And I'll admit it... the burritos are actually pretty good. Way better than my expectations for gas station food. The rewards app is another reason I keep coming back. They always seem to have coupons, discounts, and Freebie Fridays are a nice little bonus. Who doesn't like free snacks? Overall, Maverik makes spending too much money on energy drinks and road trip snacks feel a little more justified. Bad management at Maverik has resulted in high prices, especially on "old" food. They constantly run out of soda (without appropriate signage). A bathroom stall has been out of order for over three days. It took me 10 to 15 minutes to get the TP out of the remaining stall dispenser, while the two employees are gabbing at the kitchen while I appeared to be the only customer at 1:15 am. Pumps are often not working and run out of receipt paper. Sadly, a strawberry blonde night manager was the last straw. After angrily telling her my situation, she became hyper defensive and out of line with absolutely no people skills whatsoever. That inspired me to write this post!!!
