Well I walked in and low and behold there were so many things to choose from besides apple butter! The owner was super nice and he even had samples of the apple butter. Lol we both sampled it! It was sooooooo delicious. I ended up purchasing apple butter, sweet potato butter, and orange marmalade in the nicely sized 18oz jars. The price wasn't bad either. Oh! And to my surprise that had the "no granulated sugar added" ones as well! Will definitely be back to get more! Had to contain myself this time or I would have gone overboard.

He even let us poke the combs and try FRESH honey straight from the hive. He collected some bees for me then we headed over to his little self serve honey hut where I picked out a bottle of honey! Also, although my family and i enjoyed the variety of animals at their zoo, I personally felt some of the enclosures were too small for the animals they were hosting in them. The bobcat in particular paced around its enclosed for nearly 15 minutes and seemed somewhat distressed. Cool visit but for the money o expected much much more. After looking up their site, I saw they have a honey house that you can pick up orders during daylight hours. It's on the honor system and you pay for what you take. Depending on the season, they have several different varieties of honey. We started with the orange blossom. They have all different sizes and their prices are very reasonable. They also have honey straws. I think they've become our favorite. A nice amount of honey as a snack if you're looking for a quick sweet treat. I discovered through those that I really like their lemon honey, too! If you're wanting a specific order, just call or text them ahead of time. They'll put it together for you and leave it at the honey house when it's ready. They're super helpful!
