Driving down the curvy backroad you'll meet the horses roaming the meadows as the flowers and trees overwhelm you with close comfort. The fresh cut wood, fire-pits and freshly mowed fields greet you as you enter giving a nice sense of adjustment that fits all so well. Welcomed by the beautiful entrance and small bridge crossing to reveal an adorable home, horse stable, workshop & a clubhouse. All of which have luscious green yards, bright flowers, and giant trees settled in near. A roundabout circles it all making it convenient for traffic flow for drop offs and for parking. Inside the roundabout is the clubhouse and workshop and the yards are filled with fire-pits, tree swings, hammocks, picnic tables and plenty of shade! There's a small creek that runs through the field out front and another that streams down from the back valley with plenty of land and trails to venture out on too if you get adventurous. All around this place is an absolute 5 out of 5 for me. For anything from weddings to horseback riding, they could make it happen!

Beautiful space, great place to hold a venue! Very spacious, I attended a wedding there and it was…read moreelegant and just worked. Saw some art there one time, it was made for art it just works.. like a bouquet on a brunch table. Honestly you could do anything there.. a mixer, a paint and sip, that fits right?? Art and wine..yes please. You could hold a ballroom dancing class, heck you could hold a ball like a gala style benefit. Since I mentioned it perhaps a brunch type thing like from 10-14, everyone likes brunch and mossas maybe toss some puppies in there just for pettin, no.. what about a humane society fashion show, get them all glammed up and showcase them, talk about their likes and dislikes, their aspirations. Bunch of boozy young to middle aged adults high on Prosecco and crepes, lot of happy snooterdoodles getting homes.. why stop there.. maybe you pop an hours on both ends, 9-3 or 4? Of course it would be on Saturday.. duh. Maybe there is a screen set up in a corner of the room with all kinds of cozy bean bag chairs and blankets, pillows. On the screen it's playing nothing but Tom Hanks movies, this event is now from 9-5 so 8 hours of Tom Hank's blockbusters, Turner and Hooch, You've got mail, a man called Otto, Cast Away, and terminal, that lest one doesn't have animals but it is wholesome. For the first half like till 1 ish everyone can watch Tommies movies, snuggle pups and drink classy breakfast cocktails. What of the announcer is a little old man with a bow tie and his name is Hank. Hank Loves dogs and maybe he gets a little emotional when he talks about how bad they need homes.. that's going to tug on some heart strings.. you just drank 4 bloody Mary's and watched Tom fall in love with a stray cat and then Hank Gets up to showcase a poor puppy in need! He talks about how his late wife Darlene loved helping animals and her dying wish was for Hank to be happy and make the world a better place!! He pulls out a HANKerchief and wipes a solitary tear and smiles and says: I have had a wonderful life, and now it's time for Sampson to have a Wonderful life too, and a hopeful volunteer walks out showcasing a needy dog who has a big smile and is wearing a handsome vest, cause he gets a little cold sometimes.. awww. He love sleeping in the bed, under the covers and his favorite treat are little cubed sweet potato bites.. Hank says: he's a good good boi, and I'm hope that someone has it in their heart to give Sampson his forever home, and if you can't have pets then we hope you make a donation. What's this event called you ask? Hankering for Homes, I just got goosebumps typing that.. i hope that someone who has the money and drive finds it in their heart to organize this event, I would really like to attend... I digress, this is a fantastic venue with plenty of possibilities, but let's be honest, it was made for Hankering for Homes.

Was a bridesmaid in a wedding there. The staff was extremely unhelpful. The wedding was supposed to…read morebe outside and there was a torrential downpour so we had to move the ceremony inside - which is fine, weather happens. In order to change plans we had to rearrange the inside barn area, also fine except that the four men who worked for the barn refused to do anything. Guests had to move tables and the mother of the bride had to ask the them for extra chairs, which we paid for, and had to bed them to be brought it. It also flooded inside because of the new construction outside- also things happen... except that we couldn't get any staff to help and by the time they got there the linens on head table were soaking up muddy water and there was 4 inches of water right in front of the catering table. There also weren't even enough spaces at the head table for the entire bridal party (which they knew ahead of time)... there was a huge lack of activity from staff. Also this is not the place to book if you have family that has trouble with stairs because the only bathroom is in the bridal lounge upstairs. Guests had to go outside and climb a full flight in order to use the one bathroom- also difficult when it's raining because it is exposed. Overall interesting place for a wedding but if there is anything you need during set-up or arrival expect to be met with an attitude. Rain and inclement weather obviously can't be helped, but a positive service experience would have made all the difference. Having the owner call guests a bitch doesn't help either.. Also there is zero cell phone service and no wifi.

NOT an LGBTQ friendly location! I want to preface this with the fact that I am always very open…read morewhen I am messaging vendors for our wedding since we are a lesbian couple and unfortunately some people are not ok with that. I messaged Julie back in December and was asking about a Monday wedding in October. Literally the first thing I mention is that we are a lesbian couple because I want to make sure that it is something they accommodate. I realize that not everyone is ok with our lifestyle choice so I am just trying to be respectful by being upfront. Julie messaged back with all of the information and then no kidding, exactly 2 minutes later, retracted and said "Oh, I am sorry we are all booked for that date." It's a Monday, which had me a little suspicious. Unbeknownst to me at the time, my maid of honor, who I told this story to, decided to email Julie with the same date just to see what she would say and what do you know... that date was AVAILABLE! Imagine that! You know, I was honest up front and I would expect that someone with a 5 star review would have enough courtesy to at least say they don't accommodate wedding for LGBTQ couples. I would have understood and appreciated her honesty. Instead she flat out LIED to me. She is the most disrespectful person I have met thus far in my planning. So, who knows what else she is lying about... NOT the sort of business I want to associate with. I would give ZERO stars if I could.
