Books are…read moreorganized by genre - history, children's, religion, etc. - and the staff was very enthusiastic to direct me anywhere I might be interested in. I personally thought some of the books were priced too high for their condition, but they were fun and interesting to look through. The shop is relatively small, but its layout has lots of little nooks and crannies that make it easy to explore for a good amount of time. Cozy, in a good way. There are lots of trinkets and dishware, and I was able secure several pieces of a collection for a good price! The lady who rang me up and talked with me most was very knowledgeable and kind. One star off just for some of the pricing and because I was charged an extra $10. The math is done by hand, and I trust it was an honest mistake, though. I didn't notice at the moment, but I trust they would have refunded me if I went back. I'll definitely be back and recommend!

Tends to cater to the larger sizes. The store uses some sort of fragrance that is diffused throughout the air, often so strong I can smell it outside the door before entering. Can give me a headache. It permeates the clothing and some of the accessories. I have bought clothing that I had to launder several times to alleviate the smell and it's still not completely gone, or dust down leather purses with baking soda and let sit outside. I can't imagine I'm the only one who does not like these scents. It is an assault on the senses and a hassle to get out of purchases. Clothing should be stored in a pristine environment, free of scents.
