I spoke to Dave (owner) about installing a new antenna with a remote for existing car alarm. He told me that he would be able to update alarm firmware and add new remote. He also told me that the new remote that was looking at was significantly smaller than the one that I have now. I bought the new remote and antenna. The remote arrived and it was the exact same size as the original one. That was the main reason I wanted to switch it out. I then received a text from Dave stating that he didn't think he'd be able to update alarm or add remote. Well, you should've told me that from the beginning! He wasted my time and money. Now I have to return everything that I have bought. If you're an alarm installer you should be able to do a simple task like reprogramming a remote and changing out an antenna. And, if you don't know what certain remotes look like and can't compare them to others, don't say so. Pay attention to the negative reviews, they are there for a reason. read more

Dave is very rude he sounds pretty grouchy when I talk to him on the phone. I reach out to him through yelp and he gave me his number,so I called him to hardwore a dash cam to my car and he was very rude and hung up and was grouchy because I couldn't find the unit and the name fast enough for him customer service is a zero with him. All the five star reviews must be fake because most of the customers have zero friends and not many reviews. Extremely rude and unaware person. Wouldn't even let me explain my issue, just cut me off mid sentence and told me to fix a job I was trying to hire him to do. Claims he doesn't wire new brake lights (simple 14 gauge wire connections, takes 5 minutes). If he can't wire LED brake lights, it's a MAJOR reds flag to me that he isn't a real installer. Because of Dave's installation of my alarm my truck failed smog. He tied into the dlc lines and I guess that's a big nono. He must have known it was wrong because he told me to pull the fuse from the main alarm power before getting smog. That did not matter because the smog tech for some reason did a visual inspection saw the clips and instantly. I took my truck to my friend who is a certified mechanic or 40 years and when he pulled the alarm out he said it was the worst install he's ever seen. There was different gage wire patched together and just taped together in many spots. I had numerous issues with my alarm not arming or disarming, also it wasn't triggered when my truck was egged. read more

After being tasked with finding a company to install alarms on a dozen vans we have in our fleet , I came across 4 Wheel Sound and Dave . I liked that he was mobile so I didn't have to worry about getting the vans anywhere. Dave worked around our scheduling and our limited space to work but he was always there when he said he would be and did leave until the van he was working on was finished . Dave is straight forward and to the point , no B S here . The only couple of minor issues were remedied right away and we honestly have had zero problems with any of the alarms . This guy is one of the most honest, hardworking and straight forward car alarm/car person I have ever had the pleaser to deal with. I emailed him back and forth because my job gives me very little time to actually be on the phone and he happily emailed back. When I told him my car alarm issue he told me over the phone that it may not even be that issue at all but he will still come over and give the car a look over. The next day he comes in fully researched on any possible issue that it could be with. In the end, he was right, it wasn't an issue with the car alarm but an electrical wiring with the car and recommended me have a professional mechanic look at it and where to tell the mechanic look. After chit chatting a bit I asked him how much I owed him for his time and effort and he decided not to charge me at all. He said that it had nothing to do with what he wanted to do and that he didn't feel comfortable charging me for something that he didn't even do. I have been in Las Vegas for 10 years and I have NEVER found a mechanic or car person that will not hesitate to upsell you at any moment and get some type of money out. It is refreshing to run into someone that has an honest work ethic and will not try to overcharge or take advantage of the situation. In a few months, I will be updating my car alarm system and I know exactly who I will be calling to have it all installed. read more

Found Dave by chance on Google looking for a car alarm guy, what a find. Dave asked many questions on the phone to make sure he understood the problem and would be able to bring the correct fix. Dave came to the house on Super Bowl Saturday believe or not which was the best time the truck would be available. He diagnosed and corrected the problem with the dealer installed alarm which needed a specialty fuse to work correctly, which was pricey. I had Dave install a better name brand alarm with more features, The new alarm price was about the same as what the replacement fuse would be. His labor fee was also very reasonable. He quoted the price of the job before starting, no surprises. I would highly recommend Dave for auto alarm and radio repair or install. Dave totally saved us! He is very knowledgeable and helped us get out of a bind over the phone. My cars key fob broke and the alarm was incessantly going off, before we called Dave we tried everything , but nothing worked! We even took the battery out and got it tested, followed steps in the car manual, tried tips from online -- everything! The alarm wouldn't stop going off and the cars anti-theft was on, so it wouldn't start. It was late on a Saturday and the dealer was saying that they wouldn't be able to help until Monday. We called Dave and he talked us through everything! He even called us back when the first few things he suggested didn't work so he could do more research. In the end, we found out that the dealer who I bought the car from (brand new) had installed an after-market alarm. Why the heck they'd do that...I have no idea.
