I wanted to explore the idea of tinting our home windows because I plan to use sheer curtains--to let in maximum light without cranking up the AC. I met with Christian, who came by to provide quotes and go over the available options. He brought some samples, which was great because I was really concerned about the windows looking too dark. I'm not trying to make my home feel like a casino that's gloomy 24/7 from the inside. I ended up choosing Clearview 60 film for the windows where I wanted the least tint, so I wouldn't compromise the view of the blue skies. I'm actually shocked by how much the heat has been reduced--especially in the east-facing windows where the sun used to blaze in. Before, I couldn't even sit on the couch because the sun would burn my skin and the heat was unbearable. Now, I can actually sit and enjoy the sunshine and view without feeling overwhelmed by the heat. For the west-facing areas of the house, I went with Dual Reflective 45. In case you're not familiar, the lower the number, the darker the film--and the more it blocks heat from entering the house. I was really worried it might be too dark, but I honestly can't tell at all, and it's made a huge difference in reducing the heat in my office. I had Contacted a couple other tent places that didn't really want to take the tin off my rear window that had the defroster, but these guys took the time to do it right and I do appreciate that very much. Tint World installed an ambient lighting kit into my Range Rover Velar. I really like the lighting, and they were awesome with the installation. The work is very neat and nicely done. The price was average (they charged the same as the others that I had gotten quotes from). I dropped off my vehicle on Thursday, and it was done late Saturday. The kit isn't retro fitted, so I have to control it via app (you can't get a retrofit ambient lighting kit her in the USA). I would love to find someone who can do a retro fit interior lighting kit here in the US for my car without destroying my car and its complicated electrical system. But for now, this one does well. The installation is smooth, and it looks nice. (See pictures below) I was very worried about the complexity of my electrical system. Land-Rover, Range Rover, and Jaguars have very complex electrical systems. Not many know how to work with our cars. But Tint World assured me that they had experience with my type of car. And so far, there have been no problems. They even installed a phone charger, and it works well. It looks like it came with the car. They did an awesome job. I even referred them to my cousin for some tint work. I will be going back to them to have my headlight re-tinted. The previous owner had them tinted, but it began to peel (poor work) (See pictures below) The only complaint that I had was that one of the lights on the driver side floor fell down. I assume it got so hot in the car while parked that the adhesive failed. I just stuck it back up there. I was a little disappointed to find out that they were mounted with adhesive tape. I was under the impression that they were installed a little more professionally. Because of the complexity of my cars electrical system, my original ambient lighting couldn't be altered. So, for now, my white ambient lighting contributes to the red ambient lights installed. I was told my original ambient light can be changed to red bulbs. But I don't believe that's true since my original ambient lights don't have bulbs. With the 2020 Range Rover Velar, it appears to be some type of motherboard/chip installed and wired into the car (see pictures below). I was inspired to have the ambient lighting kit installed by a video on YouTube. The black Range Rover Velar (same year as mine) had a purple ambient lighting kit installed. To start off, I called here on Monday, March 20th, to obtain a rough quote for my 2020 Infiniti QX60. I briefly spoke with Joey, who had.me speak with Christian the owner. Christian is beyond polite and very down to earth. I was given a rough quote and put into their system, so when I call back, I wouldn't have to go through explaining everything all over again. Personally, that's awesome and professional. What's really great is the fact that Christian sends a courtesy text for the appointment date time, location, and his number and email in case of a cancelation. He also sends a courtesy email, which again is great to be reminded. The following day, I decided to go with Christians business to have my vehicle tinted. I made the appointment for 8:30 am. Needless to say, the day of the appointment, I arrived a little earlier to make sure I knew where I was going. I met with Joey and Christian, and they both went over the options. I never felt pressured into purchasing anything or their services. Yet I knew I wanted to use his business versus others due to the comments and high regard to detail I have seen on various vehicles he did. Christian showed me the shop and made some suggestions. Throughout the entire time, both Christian and Joey were legit honest and professional. Basically, I always pick ceramic tint due to the insane heat waves we have out here and left my suv with them. He told me a rough time, but I'm not one to push, I told him whenever they get done, they get done, absolutely no rush period. I personally feel in my opinion Christians prices were fair and decent for the quality you get. Not to knock on other businesses, but some honestly do not give you ceramic tint, or they give a knock-off version for the expensive price without a lifetime warranty. An update on my truck! Got my subwoofer fixed since it had a tear in it and the shop I got it from wouldn't help me out on a warranty replacement since it wasn't my fault and I spent about 4 grand with them. Yeah no! So I figured as much that would happen so I came down here since I already talked to them about getting it done and man I was blown away by the level of respect they had for my vehicle. The install went perfect and everything is clean. You can check my first install on Audio Express's page on yelp, it was nice, but not as clean as this one. Went for a low level conversion on this one since I lost a bunch of equipment due to high level inputs on the last one. The installer recommended for my truck to just do the PAC AMP Pro instead of all that junk I had and man he knew what he was talking about. He took the time to make sure everything was done right and I see why he had my truck all day versus two hours like others. Sound quality is amazing, the detail and attention that was paid on my vehicle was absolutely amazing. Didn't expect it I should say...... they do keep you informed about their progress as they're going as well, so you know you not being ripped off. I actually got an hook up on just about everything cause amp racks cost a pretty penny, the PAC device cost about 500 and they gave it to me for 400, plus I needed double the wires for both amps and that was only 100 bucks and we know amp kits alone cost around 60 to 80 bucks for a decent one. So with all that being said I say you stop by and get a quote on whatever you need cause these are some great people and it hard to find great humans that won't rip you off and do the work right with no fuss. Love this place and will always recommend Tint World over everyone from this day on!
