BUYER BEWARE: I placed an order for 3,000 woven labels on April 7, 2021 and was told it would take 3 weeks for my shipment to arrive. It has been 5 weeks (and counting) and I still don't have my labels. Not only has my order taken twice as long as I was quoted, the customer service and communication is horrible. My emails are being ignored and every time I call I'm told that Hugh (the owner) is "working from home". There are apparently 2 owners and the other one doesn't speak good English which only adds to the frustration. He keeps telling me to email Hugh, but I have emailed Hugh for the past 3 days and have not received a response. I have requested concessions since they didn't honor their quote and was told that they can't provide a discount because labels have a very small profit margin and they wouldn't make any money....yet I'm losing money because I can't launch my business due to the label delay. My 3rd party private-labeling company has all of my inventory prepped for labeling...waiting for 3A Thread & Supply company to send them the labels. We've been buying tagging supplies from 3A for years. You would think they would extend some kind of courtesy given our business history but no My last order- I asked for 1" tag pins...they sent me 2". By the time I received it, I needed to use them so I didn't have time to return and wait for the correct item. I called, let them know and asked that next time they waive shipping or give us some kind of discount. I called today to order 1" and told the Chinese lady that picked up about what happened and she agreed to waiving the shipping fee. Once she reads the order back to me, she says "and also shipping charge" I was like "but you said you would pay that since you guys screwed my order up last time" She starts saying how I should have called and returned it. GOD LADY YOU ARE NOT LISTENING. Why are old Asians clueless to what customer service is yet are the first to demand discounts for nothing? I explained it to her again and she flatly said "well i don't know who told you that" Wow... yea please don't take any responsibility and play stupid. When it came to taking my credit card information she was suddenly energized and enthusiastic. Go figure. I even told her I'm not going to use them again and she seemed totally indifferent. Yea keep that attitude. I hope you lose more and more business.. i can promise you this review will turn some people off enough to find a different (and better) vendor... like Amazon :) Conclusion: Shitty service unworthy of another try but deserving of a bad review. read more

Love this place. Great customer service with answers to all questions. Love there their stretch thread for making swimwear and they have it in many different colors. They also have many other supplies and are very happy to help! read more

Excellent I don't know what the other Yelper was talking about but we've had good experiences with this company. Yes it is true sometimes you get a person there who doesn't speak very good English but from what I understand they have Sales Reps to match the people who work in the Apparel Industry, like it or not. The industry is a melting pot of the world. There are Jewish & Persians selling fabric, Koreans, Latins, Chinese, in sew machine parts and trim supplies, and... etc.... I'm assuming if there was a problem it was a simple communication issue., these people are very nice. That being said they have soooo many items you need for sewing. They even make our tag labels for our lines of clothes and their price and service is beyond amazing. One of their sales reps says they make the tags for many huge names in the industry and even outside of the industry. He couldn't name-drop but it is easy to see those companies are by simply looking at the samples they have of what they done. If you have a Honda their stuff is in your car, if you have a dog or cat there is a good chance their stuff is in that collar or pet clothes, if you wear lingerie there is a very very good chance their threads constructed that sexy thing. It's the good with the bad, give & take. From what I've heard they've been in the apparel business for over 35 years. I like them and they wouldn't have survived all these years & years without being good. read more
