This place has some really beautiful pieces. It has both local artist's work as well Fair Trade work. The shop owner was very nice and very knowledgeable. I found her to be very eager to sell things. She said, "It's for sale" or "Is be happy to sell it to you" several times. I understand she's a small business owner and needs to sell things in order to stay in business. But, I also understand that everything in the shop is for sale. Regardless, I did find a few things for myself as well as for gifting. As with most art galleries, it's not cheap, but you're also getting handmade goods. As for parking, I parked on the side of the building. I'm not sure if there is another parking area away from the traffic of Lexington Ave. I'd love to go back and look around again sometime.

Finally, on a Saturday morning, we had our brilliant idea to custom frame pictures of the babies. We stopped into Lamborn's. They walked us through options on frames and backings. They showed us a few compositions to determine the size. Then they asked, "When do you need this?" "Today." A small exhale, then, "Okay." They charged an extra 10% for a rush order, but we still paid a reasonable $20-$30 for each frame up. The product looked great, the godparents were thrilled, and we felt like we had great service.
