We also ordered the deep dish pizza, which we were excited to try, but it ended up being pretty disappointing. The crust didn't seem homemade and lacked that buttery, rich flavor you'd expect from an authentic Chicago-style pie. Overall, it felt more like a thick pan pizza than a true deep dish. They even had a special that night of $20 deep dish, so we were excited to try it. Our server was very kind and tried hard, but she was young and inexperienced. She didn't seem to know much about the menu or the specials, but she had a positive attitude and was doing her best, which we appreciated. Since it's a brewery, we decided to try a flight of four of their beers. Unfortunately, every one of them tasted a little flat and lacked the freshness and boldness you'd hope for from house-brewed beers. Oddly enough, I ended up switching to a glass of wine -- which says something when you're sitting in a brewery! I did see they're testing out a new happy hour, so maybe things are still being fine-tuned.
