It rains a lot in Maryland. - Thank you for clarifying that my painters show up on the doorbell camera, but your crew does not. Painting happened months after I fired your company. This excuse is not logical or valid, just like your charges. - Thank you for clarifying that I lived within 10 seconds of your business so it would not have been a hassle to come back on a non-rainy day. - Thank you for demonstrating that you took more time to respond to this public review than the many emails I sent you. I did not want to drudge up more drama or for this business to threaten to disclose my private information and address. There's a reason I waited until I moved across the country to post this reviewed. I was scared! Giving this business your credit card is a carte blanche for them to rack up charges. You are not charged for each visit, but for months at a time. The explanation is that weekly visits are not guaranteed, but your contract guarantees them weekly payment. I was charged extra to weed wack part of my yard that had a gradual 6-in elevation difference and therefore was not mowed or edged for months. No permission was sought of course for this extra charge.

I moved to my new house in a different part of the area and was having a terrible time getting any lawn and tree maintenance companies to be responsive to my inquiries. I remembered Junior and his team and reached out. Junior is great to work with, coming out to do a personal evaluation of my property's needs. I received a detailed estimate prior to the start of work, and found it very easy to get my questions answered by email. Junior's team did an amazing job sprucing up my front yard! I had them sod, trim my large tree, pull out a nearly-dead evergreen and replace it with a baby version of the same kind of tree, trench my downspout gutters, and install new hydrangea bushes. This on top of pulling out a stubborn tree trying to grow between my patio bricks at the back of the house plus cleaning up the back garden patches. Everything looked so much better once they were done! I'm excited to work with them on a regular basis going forward!

The initial proposal for the year came on the last day of March, and it was full of errors. The first mow didn't happen until 4/29. Weed Preemergent was useless at that point. We paid extra for mulch but never got any. Bare flower beds ended up being infested by weeds. Mowing frequency was 2+weeks apart IN THE SPRING. I seriously doubt they will actually mow the # of times promised in the contract by the year-end. There's no more "green" factor either. An unmarked white truck unloads rented gas-powered equipment. Mowers couldn't care less if they are chopping grass or my flowers. On top of that, we couldn't get anyone to reply to our phone calls or emails. We waited long enough for Zach and his team to respond and make amendments before we write this review. It's very unfortunate to see a good operation drop to this low.
