He brought his big lift bucket truck and over a two day period he took care of every tree on my property, including two that were in pretty bad shape. The only one on this particular site is 7 years old. I use to hire this company. In fact twice as well other neighbors have. But things have definitely changed. The last time I used him another company showed up and did the work. The last time I called for work he came out a couple of days after he was already supposed to have been here. I had 6 trees that I wanted pruned. Drive up and reach from the bucket. He gave me a bid of $1700 which was absurd and then scheduled a day. Never showed up. I called and apparently Elizabeth no longer answers the phone she gets a message and text you back. So your texting instead of communicating by phone. Secondly... I rescheduled a second time. No show. Again instead of them calling me I had to reach out again. This went on for 27 days. Absolutely unprofessional and I personally think that Ignacio is not able to do the work on his own anymore and is dependant on another company. I'm not disputing how nice Ignacio and Elizabeth are but they are not taking care of business like they use to. So after the 27th day I reached out to Elizabeth and said this is unacceptable and I cancelled and said never again. The only response I received was Yes Sir.

Of all the quotes we got, Branching Out was the most knowledgeable AND the least expensive! They identified two dead trees and several huge branches. These people work hard and fast! They finished all in two days! We had another storm later the next week which broke another huge branch. Even with all the work they were doing in other parts of the city, they came back within a couple of days. They saved us again! (It was a huge arm hanging directly over my bedroom!) When we met we went over the work and I pointed out things that didn't get done. She assured me Justin would take care of it. Justin did send me a txt acknowledging he needed to finish up and would be out the next week. I called him to find out when. He started rambling on with excuses and again not listening. I ask him to stop talking so I could tell him what I expected and he went off on a rant, very rude, so I finally just hung up. For this job, I wanted to improve our curb appeal by adding prettier stone borders around planters and changing out a tree in the front lawn. Luis helped me pick out stones and what tree would work best. D&G is extremely professional and offers all of the extra little technological touches (like email/text appointment reminders, clear quotes provided in a portal, follow up instructions on how to care for your new landscaping, etc.) that make your business transaction very smooth.
