CJ took the time to walk me through several recommendations, including their Taco Tuesday specials, which he described with enthusiasm. However, it was his confident suggestion of the salmon that ultimately convinced me--and it did not disappoint. His ability to read the table, offer thoughtful guidance, and make the experience feel personal elevated the entire visit. I give the ambience 5 stars. Such a great look & vibe indoors. We came several years ago & sat out on the patio & enjoyed it very much. The food I'd really only give a 3.5 for my dish (flat iron steak) & 4 stars for my husband's (Mac & cheese with bacon). His had great flavor, it was just super rich & heavy, but delicious. My steak was not very good. IDK how they cooked it - on the flat top or in the oven - it was just sort of rubbery. I finished most of it at home with lots of steak sauce. I would definitely return to try a sandwich or burger. My margarita was pretty good. read more

Went to this place to get happy hour drinks and food on a Friday drink 5pm. The place was pretty busy when we got there. All 3 of the gorgeous waitresses were very attentive and sweet. You can really tell they love their jobs and care about their customers. They had a good selection of microbeers and the drinks looked really good. I went with a couple IPAs they suggested. I got the side salad and some wings. My buddy got the special steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus. It looked really good. He liked it. My wings were decent. My salad was a little too stemmy for me so I gave it to my partner to eat. This place has a good vibe and I am sure I will be back again soon. read more

The owner is a rude obnoxious drunk. Beware if the "specials" such as lasagna and street casseroles. He cooks them in his home, in an uncontrolled and uninspired kitchen, then brings them to the bar and repeats them. He also accepts salmon from customers and prepares it. The service was spot on and for the folks with the bad service reviews maybe you didn't try to get their attention? If I made eye contact they were all over it! If I was in a deep conversation they didn't interrupt. Perfect if you ask me? The food was exceptional. I had a bacon, blue cheese burger with no bun and a salad. We found this little jewel of a bar yesterday and found it to be the best casual dining experience we've had in ages. First, it's hard to not feel welcome when the bartender stops what he's doing to offer a very sincere greeting with eye contact. I know, this is a no brainer and should happen at every business, but it doesn't. The ambiance is fantastic, it looks like a small bistro in a big city. There is also a gorgeous little outdoor dining area. Annie, our server was awesome. Witty and fun and she listens, even if you"re a bit fussy. The food was prepared perfectly, I really appreciate that they use organic greens. The pace of the service was spot on. The check came and we were not held hostage waiting to pay like at virtually every restaurant. Very nice place! Went to 4th street to meet friends. Everyone had burgers I had fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli, red peppers and a chicken breast. The burgers all came out very quickly. The Alfredo was about 5 minutes after. A little long to wait for the final dish. Everything tasted very good. The fries were seasoned and had good flavor. Everyone ate everything off their plates. Small little local town restaurant. Good atmosphere. Conversation was easy to have even as the restaurant filled. It was a very busy place when we left. Severs were very friendly and kept checking on us. Overall a good place to stop in and grab a bite to eat. We'll be back again! read more

We've been enjoying Fourth Street Bar And Grill over the last couple of years since we moved into the area. I don't know what's going on lately but things seem to be going downhill. We especially loved the chicken wings that were plump and crispy and served with your choice of sauce. The cocktails were awesome even if they were high priced but now they aren't even the same because THE BEST bartender/mixer isn't there anymore. We got stuck in I5 traffic heading to a restaurant in Woodland. We got off the highway to travel an alternate route..everyone else had the same idea! Turned around..starving..my husband's birthday...so we said let's just turn around and find whatever to eat and head home. Google restaurants near me...Expected to land at a dive bar with greasy burgers which would of been fine at that point...but ended up finding this little gem...almost don't want to post this...I don't want this wonderful secret to get out! Really the only good thing I have to say about this place is that they really do have an incredible old fashioned, but really the wow factor is the frozen orange peel in the ice cube. The ambiance is nice, the recently updated patio will be nice for enjoying with better weather. Here's my beef: Anthony Sharrah. That is the name of the owner, and he is just downright a nasty person. He knows how to schmooze (notice his own reviews for his own business- from more than one account), but has zero problems with showing his lack of tact when he disagrees with someone. Not only have I witnessed this in person in his own place of business, it is apparent to anyone reading his reviews. It is understandable to stick up for your business, but boy does he lack class. This attitude, unfortunately, reflects in most (not all!) of his staff. Danielle is a sweetheart, Lisa is a firecracker but I have read about her mischarging folks so watch out, and Tracy knows how to crack a joke but truthfully comes across as lazy the couple times I've seen her here. I am sincerely passionate about supporting local businesses but find it more and more of a strain each time I return... hopefully the owner sees enough poor reviews of how nasty he is in front of customers that he realizes that will negatively affect him in the long run. I'm sure this will get a nasty response from him, but as a former industry worker, I hope this is taken with more grace than others. One of our favorite hidden gems in the area. It's a great place for a date night or to take adult family (no one under 21 allowed) when they are in town. Everything we've had has been great so far - prime rib, flat iron, wedge salad, lasagna dinner special - and the drinks are top notch. One note on the often touted old fashioned: it is good and the ice cube is the star, but it's a lot of ice and maybe a little too little booze for the price. I would still recommend giving it a try though! The wait staff works their tails off, acting as both bar tenders and servers, so you may have to be patient at times. One note, the music was a little too loud last time we were there, making it difficult to hear people at our table, so if you are looking for a quiet dinner, this isn't the place.
