Yesterday, while shopping for Christmas gifts for my wife with my daughter, I decided to have my iPhone 14 Pro repaired at this store. My phone had a cracked screen, but it was fully functional, with no issues with the screen or the phone's performance prior to visiting the store. I approached a female employee, whose name I do not recall, and inquired if they provided phone repair services. She confirmed and informed me that the repair would take approximately 45 minutes, at a cost of $220, and that I would need to provide my phone's passcode. I agreed, handed over the phone, and continued shopping while the repair was in progress. I returned to the store roughly 35 minutes later, at which point the employee was still working on my phone. She informed me that it should be ready soon, so I waited patiently. However, upon her completion, I discovered that the screen was no longer functioning, and the phone would not power on. She then explained that sometimes they receive faulty parts and that it was a common issue. She assured me that she would try another screen. I agreed to wait while she attempted the repair again. After another 45 minutes, the screen still did not work. At that point, I asked her to return my phone to its original state with the old screen, as it was still functional, and I would take my business elsewhere. She then insisted that she had another screen available and that her manager would be coming to assist with the repair. During this interaction, she suggested that I doubted her abilities because of her gender, which I strongly denied. I clarified that I had no such concerns, or I would never have trusted her with my phone. When the manager arrived, he made an aggressive statement, promising, "I will correct the problem, and if I can't, you can cut my head off." His tone was intimidating, and when I reiterated that I only wanted my phone returned to its original condition, he began shouting, saying, "I'm going to fix the [expletive] phone, and you are going to pay me." I continued to request that he simply put my phone back together with the original screen, but he became increasingly hostile, stating, "Well, you're not getting your phone back at all. I'm going to [expletive] fix it. Just let me [expletive] fix it." At this point, my 10-year-old daughter became visibly upset and anxious, requesting that we leave. Concerned for her well-being, I left the store to find the nearest mall security officer and contacted the police. After about 30 minutes, the police arrived, along with mall security, and forced the manager to return my phone with the original parts. I was instructed to leave the store while he reassembled the phone, which I did. When I returned to pick up the phone, the manager made another threatening comment, saying, "Out of respect for your daughter, if she wasn't here, I would beat your [expletive]." I quickly took my phone and left the store. Upon further investigation, I found that the phone no longer functions at all.
