The two movers worked hard to meet that request, including figuring out a useful solution for us (unloading some things into the garage instead of putting everything in the house, which helped us meet our goal). The driveway is very steep, and initially Phil thought said could cut it in half with a ramp out of the side of the truck. His time estimate was based on that idea, but it turned out we couldn't use the ramp, so the movers had to work harder than anticipated. They still made it happen, though -- it was more work than they expected going into the job, but they were very kind about it.

They also broke an IKEA tv stand, broke the key off in the lock and the door won't sit flush now. Also I watched them scrape the drywall tf up and lie to my face about it (the chubby guy) Billed for three hours when they worked for two, and over 25% of the time billed was actually only two guys. I will be filing a dispute with my credit card unless Katie can reimburse the damaged item and damage to interior apartment. Then it's between you and Amex (they've never lost a dispute for me)

I have a lot of anxiety having strangers in my house and had previously had a bad experience with movers mistreating my stuff. This experience felt so easy, I was completely respected and we actually had fun! Ted and Nathan didn't just make me feel comfortable; they were downright enjoyable to be around! They made me laugh and made each other laugh. They seemed like a couple of kind individuals who actually enjoy their jobs!
