First, the business owner gave me unreasonably high estimates of time required to finish the job. He said it will take 3 people 9 hours straigt to do that. I live in a townhouse and we only needed our front yard and very small area in our backyard done. I agreed because I didn't know. On the day of service, only 2 people were present at one time and one of them was the boss, mostly supervising so basically they put one guy to work and charged me for 3. The sod they put was brown even when they were putting it, when I mentioned that, they told me that's how it looks now but will become better with watering. They charged me $1500 for dead sod and one man's labor. After 2 weeks of watering like crazy, the grass is still dead in places. I called them, sent them text but they didn't reply, but when I called them from a different number they answered, which proves that I have been scammed. My neighbors did their own sod and that look way greener and fuller than my professionally done, super expensive sod. So take my advise and hire an actual professional. Please do your research on amount of time required and types of sod so they can fool you like they did to me.
