Win-Dor Industries Inc. Has come through for me in a big way. A couple days ago I posted an…read moreunfavorable review about Win-Dor. The owner, my salesperson and I had a lengthy conversation this afternoon about my door. It had come in and opened in the wrong direction. My door was a special order and as we all know most businesses sell special orders as non returnable. Even in my business where special orders are an everyday occurrence, I fully understand the implications. Win-Dor made an exception and offered to order a new door and exchange the incorrect one at no cost to me. I want to thank the owner and salesperson for taking the time to hear me out and to offer this solution. What wasn't said in my original post that I would like to be known is, from the time of my quote to when I picked up the door my salesperson went above and beyond. Offering options and solutions to my design that would allow me to get what I wanted for within my budget. Actually, what he offered that I could afford was beyond my expectations. I am truly thrilled with the overall project even tho we had a bump in the road. Win-Dor had no obligation to return my door and they could have sent me walking today. What they did today was turn an un-happy customer into a very happy and thrilled customer. I feel confident enough with Win-Dor and it's staff and their abilities to refer all my clients to them for doors and windows. I deleted my original review because I felt as if now it's a mute point. I would ask anyone who read, liked or commented on the original post to please consider Win-Dor for your next project. They made it right and after all that's really what matters in the end. Thank you Win-Dor for standing behind your promise to take care of your customer. I really appreciate it.

Crew of three did a removal of the 50 year old sliding glass door and installed the new door. After…read more2 years when we tried to close the screen door, it would jump off the track every time. It was obvious the frame had become out-of-square. First troubleshooter from RbA confirmed frame was not square. Second RbA troubleshooter discovered that the sill plate was warped, due to installers not adding boards to properly support sill plate. Body weight of users, stepping on sill while going in and out, caused sill to warp, thus inducing out-of-square to frame. Second troubleshooter added a sister board to the existing sill support (which the installers should have done, but failed to do so), then hammered in a few wooden shims to warp the sill in the opposite direction in order to get the screen door to work. Not happy to have paid for a $10,000 door with a warped sill plate after only two years of use. Manager told me the installers did the job correctly, so considered the problem fixed. He told me our house had, probably, settled since the install. House hasn't settled 1mm in 50 years. RbA = FRAUD. We're in Montana. Blaming the faulty install on the old house doesn't represent RbA's "certified, master installers" very well. If old houses present a problem, then, perhaps, the "certified" installers should have known enough to make sure the sill plate was adequately supported in order to keep the sill from warping in only two years. I suppose the "old house" excuse will be used by RbA to justify the new weatherstripping from coming loose from the new frame, too.
