One glass retailer said that over the last three years, they have received calls from 15+ people telling them Chris took their deposit and never did the job, some elderly! If you choose to do business with this guy, don't give him any money until the job is completed. I paid Chris $1500 deposit for glass and installation (shower), and repair of a fireplace door in a house near Billings, Montana. Weeks went by and I could not get a hold of him. It was excuse after excuse. When I told the other glass providers the excuses I got from him, they told me they were the same excuses they hear other victims received from Chris Blattie. I am out now $1500 from this scammer and have contacted legal counsel to see if we can get a class action complaint started for everyone to try to recover their money this guy has stolen. The above is my opinion based on what I experienced. I hope no one else gets scammed.

Though I only got him to talk on the phone once, he agreed he could do the job and then communicated primarily over text after that. He agreed to come when my in-laws would be available to meet him, and no-showed twice before showing up the third day. What he did not tell me is that he had sold the necessary equipment to do the job to another contractor when he 'retired', and was attempting to cut a 10" wall with an 8" saw - which is all he had. Well, you can't do that... not without going into the house and cutting through the drywall, studs, and molding... Which he did without approval. The mess he left in my basement was one thing. He didn't even bother to lay a tarp down over the carpet while using a wet saw *when the tarp was hanging over the opening*. This effectively turned the carpet into a cement pad by the time I got home hours later. What's even worse is that 1) he didn't even cut a door or make the cuts he *did* make inside and out line up, and 2) he then requested full payment via text for an incomplete job - three weeks later. When I called, he just sent harassing threats via text, and I would not have bothered to post this review except he then filed an illegal mechanic's lien for work not done, which I had to sue him to remove. I won the suit, and he owes damages and legal fees, which now, even *two years later*, he has not paid. Unethical and incompetent: do not use.

Went in to Econo Glass last week to get some glass cut for a table I had. The size was 46" by 22"…read morepicked it up brought it home and it didn't fit. Went back with the glass and table yesterday to get a new piece. I was told that with glass you need to cut it about an 1/8 or an inch shorter so my measurements weren't wrong.... the guy said that he would have to cut a new piece since the couldn't trim off the 1/8 of an inch and he would take the old one saying he'd give me $20 credit towards it. I went in and paid for the new piece and I noticed the price was just about the same. Even with the discount. It apparently way a 25% discount not $20 off I guess I won't take someone's word again. I paid $41.20 for the new piece when I paid $45 for the original... I guess it's safe to say I'm never coming back.. If you look at the picture attached you can see how the owner responds to my Facebook review. What person would be little customers that way??
