I had the pleasure of speaking with Stefan on many occasions. I had so many questions and he was very patient, knowledgeable, respectful and kind. I show up and ring the bell. the person I drive there with goes into the store to buy bungee cord and tells them that I'm at the propane tank waiting. Several other people show up (I watch them drive up and enter the store) after the person I'm with was in line and told the liar UHaul employee I was waiting and instead of coming out and filling the tank before helping people that haven't been waiting for 20 minutes the lazy employee decides to stay inside and help people that haven't waited almost half an hour. so I ring the bell again, several times, because obviously Mr. Lazy Liar hasn't heard it. He finally comes out yelling "I don't need you ringing the damn bell over and over." well, obviously you do because you didn't hear it almost half an hour ago...or you just chose to ignore it. you want to come out yelling at me because you're too lazy to do your job, I'll yell back and let you know that I've been waiting here for almost half an hour, that I've seen people come and go while I've been waiting. this is where he just starts lying. he says no they were here before you. and I ask if the guy in the green shirt that bought something (the person that come with me) was there before me and why he was helped before me when I know I pushed the button before he walked in the store, the lazy lying employee said he was there way before me...the person that I drove there, that had to walk across the parking lot AFTER I hit the bell...was there way before me. and then he said writing a contract took a long time. I'm sure it does...but the person I drove there that just bought something didn't have a contract. maybe the people that you helped before me that got there 10 minutes after I was waiting had a contract...in fact I know they did because despite their showing up 10 minutes after I rang the bell for a 2 minute propane fill up, I watched them drive a truck away. so after I catch him in the lie and say oh...I got here way after him and point to the guy that he checked out and he realizes that I know he's completely full of crap, he threatens to refuse service. you lie and get caught being a lazy liar and you're answer is to refuse to do your job even further. pathetic. I won't be returning to this location because it's quite obvious they're lazy and they lie and that's not good for any business.

The woman at the front desk informed me that I would only be charged for the six days I had the vehicle. The following day, I discovered they charged me for seven days, claiming it was ten minutes late. Instead of speaking with the person who was there when I dropped off the vehicle or reviewing their camera feed, they chose to steal from a customer. It was the dirtiest and most run down truck I have every rented from U-Haul.

I called about 3 weeks ago to have a hitch installed for a bike carrier. The woman who I spoke with said that they don't carry them in stock and to order through the website. So I did (res#20286308). I showed up at my 7am appt this morning (about 2 weeks after the order was placed) for the scheduled installation, and a VERY rude woman who may be the manager said "We don't have that in stock, and tried calling you." BULLSHIT. There was no phone call or voicemail received on my phone. She flat out lied. And then when I expressed some frustration, she told me (A) that ordering online doesn't guarantee that their store will support the order, and (B) for me to calm down. When I put my phone on the counter to show her there was no phone call, she refused to look, and accused me of being aggressive. I was frustrated, not aggressive - believe me. Rather than listen to my frustrations, she repeatedly cut me off with a "Sir calm down", and offered no help for my situation. I have lodged a complaint with UHaul corporate (which I don't expect any sort of remediation to occur), and I will find another company who will support my business in a professional manner, and will keep their commitments made, or at the very least, attempt to make reparations for their F-ups. I had rented a truck that was so bad that the front driver seat felt like it was leaniy towards the drivers door. When I went down the street, I felt like I had to hold tightly to keep the truck under control. The truck also did not like an incline in the road as it struggled. I picked up my couch which was in the thrift shop down the street and while I was trying to head towards the highway call mom I was too scared to get on it and I turned around to bring back the truck. This all happened in less than an hour. By the time I picked up the truck and brought it back when I came back I told your general manager that the truck was no good and I was afraid for my life driving it. She said in a very, very loud voice. "There's nothing wrong with that car there's nothing wrong with that car!" when I tried to explain what was wrong with it in between her yelling mad at me, she said, "well what kind of car do YOU drive? I am a mechanic are YOU a mechanic?" I have never been treated this rudely and any U-Haul location I have ever visited. My best advice to you as an owner is to replace this general manager as she's turning away a lot of customers she has absolutely no customer service skills.

Uhaul systems were down so we drove around looking for another truck and got a flat tire in the process! Drove to nearest Uhaul service center and it was closed at 4pm! Called Uhaul help line and NO help! Drove 20 more miles on flat tire until I could trade out for another Truck. Help line finally called me back 2 hrs later! Going Enterprise next time!
