I cracked my iPhone 4S screen many moons ago and over time continued to drop it randomly, until finally, shards of glass sprinkling my ear, I took it in to the Apple store...to be told they won't fix their own phones! Well, not only did I not want to pay $200 for a refurb replacement, I didn't want a different phone with lame iOS 6. I was pretty sure those world of wireless places would fix it, but to be honest, I was leery of leaving my phone, with my nudie pics and bank account info at the cell phone pawn shop. I briefly considered ordering a kit and fixing it myself, but decided I wasn't prepared to go w/o my phone if I frigged it up. So I did what I always do: turn to yelp. I saw iDoctor had 5 stars, and also read a review that said they got their phone fixed at the wireless place and had to have it re-fixed here anyway (made me feel better about my pre-judgement!). Anyhow, I made an appt because I went on a Saturday, but they do take walk-ins, time permitting. I dropped it off and it was ready before I was done devouring my Pasta Zola! Repair was $140 and he offers a sort of insurance/discount type of thing: for $20 he will fix it again for 1 yr, for $30 he will fix it twice in the next yr. I took him up on the $20 option and feel pretty good about it; gravity seems to be stronger around my phone for some reason! read more

NEVER AGAIN. HACK JOB replacing camera lens on a week old IPhone 6S. First off it was only the camera lens that was cracked. The guy said it would take an hr. so we grabbed lunch at noon and came back. Needless to say he hadn't even been able to get the lens off yet & told us to stop by, by closing (9p). It's now 5:37p, they tried to give us the phone back & when we went to look at the replacement lens by turning the phone over- IT FELL OUT! Then we noticed HUGE GOUGES in the phone around the lens that the repair guy made just trying to take the lens out! We called Gary-the owner, needless to say he could have cared less! He said he was in the middle of dinner & we were ruining his night! We asked for a discount on services being that they gouged the back of my husbands phone & didn't return it in the same condition we brought it in. Gary said no, it's not their fault, we are expected to pay full price. He again stated we ruined his night, and continued to argue about how we should know how hard this is and to expect gouges!!! We said there was no disclaimer stating this nor did your staff state this!!! If you cannot do the job & return the item in the same condition it was brought in, then do not take the job!! read more

The iDoctor is the best in the biz! Recently had the glass replaced on my iPhone and could not be happier! The staff was responsive, knowledgeable, courteous, and well managed. In addition to that, they were able to get my phone back in my hands about an hour after dropping it off. I highly recommend their services. My iPhone 5 screen was crushed. Arrived about quarter after 10, 15 minutes after they opened and walked away at 11am with a new screen. Looks and works fantastic so far. I found out from Brett that the screen is "pre-assembled" with a different home button, which may or may not be new, possibly from another phone they repaired. My home button "feels" different, but overall its flush with the screen and works as new, possibly better than my old one. Kudos to Brett for the quick and quality work. Terrible service today. I brought in a 5s that had a screen replacement approx 2 months earlier. While sitting on the seat of a golf cart, the screen changed colors and when I picked it up to use it there was no response from any sector of the screen. After further review it appears that the screen was sort of separated from the device. The phone was not dropped, crushed or in any way introduced to blunt trauma. The tech on duty today basically told me I was lying and that the screen had to have impacted with "a whole lot of pressure" I disagreed and disagree now. He was incredibly closed minded and would only repeat his position which I now read in reviews to be their standard response...the customer is wrong. Except this time the customer was not wrong. Their customer service failed harder than the device today. Glad they have ample competition in the area who were able to help me. Worth the $ to NOT use the iDoctor again. It is my hope the owner doesn't waste his time responding. Do us all a favor and spend the time getting your people some lessons in customer service. We all know geeks are not people persons...I manage a lot of them. But that doesn't make them right in every circumstance and it cost this business my business and hopefully the business of others I know in the future. Live long and prosper, y'all. read more

