First time using 3D. Both our AC unit failed over the Memorial Day weekend. The downstairs unit fail on Saturday and the upstairs unit Sunday. We called Tuesday and they were here on Wednesday. Got the upstairs unit up and running. Downstairs needed parts. Friday alls cool! Professional, Friendly, Communicative, Thorough and on time. Saved us a lot of money by checking on warranties, remember to get the extended warranty's. Saved us thousands $$$. Where do I begin. I don't even want to spend this time to do this review. To think about my ordeal upsets me. I only used 3 D because they work on weekends. I now regret using them at all. They came out and diagnosed an air conditionet problem that cost 1,160 dollars. I paid them. The unit seemed to work after they left. They said they would come back to make sure it was working but never did. Ten days later it quit working again they came out again. They tore up a lot of duct work to get to the motor that they said was not working. I looked up the part and it was normally around 300 to 500 dollars. They left and called back later and said now I had to pay 2,200 dollars to fix it. I was livid. Ten days before they charged 1,160 to fix it and now say it is 2,200 more to fix it again. Never acknowledging they misdiagnosed and charged me 1,160 dollars for nothing. Well I called Another company for a second opinion. I called Integrity Air HVAC. Guess what, It was the motor all along, but Integrity only charged me 850 dollars. That included new duct work that 3D had torn up with their ham fisted diagnostics the day before. Integrity fixed it all and it has worked great since. read more

they installed a brand new unit on a brand new house less than a year and a half ago and I just had to pay them $530 because of a faulty wire on a low-voltage fuse. Absolute ridiculous. I don't mind paying for the fuse but a total of $530 is ridiculous. Consider other companies before using them for sure. read more

They replaced my unit and I am vey pleased. They also insulated my attic and my bill is lower too.

Called about service was told over the phone it was $130 service call.Tech came out,explained my unit had a code of no power on my nest thermostat,he went to service my unit after an hour he came back,telling me,he would be able to fix my unit and that controlboard was damaged and needed to be replaced and quoted $900.I explained the unit was only 6months old.He then goes on to say the board would be hard to get it was a special order.and to write him a check for $285,which was above the original service call fee.I found the control board for $35 on Amazon.So I informed him I would not be paying $900,he then changed it to $616.I refused the service.It took him a week to turn in the check for $285,which I called about to be informed that he used a fuse and it was $150.A 3amp fuse is $5,at the most in the store.I will never use or recommend their service due to price gouging,plus the fact that another company had to come out and fix the wiring that he mixed up,and wires he just left hanging.Not a good company. read more

They are responsive, on-time, and always super polite and professional. Brad made the air duct cleaning consultation AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! I found this company today by looking the BBB, and now it is clear that I will ONLY patron companies that have BBB accreditation. I initially spoke to the receptionist and stated that I would need a technician that would wear a mask and shoe coverers, as it is rainy and muddy. Brad arrived putting on shoe covers but did not have a mask. I went to my supply to provide him with this requisite armor. Brad entered into my foyer, asking for the main source of the air duct, and I mistakenly took him to the main vent. He then asked to be taken to the attic. He began walking round, visually inspecting the unit- making the comment that it was old... Never had this commentary with all of the myriad of consultations that I had, including Freedom Air and Cooling. Brad asked me whether I had just moved in, and I said no. Now, I don't know whether my age, sex or ethnicity contributed to his lack of dialogue and over all disrespect, but he did not think it appropriate to discuss the process of his inspection. This was unnerving, but when he took out the machete type knife and began stabbing my vent, cutting a large square- I know we had a problem. I told him this was not necessary, and he said that it was part of the process. Again, no other company made such a large incision. I told him I would need to be clear about what all he needed to do- again, he did not feel it necessary or even a nicety to communicate his process. After this contention, he pulled out the machete yet again, so as to cut another part of my hardware- at which time I asked him to leave. I have no interest in patronizing any business that does not feel it is important to communicate with the owner about their processes or practices. Completely disrespectful! Social, communication and business skills COMPLETELY lacking. I had to ask him to leave my home THREE TIMES! If you don't want to feel threatened in your own home, stay away. **** Receptionist Shannon called after**** Shannon tells me that Brad and I tell similar stories (as if I care). She attempted to tell me their process, which is moot. As a customer, I would have appreciated knowing their process BEFORE Brad stabbed a big ass square in my duct, and CERTAINLY before he attempted to make a second whole- NOT from you, Shannon a receptionist at the office. Perhaps you should share the process with potential customers when they call for the consultation. Also, hire folks who don't abuse drugs and or alcohol. read more

My tech Joe Stockman was so thorough and detailed. I hired this company as I was in escrow on a purchase of a house. He saved me a lot of money. He walked me through every finding. He did not miss a beat. He found all of the code violations that were obviously dangerous. He explained in layman's terms how all of this fits together. The other Yelp reviewers were right. Excellent experience with Rodger and crew, from estimate to installation. When my mother needed to replace a 24yr old Carrier system, we got estimates from 5 companies; one for Carrier, two for Bryant, one for Lennox, and one for Heil. 3D Air's proposal was not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive, and (1) Rodger was the most thorough in his visit; (2) others charged extra for duct cleaning/sealing and/or didn't include a filter or sanitizer/UV; (3) others proposed reusing the lineset, which I was just a little skeptical of with it being 24yrs old (or older); (4) nobody else considered whether rooftop venting required updating; and (5) the next closest offer included less labor warranty or a very expensive option to extend from 1yr to 10yr. In addition, 3D Air's front office was very responsive by email to requests for changes to the proposal options. Plus, they offer very competitively priced annual service plans. After deciding to proceed, the time from signing to install date was minimal, and the installation crew worked politely & efficiently and the results reflect an attention to detail that provides a lot of peace of mind. The new system has been running great for five days, and I expect it will do so for a long time. Thank you! read more
