This was on a Saturday so with help I pushed the truck out of the way and left it parked there for the rest of the weekend. We (my granddaughter and I) were offered a ride home by another person who was dropping off trash. I called the garage in Forest which I have been using for years, but they told me they did not have a towing service but they said they used a towing service out of Rustburg. This was a long way to travel so I then went on-line and did a google search for garages. I chose Jimmy's Automotive as as being the closest but otherwise I knew nothing about them. On Monday morning I gave them a call and he said he would bring a flat-bed truck and meet me at the site. I immediately left (4 miles away) and he showed up within five minutes after I had gotten there. He loaded the truck up and took it to his shop. On Tuesday afternoon he called and said that he replaced the electronic ignition module and I could come by at any time to pick it up, which I did that afternoon, and it ran perfectly! My costs were very reasonable and I am very satisfied!

Shame on me for not using better judgement and going to a real tire dealer.. I made the big mistake of taking 2 tires and 2 wheels to have the tires put on the wheels & balanced. I'm lucky I did not drive on them on the interstate. What Bennett Arrington of Arrington tires did was put the tires on the wheels and add weights to make it look like it was balanced. The next day July 4 I had Walmart in Bedford check the balance of both tires.. Thomas and Billy at Walmart explained how my tires had 3 weights on one side. That means - Forced Balance - they were way out of balance and dangerous.. After talking to a Bedford county sheriff officer he told me that Arrington does not have the machine that balances tires.. I assume they have a antique bubble balance.. that means they eyeball it.. To add insult they did not return the center 2" cap at the center of one wheel.. if your only driving 20 MPH around town then this is your kind of tire balancer.. as for me I'm out $36 plus $18 to Walmart and $10 for a wheel cap..
