Easily the best restaurant in this little corner of Colorado. 4th & Main is my go to when i am up in the Wray/Holyoke area and for good reason. Prices are fair, service is friendly, the menu is wide ranging (although I almost always get a Steak). Drinks are also a good value. Its a big upstairs space that is not obvious from the street where you might enter (off 4th fyi), that is divided into bar and dinning room spaces. Table service in both, same menu in both. Both spaces are casual and welcoming, this is an informal place where locals relax for a good meal. I'll be back next time I am up there. read more

We learned of this place from a local rancher. It sits on the corner of 4th and Main on the second floor. There are no signs or indications of it's existence from the street. An elevator is available or you can take the stairs. The restruant is old and there are no frills in the decor. The tables are wood with long wood benches and chairs. The food was delicious. My husband had the pasta with mushrooms and tomatoes. It was creams and filling. I had the pork chops with vegetables and asparagus as my sides. (They we're out of baked sweet potatoes). I have never had a good a pork chop. They were thinly cut, less than 1/2 inch thick, but they were not dry and weee cooked perfectly. They were well seasoned with salt and pepper and the cherry chili sauce was sweet. The vegetables were fresh and lightly sautéed. The asparagus was tender. My meal was only $20. This is a real treasure. If you are in Wray this is a wonderful place for dinner. read more

Hard to find the door but trendiest restaurant in town locally owned and a good menu choices

Neat find for a nice lunch. Hard to find because of the lack of signage but it's the big brick place with the balcony, right on the corner of 4th and Main St, literally. It is upstairs so when you walk in the door, it's a bit confusing...just hang a right and take the elevator or the stairs to the second floor. Called ahead to make sure we weren't too late for lunch- they close 2-5 between meals & were told to come on in. Server was friendly and helpful. Several food options, salads, Southwest, burgers, pastas, margarita pizza, sandwiches. Everyone enjoyed their meals- we had crispy rellanos, shrimp w/ avocado, sliced NY strip sandwich and French dip sandwich. Several options for sides hand all were done well too. read more

This place is amazing... rarely would I suggests a 6th star, but I would for the steak at 4th & main. The way they have their steak menu is a huge win. You get to pick your cut of meat and one of about 8 ways for the steak to be dressed. I've had the black and blue 6 times now... so good. I went in the winter but I plan on checking it out in a few months when it warms up. They have a patio that looks over Main Street, great view of the heart of Wray. Working in the area makes a person thirsty. This hidden gem has great steaks, cold beer, a casual dining experience and really good food! This local hideaway is above Main Street and has that small town feel. Not some HiTech interior, but good ol fashion midwest hospitality. This is a phenomenal restaurant find in such a small town away from major traffic arteries. The steak marinara had just the right balance of tenderness, juiciness, tangy sauce with full flavor. I enjoyed salads two nights, a variation of couthwestern chicken and a peppercorn steak version. These two were excellent! Great selection of beers to go with any meal. Overview: Menu is too ambitious for available kitchen and wait staff. Yesterday, we arrived when 4th and Main opened but meals were still slow to arrive. The server appeared to be wearing too many hats and was distracted. She completely forgot the tortillas for our fajitas and never checked back; we had to walk the restaurant to find her. Watch your ticket. Ours was inaccurate, always in the house's favor. For 5 meals the overcharge was $17.00. However, the tip we added never made it to the credit card charge. If it makes a difference to you, the restaurant is on the 2nd floor of an old building with the original tin ceiling and the acoustics are terrible. Peer pressured into ordering a strawberry margarita, Expensive ($14) and tasting like a bad melted Slurpee from a 7-11 with tequila thrown in and no true strawberry flavor. The carnitas were dry and tasted of the fryer that they used to fry the carnitas in. There was no seasonings used on the meat or in the black beans. The rice was hard and lacked salt. While large portions are provided, the pepperdew and mushroom pasta dish we ordered was barely any better. The noodles and sauce were bland, lacking seasoning. The mushrooms were raw and uncooked. The pepperdew peppers tasted like they were straight from the Jar with the pickling brine still filling the insides, a very harsh contrast to the noodles and sauce. The one redeeming aspect of the restaurant was the wait staff. They were understanding and affable with great personalities. The only part of the bill I didn't mind paying was the 20% tip for the wait staff service. However the staff at checkout weren't as helpful. When asked about our visit we gave our true response and were given incredulous looks and no words of apology. We shall not be returning to this restaurant on our next trip to Wray/Haigler area. read more

I gave this five stars because there were not 10. This is the best restaurant I have been to all year. Who would have thought in the middle of a small town. Everything we had was amazing. The best pizza I have had all year.... Chicken, bacon, mushroom with truffle oil. So yummy!!!! The turtle cheesecake and banana foster was amazing!!!!!! My son had the margarita which normally is our favorite but he even liked the chicken more than that. This is such a cute restaurant with great atmosphere. Do not pass this place up. Traveling through NE Colorado one would not expect to discover a place like 4th & Main. Not to denigrate Wray, but a very nice restaurant was not what we expected. We were pleasantly surprised, and have returned every time we are through the area. I have sampled everything from pasta, shrimp, steaks, pizza and bruschetta at 4th & Main. ALL of it was wonderful. The place is great, the balcony is perfect, the help is attentive and adorable, the beer selection is cold and varied, and the food kicks an amazing amount of ass. Wow! What a great experience we had in Wray for dinner at this place. We were just traveling through and girlfriend and I were pretty hungry so decided on this place because of some decent reviews. I ordered a 20oz Ribeye with asparagus and onion rings as my side. The steak was cooked just as I requested, medium rare and was absolutely delicious! The onion rings and asparagus were cooked perfectly and the IPA washed it down nicely, Girlfriend loved her steak fajitas with extra guacamole. Our server was a nice young lady and the prices were much cheaper than we're used to for quality beef in a restaurant. Highly recommend! read more

Best restaurant in Northeastern Colorado! The food is always excellent - I love that they offer "toppings" for their steaks! My favorite is the NY strip with balsamic vinegar and feta cheese... you just haven't LIVED until you've tried it! I don't know if they still do special holiday menus anymore but a couple years ago we booked a reservation for Valentines Day; they served pheasant sausage and a wild boar sausage that I just can't stop thinking about! Even though the building is historic all the imperfections just add to the charm, it doesn't feel dated at all. Definitely my go-to choice, it's always worth the trip to Wray! read more

So bad I had to leave one time because I never even got my drink order I waited 45 minutes before I left!! Pretty disappointing. We had a few people in town tell us this was a good place to eat in a town with few options for a evening meal. So we were excited to try it. Pretty neat atmosphere walk up the long stairs and look out across town. But then the food came. Ribs were the special so we decided to give them a try.