No complaints here. Brought my iphone 6 with a cracked screen (dropped it on a tiled floor) in and I had it back within 90 minutes. It certainly wasn't cheap, but I thought it was reasonably priced considering the nature of the problem. I hope I don't need these guys again, but if I do I would go back to them. read more

My ipod stopped playing music out of the blue and when I brought it in to the iDocotor I was pleased to find out that my ipod could be quickly and rather inexpensively fixed. My ipod was done by the time I had lunch and did a little shopping and the service was fantastic. I never felt pressured and I know I got a great value. My ipod is back to new. My hubby has been having issues with the audio jack in his iPhone 5s. We made an appt for 10 am this morning. He dropped it off expecting it to cost $75 to replace the part. I stopped in to get my cel phone screen repaired the guy behind the counter Muhammad was super nice and friendly when he greeted me. He had my phone fixed in less then 40 minutes. About an hour later he called me to tell me I forgot my credit card there. So I had to go back and get it. He recognized me upon return and gave me my card back. I've been working ridiculous hours & finally got a day off. Made the 1.5 hour drive from Red Wing, braved the traffic, and finally walked into iDoctor at 2:00 on a Sunday afternoon. I was told it'd be a $104 and wouldn't be ready until 5:30.... But I let him know I was an avid Yelper & driven SOOO far to find them. I took my iPad to the iDoctor to have my shattered screen repaired. I was told my iPad would be available for pickup in the morning. It was finally ready by 3:30 pm. The staff told me that they shattered two additional screens in the process of replacing mine. Upon receiving my iPad, I noticed the screen is not flush to the sides of the device, causing a ridge. The screen feels uneven and wobbly on one side. The rubber surrounding my screen is hacked up from what ever tool they used to remove the old screen. the metal frame surrounding my screen is bent and hacked up from tools as well. iDoctor claims to specialize in repairing Apple products. Instead, I now own a beat to heck iPad without broken glass. I should have taken it to a real specialist. read more

Great place. They do iphone screen repair while you wait, and if you have a question after the fact they are very helpful. I had my glass replaced there a couple of weeks ago and then today my screen display went blank. I didn't know if they could help or if it even had anything to do with the glass replacement (turned out it did not), but I thought I'd give it a shot. I expected to have to drop it off to have them look at it overnight, but they brought my screen back in 5 mins while I was standing there. Recommend this place as much, much better than dealing with the Apple matrix. They did a really excellent job fixing my son's iPod Touch. You would never know that just a couple days ago the screen was mostly shattered, and even missing one corner! Will be coming back here to try and get our laptop screen replaced next pay day. Prices are extremely reasonable, with wonderfully friendly and knowledgable staff. This is the second time that I've had to get my broken iPhone screen fixed. The first time I went to World of Wireless and was dissatisfied with the results. My screen had some plastic stuck in it and it wasn't completely smooth. After getting my screen fixed with the iDoctor, it looks brand new! Love this place! This is my 3rd visit to the Idoctor. For about $100, another IPhone is as good as new. I bought insurance at Verizon, but the deductible was $179.....holy cow!! What the heck? Instead of dealing with the insurance monkey business, I brought it to the Idoctor. I would not use them again. I was told that the original repair cost would be $150 for a new ipad screen replacement. I was quoted $120 by Computerfixx in Chaska. I called them back and they offered me a 10% reduction. They fixed my glass and within 2 weeks my daughter hit the corner of the ipad on the wall, didn't do anything to the wall but cracked the screen again. My screen was cracked and I went in to have it fixed. They replaced the screen but then an hour later, my phone was acting very laggy and slow to the touch. I went back the next day and they replaced it again and everything seemed fine. Then, the next morning, my phone shut off randomly and would not turn back on. I came in 3 times over a period of a week to pick up my phone thinking it was fixed each time and no work was done what so ever. I was told the part that was needed to fix it wasn't in stock so I asked for my phone back and they wanted to charge me a diagnostics fee anyways.
