Service sucked. Ordered and waited 50 minutes and people that came in after us had their food. I asked waitress if they lost our order she said we had take out order called in at 9:30. We live locally and breakfast is a favorite meal for us. We wanted a breakfast place to come to. Our first waitress had dark hair and was friendly and nice. A second blonde waitress stepped in was unfriendly and unhelpful. My request was two egg whites for our grand daughter because she hates yolks. She said they don't do egg whites. So asked for over well eggs so we could remove the yolks ourselves since the the removal was too much to ask. The eggs came busted so she was able to eat maybe 20% of two eggs. Such simple gestures just mean so much. I won't ever be back. We go to a local Mexican restaurant here and our on first name basis and it is such a different experience. Very disappointed. read more

This is a small home cooked food kinda place. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Pizza is great, also highly recommend the Mushroom Swiss burger and the best onion rings in the world. The waitress was running her tail off and my tea glass stayed full. You can see the entire kitchen and everyone in there is working hard. My absolute favorite place to eat at the lake. This was such a great stop for lunch. It has something to please everyone and the portions are nice. I had the cheeseburger with crinkle fries. What a great family run restaurant. We have had breakfast here a few times and just had lunch for the first time. I had a pizza, and it is now my favorite pizza. Period. Their homemade sausage is absolutely awesome. My wife had the Reuben sandwich with the homemade fries. The sandwich was of good size and very good. The fries get a thumbs up as well. Our service was top notch. The young lady that served us, was very friendly and very informative about the menu. This will be one of our "go to" places when we are out at the lake. Let's start by saying that the food here was actually really good. Service here was by far the top 10 worst service experiences I've had in a long time. It's like the older lady that work there just hated her job and did not want to be there at all. She was rude and came across as condescending. At one point I was about to just get up and walk out but my friends were hungry so we stayed. My recommendation for this place is get the food to go because you do not want to have to put up with the attitude of the waitresses. The one younger waitress was actually very nice and was more helpful so they weren't all bad, But it only takes One Bad Apple to ruin a bunch, and unfortunately this place has that bad apple. read more

No lie, we placed a simple order.....and then after waiting 40 long min, we finally got our food. I thought they'd forgotten about us, so I nicely asked our server, "Do you think (pointing to the kitchen) that they forgot about ours?" She replied, "Did I TAKE your order?"...with the tone and the look on her face "if I took your order, it's not forgotten!" I stayed kind and just said, "Yeah, you took it. I was just wondering if maybe they forgot about us (pointing to the kitchen again)." It was then, still with a stern look on her face, that she said that there were lots of called-in take-out orders that got in front of us. It would have been nice for them to have mentioned that when they sat us down. Be sure to ask first if you go there. . The food was fine. It was just eggs & bacon - can't screw that up, eh?!
