We really wanted to keep the original door since it is something special but getting the hardware updated was an absolute nightmare. Hours of poring over catalogues, looking at eBay auctions trying to find vintage parts brought up nothing. I spoke with at least four different locksmiths in town including some who specialize in old houses and absolutely nothing came of it. We had actually gotten to the point where we were going to give up and look at having a replacement door made so we could have modern hardware that will allow us to properly lock our front door. We found Rocky Mountain door by pure chance and after a couple of phone calls and in about two weeks, the original door was taken down taken to their shop and had nice modern hardware fitted to it and I think the door is ready for another hundred years. I am really looking forward to working with them on several other projects we have around the house. I give them my wholehearted, unrestrained and unequivocal endorsement.

After that their service and attitude only warrants 1 star. They loaded the french door unto the pick up bed Box. They had trouble with securing it. I told him I had to get to Laurel with it. "You'll be fine" Unfortunately I made it about 2 miles down the road, when I actually saw the tie down give way. Pulled over by 32nd/Central, 2 nice gentlemen from State Farm came out and assisted. But again, I made it another mile before the tie-down gave way. I called my husband and son, and the three of us spent another hour reloading the door and securing it properly. When I called to let them know loading was NOT good, it was a flippant "sorry about that". When I called back to speak with the owner, he gave me only excuses why it was my trucks fault. I really wanted for them to apologize and remember NOT TO LOAD the next vehicle like that. The door installed really nice. They built a good product, in a short amount of time. So I spent money locally, (which is good) they had the product to me quickly (another point), the product is excellent in quality (no air leaks) but service and customer satisfaction is thumbs down. I had an interior french door to purchase, which I did at the local Lowe's store, they missed those $$

Stay away from them worst customer service ever…read moreI had my windows changed out and set up the install day and time. they showed up a day early and wanted to let me have a construction crew that I do not know run around my house when the only person there was my 15yr old daughter after the windows were installed I had an issue with 2 of them not closing properly, it took 2 months to have them come out and look at it. second time with 1 of the same windows another 2 months and the actual (joey) owner came out to fix it. I called him when I got home and he said I was lying because he showed me that it was working before he left, funny I wasn't home when he left. He then told me it was not his fault that I was too stupid to know how to open and close a window. Go a head and use them if you don't want any follow up service and when you call have the owner call you names while swearing at you

if you have this company do your roof, make sure to have them pull the paper off the bottom edge of…read morethe roof where the ice and water shield goes. they dont do it and in order for it to work properly it needs to stick to the wood. they had an out-of-state crew do the roof on my house this summer and they did not cut the shingles at the edge of the roof going up the eave. they just ripped them off. they also broke a spotlight off the fascia and did not report it or offer to fix it. when joe from the office came to look at the handiwork he tried to play off the jagged edged shingles like there was nothing wrong with them and thats how they should be. when he saw the fascia bend and sticking out he looked at me and said, "so whats wrong with it?" they did the job in september and still havent fixed the damage. they did a poor job and i will not hire them to do any more work.

I have to agree with other reviewers. This company, its owner in particular, is horrible,…read moreunethical and belligerent to customers. Windor did the original window install on our home and then some warrantee replacement work for some Anderson windows that had failed. Anderson was great but Windor completely screwed up the install, cut through the house wrap and the the plywood underlayment and then just covered it up with a trim board with no weatherproofing. When we told the owner that behind the trim boards there is just a hole and no weather protection he actually cursed at my husband, telling him he was "(expletive) stupid" and that is how it is done in the window business. Of course that is not true, this practice does not meet building codes. When we refused to release payment from the escrow account when we were purchasing our home, the jerk sued the little elderly widow we were buying our home from! We released the funds just to keep her out of court. We worked with Anderson directly for the rest of the warrantee work, but we are on the hook to repair the damage that Windor did to our home ourselves. Unbelievable that they are still in business. Please, go anywhere else.
