Nicely appointed spot on Bonifacio Street leading into Arevalo village intersection, I tried their filipino styled latte, but was disappointed by the quality of beans, lack of flavour and foam, but their caramel banoffee pie was - as at Brewtherhood - very nice indeed. They drizzled caramel syrup all over the plate to present it nicely.
They've a fairly full menu of sandwiches, breakfasts, and miscellaneous treats, and seem to do well, but it just doesn't match up. Too bad, but if Brewtherhood uses imported high quality arabica beans in a high-end commercial espresso machine, why not here?
Not sure we will go back. Too bad because we'd have liked something closer. Oddly enough, but when driving 2.5 hours to San Jose in Antigue on a bad road seems a better alternative, tells you all about the lousy restaurants, minimal good coffee shops (Brewtherhood), and marginal hotels in the 'big' city, something needs to be changed! But that malady plagues the whole slum-prone country.
