I recently rented a mini storage unit to store items while selling my house. A few months later, I sold my house and downsized and needed to rent more mini storage space until I had a chance to sell some furniture & get organized. I asked to rent a 2nd unit and the owner suggested just a larger unit which saved me considerably. I found the owner to be personable, honest, helpful & accommodating. The storage office and units are clean & secured. I would definitely use them again. read more

After discovering rodent droppings in the hallway, I notified the management. The responded by saying they would "work on getting that area cleaned up." Eight days later when I went to move things into my unit, the rodent droppings were still there. Evidently they were still "working on getting it cleaned up." The person behind the desk responded to my complaint saying "Someone stole my blower." So when they do clean up rodent droppings, they use a blower to blow turds out of a long hallway to the nearest door, which creates clouds of dust from rat turds that no doubt gets blown all over the place and likely into your storage unit. Rodent turd dust can be a source of infection with a lot of nasty diseases. Probably a good idea to wear a dust mask when you go. I know that rodent control is difficult. But leaving rat turds lying in the hallway, which you might get on your shoes or your possessions if you're not watching carefully, for more than a week after notifying management, is a failure to manage the business effectively. It's a failure to provide a clean and safe space in which to entrust them with valuable possessions. It's as if they just don't care. read more

I truly can't even give one star!!! First been with them since 2021, when they change office management the whole place went to shit, my husband suffered cardiac arrest and was off work, we did get behind in our payments, I was notified my unit was up to be unlocked and photographed for auction purposes, I totally understand that, what don't understand is, I went in and paid cash to get my unit in a zero balance, my balance was zero owing, I then was told if I went past 31 days I could be evicted, I had no problem with that, what problem I did have was, I received a eviction notice after I was told I wouldn't, that was fine ok no problem I have 7 days that works, what wasn't ok is they locked my gate code out and over locked my unit with a zero balance, I owed them nothing, I was told I had to come to the office to get in the gate then I had to wait for someone to come and take their lock off my unit, if I owed nothing there was no reason for this, it was a control issue the office girl had, I was treat like a criminal, it was not ok having to go in the office to ask to get to my unit and waiting for her to come unlock my unit, if I owed i totally understand the over locked, but not with a zero balance, then my 7day eviction would fall on a Sunday the day they are closed, she felt so gracious to allow one more day unreal, if your closed that doesn't count as one of your 7 days, so with a 7 day eviction, I had 56 hours only from 10 to 6, to be moving my stuff, that's not even 3 full days, I was told at 6 o'clock on the 7th day I would not be able to get my stuff, and it would be their property, I have contacted the better business bureau and ODJ to report them, I was told if I have a zero balance that isn't legal to do, no where in my contract does it state anything near that, and I am seeking legal assistance on this matter, as I think I'm probably not the only one they have done this too, they have lost so much business since Darrel was let go and hasn't been managing the property, I paid 236 a month for a place that's infested with rats, the rat feces was unreal, so much of my property is damaged, I can't even tell you how much of my property I had to thrown out from rat feces and stuff that had been eaten by rats, it was disgusting, my storage unit had nothing but furniture and clothes and important paperwork in it, no food nothing and the rat feces was everywhere, and the office girl had the audacity to tell me if my unit isn't clean and swept out, I would be charged a cleaning fee, are you serious, if your charging 236 dollars a month for a unit, it should be clean and not infested with rats and they should be liable for damages, because obviously they are not running a cleaning storage facility.. Unfortunately what use to be a decent storage facility with good management has went to hell... read more

BE WARNED: their access gate locks early before 10 pm. They promote access from 6 am to 10 pm 365 days a year. Their office voicemail warns to not be inside the gate after 10 pm. So when I very consciously left at 9:55 pm tonight and the gate was locked for the night before 10 pm I was livid. I called them (also before 10 pm), then called their after-hours alarm company technician (541-746-0527, sticker on office door) and he said, "Wow, this keeps happening with them." I then called Springfield Police non-emergency number (541-726-3714) and an officer provided a generic universal code the police dept. has on file for me to open the gate, but not without saying, "Wow, this keeps happening over there." As I got out, thanks to the police, I packed up all my stored stuff (overflowing my pick-up) and I will end my storage relationship with them tomorrow. PLEASE BE WARNED! read more

WARNING to current and future renters. This place is rat infested and they were aware of the problem. I checked my unit in June of 2023 and notified the office that I had a rat problem which they were aware of at the time. There were rat feces, urine and blood all over my belongings. They chewed up blankets, baskets, clothing, pillows, and a fairly new mattress & box spring, mattress top (new), books, Tupperware, and boxes. Items that weren't chewed had to be thrown out because of urine, blood and feces. We also found several dead rats in boxes and on the ground. When we discovered this, the office was closed and we had to leave early in the morning, out of state. The following day, I called the office, and the management offered to put traps inside but the damage had already been done and we were no longer in town. I told him I would be back to move to another complex -- that was much cleaner and new to the area of Springfield. Within a week, I received an email notification that my rent was increasing, beginning in August. In July 2023, we came back to move out; talked to other customers moving out on the same day -- complaining about the rats. I contacted the office again -- updated them on the extent of the damages -- as we went through it all, taking photos. I had to have a friend come to the unit to haul off all the damaged property to the dump. I asked to be prorated since I moved out in the middle of the month, but was dismissed, per the contract, and advised they are not liable for the damages. There should be a shared responsibility with management. In other words, if they are able to email us for rental increases, then why did they fail on their part to inform about the rat infestation for the opportunity to check our units, place traps, or even move before the massive damage. This place is really old and there are newer and better managed, priced facilities in Springfield. On one day per year, this facility allows customers to sell their storage items on the premises. However, they didn't open the front gate, so people had no way of entering, and our storage was in a completely separate part from the main building, across the street, and the office does not have a view of this part. We had to call the office to open the gate. We had to point the obvious FYI - cameras are broken so surveillance on the property is another risk at your expense. From the photos, you can see that the rats are able to move from unit to unit. Our unit had absolutely no food but somehow the rats brought in dried corn and seeds -- that were found in the unit. read more

I have never had an issue with this company until that lady started working the office, I was told one thing and then a different thing the next time. Always read their contracts and don't trust what they tell you. I have had many units here and worked closely and liked them until her and now she makes me not want to use them or ever again... read more

I am an actual, current tenant here. I have never had a problem with anything regarding billing, communication, or facilities. I have been renting here for approx. two years (Mike F. can give actual if needed) so I have some reason to make my statement. It is unfortunate that Yelp! will not remove fake reviews. I have been renting a unit here since I lost my river property about two years ago. I really like knowing my property is safe here, they have not raised my rate, they are funny and personable, local and locally owned. Compared to most of the mini-storage places in Lane County which are owned by two or three conglomerate businesses (not local). I always recommend this place to my friends and family - it was the best decision I could have made about where to store my stuff! read more
