4-19-2024. Immediately after surgery my hip pain was gone and the recovery was a breeze. I do not know if I am the exception but I was walking without crutches by day 11-12 without any issues. If you need any hip procedure in the DMV Dr. Wolff and his team are without exception the best Orthopedic Surgical Group around! Highly recommend!

I went back to him every 2 to 3 months for that year explaining to him that I was diligent with my physical therapy and taking the medication he told me to take, and yet the hip wasn't getting any better. But He continued to insist it was ongoing inflammation for over a year. Since he wasn't willing to consider what else it might be or offer any other solutions to help me, I went out and got a second opinion. So I saw another surgeon, and after he operated on me, he determined that I had extensive scarring inside my hip binding the hip flexor muscles to the hip capsule. After he removed all the scar tissue from my hip, it was much better and pain free. Dr. Wolff refused to consider that anything else may be going on, and so he wasn't able to help me. While a nice man, I found that he was rushed during our appointments and he wasn't always in the moment. So I don't feel he was always listening to what I had to say. Regardless, him continuing to insist my pain was due to inflammation for an entire year wasn't really him thinking about what else the problem might be or to consider other solutions.

The results under her guidance are far superior to other PT experiences I've had. After total knee replacement, Monique, and as well Mr. Ho, encouraged and marshaled the enormous confidence and motivation required to get off the walker and cane. In only four weeks they added 70 degrees range of motion to the knee, which led to crucial cancellation of an imminent second operation to remove scar tissue. They are great with not over booking the doctors. Dr. Saltzman is amazing. He is very thorough and takes his time with each patient. He tells you the best and worst case scenarios, tells you his thoughts on how things can/should go and then lets you decide on what you want to do. Obviously, he will provide input, but he isn't the type to rush you to the operating room if treatment may resolve you concerns. Pat ent care is his priority.

I spent 15 minutes on the phone given the answering service all my information my Workmen's Comp. claim number the approval for an orthopedic and everything yet to this day four days later I've still have not received a phone call back! I called them back and they sarcastically informed me they only except referrals from doctors offices!! First of all in the state of Maryland you're allowed to choose your own doctor with a Workmen's Comp case and make your own appointments . It's Maryland law !!! you're not required to let the doctor do them things it is your civil right in the state of Maryland if you have a referral you can call that doctor and set up your own appointment. You do not have to be at the mercy of your previous doctor to send referrals and approvals to a doctor. But this is how this doctor operates violating your civil rights bye only excepting referrals from doctors offices and not individuals. It's a form of discrimination!!! Not only that it violates your civil rights!!!! Why in the world would you want to use a Doctor Who so arrogant that he won't even return patient's phone calls and has an answering service taking all these phone calls so they can screen their calls. I saw Dr. Dreese here for a recent shoulder injury and was pretty happy with the whole experience…read more When I called after my primary care doctor referred me their administrative staff was quick and efficient and got me an appointment within a couple of days. Wait times were always reasonable and I never had problems with billing or any other hassles like that. Dr. Dreese himself seemed like a nice guy. He took the time to explain my injury to me and was happy to answer any questions that I had. The support staff (x-ray techs, nurses, etc) were all very courteous and professional. Thankfully I didn't need surgery so I didn't get the "full experience" so to speak.
