I had seen the Royal Park Hotel before but never been in - the lobby is gorgeous as well, and a front desk staffer directed me to the conservatory, which is directly behind it. I've also heard they have a nice restaurant on site, so I'm hoping to come back and experience that, at some point. All of the catered food at the conservatory was tasty, as well - we had appetizers, salad, and I had an herb chicken dish, I believe. Waitstaff was very courteous and when I went up to the bar to get a Diet Coke, they asked how everything was tasting, etc., even though I wasn't the hostess of the party; nice customer service. My engaged friend said that they originally looked at Royal Park as a wedding venue, but unfortunately the conservatory wasn't large enough for their number of guests - I'm glad they had their engagement dinner there, so I got to experience it. There were about 30 guests there last night but the space looked like it could fit more, I would guess 40-50 total, easily, and possibly even more. Based on this experience, I'd love to come back to the hotel either to dine or to stay overnight.

We liked sitting by the pool. Well.... we booked this again and when we showed up NO ONE WAS THERE. The place looked like it had been abandoned. The grounds were unkept with dead tree branches in the back. The pond was filthy. It looked like the maintenance person just walked away. They confirmed our arrival the day before but no one was there. We had to find a hotel after a long day of traveling. They called us to say "sorry." Really "sorry!" Don't bother. Last time we thought it was strange because it wasn't really a B&B - just a room but with the studio we could cook our own breakfast. I don't think they know how to run a business. One star is TOO MUCH.

I wish it was lighter out because the grounds looked amazing to walk through. We were able to find the Calf Barn without issue and parking was right next to it. The building itself had original elements but also modernized and the room had a nice rustic/comfortable feel. Single stall bathrooms were by the front door and were updated. A kitchen sink and cabinet was also in the room to the side. The presentation went well and the room was big and airy. Perfect space for a wedding! Cannot wait to go back and visit the museum!

The staff is very friendly, and knowledgable, and very willing to help if needed. I was slightly turned off by the photographer fee of $50.00 a day, especially since we only had a 45 minute shoot, but the pictures turned out beautiful and my friend was happy. I would like to be able to shoot there more, but knowing if have to add a steep shooting fee to the shooting cost is a big deterrent to my willingness to come back to shoot again, even though it's a beautiful place for pictures.

The venue was set up so beautifully. The wedding was filled with so much love as two families were brought together. The reception was quickly transformed after the ceremony. The cocktail hour had an open bar and the most delicious appetizers. Loved the bruschetta and the spanakopita triangles. The food was served family style for the dinner reception. Loved the potatoes and green beans. The party was hopping. The DJ had so much energy. Thanks for grabbing our family for Hava Nagila. Loved the photo area where we captured three generations in multiple images freezing this beautiful day forever etched in our hearts.
