Charged for three movers there was only two guys there for the first 40 minutes. They acknowledged it and said they'd prorate that time, they did not. They also broke an IKEA tv stand, broke the key off in the lock and the door won't sit flush now. Also I watched them scrape the drywall tf up and lie to my face about it (the chubby guy) Billed for three hours when they worked for two, and over 25% of the time billed was actually only two guys. I will be filing a dispute with my credit card unless Katie can reimburse the damaged item and damage to interior apartment. These brothers and the new gentlemen from Seattle was an amzing crew and they worked as a great team and they went above and beyond to help us move in one day. ....they were easy to communicate with, very helpful in every way. Awful. Gets even worse as the Company has been flat out ignoring my emails and calls. I've moved myself many times. This time I decided to hire movers, since I was moving upstairs. My first observation was that the three kids were not moving quickly at all. They had no hustle. I've packed trucks for catering many times, I know what a good pace should look like. They did not have that. They were also a little bit rude and wearing ear pods. How can I communicate to you if you can't hear me. (One fella was extremely friendly and nice. He got a cash tip.) About 40 minutes into the packing, I caught the lead fella in the moving truck on his cell phone drinking a Red Bull. I imagine that wasn't the first time he was doing that since he was absent for much of the move at the start. I then kindly them to hurry up their pace. They kinda did. At the end of the move when I was paying out, it was then brought to my attention that their drive time to my residence was included in the rate. Nowhere was this spoken to me nor was it on any emails or the contract . I was pretty much charged $55 for them to drive 15 minutes to my residence. I called immediately after to question that. And , the office manager, Breanne, said that was part of the rate. I mentioned to her that nowhere was that written. She told me should would get back to me proving as such. That was the last time I have heard from the Co. They have repeatedly ignored my calls and emails. Absolutely ridiculous! Especially since they pride themselves on being a own company. My experience was not a good one. Recently, two "skinny wimps" showed up to move my 2 bedroom apartment. They took twice as long as I think they should have, partly due to not knowing how to best move large objects like a table and couch. They had to dismantle my table AND front door to move things that the company who moved me IN did not have dismantle. One of the two boys smelled VERY bad and left my new apartment reeking of his body odor. It cost me twice as much as I thought. Will go with another company next time. read more

I hired these guys for an office reorganization and called them twice, both times they were accommodating, on time and very very efficient. Very friendly, respectful and even organized the entire office. It was freezing outside and as they loaded everything into the storage containers outside, they never once complained. They were much faster then quoted, and didn't damage anything at all. They even do long distance moving and I will be hiring them again to do a long distance move for me next. We hired these guys to move us about 3 blocks. They dumped our freezer on the ground and it no longer works. They gave us a second day for free as a result but it only lasted a little over an hour. We were quoted that it would take them 5 to 8 hours to complete the process. We told the girl it would take at least another partial day, but she was the expert. First day we were stuck with about 1.5 hours of overtime, and then the second day we got for free. Our couch got dirty, our Sleep Number bed was mis handled and we had to have Sleep Number come out to fix it and that cost $250. My wife called them but they black listed her number and her email was sent straight to the trash. We have pictures of the way they left our banister on the stares, filthy dirty. They also scratched the leaf on our dining room table, ruined an antique picture frame, the list could go on. It was a very stressful day for us. Would NOT recommend them to anyone. Cooper and his team came out to my incredibly full house and packed it up with care. We had lived in the house for 10 years and had managed to acquire a lot of "stuff". When they came they handled it all (including my garage ) with care and concern for the items. They wrapped everything wonderfully and treated it like it was their own. My original moving plan fell through because uhaul is dumb and Cooper stepped in and saved my rear end. Awesome guys that are very helpful and hardworking, friendly and go above and beyond their job. The two mover guys moved my grandmother's things/furniture in the truck, drove it down to medford, (taking the hilly turns very carefully) where she was going to live, unloaded without any scratches, and set the heavy furniture where she wanted it to be. I will start out by saying the office manager was AWESOME. She was very helpful and if I gave her a review it would be 5 stars. This moving company failed to move all of my things as per instructions. When I tried to resolve the issue they initially tried to deflect the issue by communicating lots of reasons it WASN'T their fault (despite the fact that it was indeed just a mistake that needed to be taken care of!) I didn't appreciate being blamed and also the fact that they were unwilling to provide any sort of discount or tiny bit of refund. They were willing to go back and move the rest of the stuff which was not my favorite solution because it was a huge logistical hassle. They did end up moving the rest of the stuff, free of charge which felt like only a sort of ok solution. Fast forward to going to my storage unit which they had moved my stuff into. You know how when you pack things in a truck or storage unit it's kind of like playing Tetris? Well, they seem to have never played that game. I arrived to a 10 x 10 storage unit that was probably 2/3 full but very poorly packed and therefore appeared totally full. Since these folks are movers I was shocked that it was so poorly packed and in such a haphazard way. I would have imagined they were good at this. Since we needed to fit more stuff in there I had to unpack and repack about 1/2 of the unit which was a big headache especially considering I had already paid these people $1,200 for what was becoming a more and more sub par job. It was so poorly packed lots of stuff fell on my head and it was a terrible time. Additionally, they had not packed any of my artwork! I had specifically asked, several times that they pack the artwork hanging on the walls and they hadn't even wrapped anything! All of these wall hangings with frames/glass were just floating around in there. Maybe it was just an off day but I can't recommend this company especially given they blamed me for their mistake and couldn't offer a solution which was good for me, the customer. read more

Aside from having such a fun business name, the Skinny Wimp Moving Company did a very professional job of transporting a very old and heavy concrete sculpture for us. They let us know when they were on the way to pick up and arrived right on time. The movers were friendly, efficient, and careful. The sculpture was expertly secured in the truck for safe transport.
