It's not often that I walk into a gas station and expect to have a very clean restroom and this by far was one of those locations that over, exceeded my expectations around cleanliness in the restroom overall But also the Store location as well. We stopped here as a unexpected quick top off of gas on our way into Reno. A little pricey on the per gallon, but again being in California that's expected as well. Then the pump took 10 minutes for 2 gallons - no exaggeration. I went in (while pumping), asked why it's pumping so slow and was told it just does that you need to give it a few seconds. Ended up having to stop at 1.54 gallons because I didn't have another five minutes. When I went back in to get my change, The guy actually shortchanged me - which was the perfect conclusion to my last trip to this gas station.

This review is to distinguish 2 employees that work at this Shell station. The gal that worked outside cleaning up last night (Xmas eve eve) & the guy with the full beard at the register. She felt really bad for me & said don't worry, I got you. I'm not gonna let you run out of gas to get home. I guess she would have given me her own cash !! So I called my daughter & she helped me set up Apple Cash on my phone & sent me some money. It took me a minute lol but I eventually figured it out & went in again to use tap to pay. At that time the bearded guy says oh if I knew you didn't know how to use it and you had come in I would have helped you set it up & showed you have to use it. They hire good, friendly people and in addition to having great customer service, and--in my experience--it attracts pretty friendly customers, generally. They nearly always have the best prices, free coffee and soda with fillup and they used to be Open 24/7... Maybe when the pandemic hangover clears up everyone will be up late again.
