Worth every penny…read more We're visiting Padre Island from ~7 hours away, so we flew instead of driving--meaning we didn't have the option to bring our own chairs, etc from home. We tried one day of beach with just towels to sit on, no shade, and it was hard to stay very long. It got super hot and uncomfortable after just a couple hours, and I was worried about burning, so we went back to the hotel to cool off. I booked an umbrella set with 361 Blue online for the next day. It's so perfect! They checked us in, we had a great spot. The chairs are comfortable and the umbrella is really sturdy and protective. It was 1000 times more comfortable than the day before!!! Very cool with the breeze even at 100 degrees outside. I could've relaxed in that chair all day. The activities are also a big plus!! I didn't realize they had that when I booked. There's sand volleyball, cornhole, giant Connect Four, giant Jenga. My 10 yo loved the games. There were also a lot of families and kids in the same area so he had others to play with. Also great that, with an all day booking, you can leave and come back. We took a 30-min midday break for lunch knowing our great spot would still be ours when we returned. Such a fantastic experience. I will 100% do this again!!! Highly recommend.
